    This is a great video! I followed your instructions but when I clicked Print, I got an error message that says the document could not be printed, use our help page to troubleshoot... and another error message that says an error occurred while printing the document, use our help page... I changed the size to 24x36. Any suggestions?

      You might have to add the Adobe printer, or even remove it and readd it

    Thankx. However i cant get rid of a notable color shift after this step, no mater the settings i try. It has lost some saturation. It is absolutely ourageous that you are paying for PDF program that is considered the industry standart and i just spent over 3 hours trying to figure out how to do the most basic thing - set/change the project size. Coming from Photoshop and illustrator where this is a matter of 3 clicks, this has absolutely blown my mind.

  • @vers10

    If you follow this guide, you will lose all interactive elements (e.g. form fields, check boxes) in your PDF. A better way to resize your PDF would be to use Print Production - Preflight tool in Acrobat Pro. This way you will retain everything from the original PDF and avoid the quality loss caused by reprinting.

    • @TheAccessibilityGuy
      @TheAccessibilityGuy  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indeed! Resizing should be done as a first step.

    How do I do this:
    We have big maps that are way to big to be printed on a normal page clearly. I want to zoom in on the map to the section I need and then crop it while it's zoomed in so it'll be clear once printed? I tried this but then it seems like some text stays and some doesn't? The file is in a PDF format although it's just a picture. If I resize the whole thing to fit on the printed page is just blurry so that's why I to zoom in as much as I can and just keep a small portion of the map.
    I've seen how to resize and stuff but not how to zoom in and then crop. Like basically I only need maybe 1/4 of the total dimensions of the map but I wanted to be as clear as possible

    • @TheAccessibilityGuy
      @TheAccessibilityGuy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would recommend zooming in and using a screenshot tool to grab a new image of the map with the higher quality. It's going to be pretty much impossible to do a print of something like that, so you need to use a third party tool. If you are using a PC, you should have access to a tool called snippet which is a fantastic screen grabbing tool.b

    • @dkell1597
      @dkell1597 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TheAccessibilityGuy yeah I ended up doing just that. Snipping the picture to the size I need at the zoom I need it at. Although it would be nice to snip it exactly at the 8.5 x 11 size.
      People are suggesting Bluebeam is better than Adobe for blueprints and cropping and making work packs.
