I worked on a snowplow in Iceland for a few years, some 25 years ago. Our trouble was seldom the amount of snow, but the wind. The wind could blow the snow so hard that you couldn't see the plow out your window but the road administration and police pushed us relentlessly to keep the road open, no matter what. I swear that more than once I drove that road simply by memory and in those conditions I was not so worried about driving off the side of the road, but to hit some small vehicle that was stuck. Thankfully, I am told that these days they close the roads much earlier. It was simply bonkers the conditions we had to deal with sometimes. Beautiful video, thanks.
There is so much you need to know to be able to drive under these conditions. I've never seen so much snow blowing so hard that it is blinding to the driver. What is so funny is the fact that there is no snowstorm coming from the sky, beautiful landscape all around you. You are one hell of a knowledgeable driver to handle these conditions. Thanks for a great video. 😁👍👍👍
Glad you have started making videos. Having seen the stunning scenery u post on Instagram over the last few years. Great video, informative with stunning scenery. I hope to drive in Norway at some point .looking forward to your next video .
Where You are at 8.45 and down to 11.20 is one of the worst stretch over Bjørnefjell, when there is heavy snow and wind it's like driving inside of a Snow Hurricane, not possible to drive there when it's daylight, need to be dark and have very good extra light mounted on roof and able to switch between control current from main beam or battery. When it's extreme I only use parking lights on my car and the roof lights on, then I'm able to see the the reflexes on the ploughshares (one side have 1 reflexes, the other side have 2)

Beautiful scenery, but as a retired truck driver of 45 winter driving brings it’s challenges, I’m Pennsylvania in the USA 🇺🇸 and we get are share of snow and Cold weather, be careful out there and stay safe.😊
Absolutely stunning scenery and as I used to say to myself when I started my European work, I'm getting paid for this as well. Enjoy n keep safe drive
