    this is not real rotation and this video is useless. when people ask for rotation they need to rotate the content in relation the page!!!!

    it's not changing page orientation, it's just rotating the page as any other free web can do. Change page orientation is only changing the orientation of the paper not including the words in it that are still in form vertical. The benefit of it, u can put more sheets in 1 page ofc with some resize a bit smaller but it is worth it to save more papers, in my case save the cost, cus I've to print lots of paper. Hope u understand.

      Thank you for watching! I do understand your frustration. I encourage you to contact Adobe and recommend additional rotation options.

      @@erinwrightwriting well I'm actually already know the answer after doing such a trial and error. I can. But it took 2 steps, I'm going to nitro/this adobe to rotate the page. Save it and drag into the edge browser and open it and then click print logo, click more settings and change the pages per sheet (from 1 to 16 sheets per paper). And the orientation of the paper will rotate but the words still vertical.

    My shortcut menu only shows to print or reduce/enlarge thumbnails. Can't find the rotate button. Using Adobe Reader DC on Mac

      Thank you so much for watching! Unfortunately, this tutorial is only for Adobe Acrobat, not Acrobat Reader. While you can rotate pages in Reader for viewing purposes, it's not possible to save the pages in a different orientation.

    Is there a way to change it in the landscape without the words/letters moved? Just the pdf paper if you know what I mean

      Thank you so much for watching! Unfortunately, Acrobat doesn't provide a way to change the page orientation and not the text. However, if your text is editable, you can reorient the text boxes (obviously, that's not a great solution if your PDF is long) after changing the page to landscape. Best of luck!

      @@erinwrightwriting which is what people really look for. what you are explaining here in so many minutes words is trivial

    Would you please tell me which version of Adobe Acrobat Reader you used for this demo ?

    • @erinwrightwriting

      Thank you so much for watching! This tutorial is for the current versions of Adobe Acrobat (2017, 2020, Pro DC) and is filmed with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Unfortunately, Acrobat Reader doesn’t provide a way to change page orientation, although you can view pages in different orientations.

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching! You can turn on the guides by selecting View > Show/Hide > Rulers & Grids > and then choosing the type of guide, grid, or ruler you would like from the submenu. Best of luck!

    I have a 4000+ page document that I need to change the landscape pages only. Is there a video to do that?

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching! I don't have a tutorial about that topic, yet. However, you can select only the landscape pages by selecting Tools > Organize Pages > and then selecting Landscape Pages from the first menu in the Organize Pages toolbar (that menu will likely say All Pages by default, but you can click it to open a drop-down menu). Best of luck!
