I was genuinely shocked to see a video on Infamous in 2022, then I remembered that I instantly subbed to you initially because of your recap of the original trilogy a few weeks ago.
It makes the morality system feel incredibly pointless though. Why give the player a good guy, bad guy choice if a few years later the company is just going to say either ending is canon. I get that is how it is already but still, it would have been nice if they took an approach more like the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series
I think something that could help with the 2 maps thing is that eventually Cole gets the ability to fast travel by basically tranforming completely into lightning, shooting into the sky and almost teleporting. So, even when hes doing stuff in Empire City, he could go back mid-game to clean up parts of new murrais... or something like that haha
Honestly dude, for a "first draft" this was awesome, it really worked as a strong continuation for the series. The second "press the d-pad" at the second boat scene was chilling.
@@Prilliyo yo, I am too. He's too fun not too. Although, Peter will be venomized for a bit and then make robotic arms so it might be more fun to play Peter than before.
This game would be game of the year in my book sucker punch should take notes, I’ll say the only things I’ll change for the story would be for Delsin to be good rather than evil because second son reinforced the idea that delsin is good or an anti hero at best, plus I’ll believe that it would be more emotional for delsin if Riley does die and it would be like when Reggie died in second son. Also instead of killing fetch and Eugene they would be injured or out of commission for the story once there is no need of them. Now for the main antagonist it could be a conduit that is the ultimate conduit that is more powerful than even the beast and would need the combine might of cole, delsin and all their allies to take it down but other than the story is great. Now for the extras you can keep the beast dlc for the ones that want the evil cole but also add a dlc for delsin and/or he can be playable during the main story there can also be a prequel comic of what delsin, fetch, Eugene, Riley and how the ultimate conduit started it’s journey, i didn’t mention zeke because the video already stated it but other than this, the game idea is 10/10👍
@@Prilliyo I don't think you get to choose, remember in the new gameplay trailer it says SWITCH to Miles, meaning that during some points in the game you will switch between Pete and Miles.
dear, Sucker Punch: hire this man. Let him do for inFamous what Anthony Burch did for Borderlands. Then immediately hire someone else to "Borderlands 3" the whole thing for the following installment, just to stick with the bit.
@@sokumotanaka9271 To each their own, I won't expect everyone to agree with my opinions. Some people like the ideas, others don't. Life goes on, and we still don't have a new inFamous game. Watch neither of us get what we want if one does eventually come.
I want the next Infamous so bad dude. Really is one of my favorite series’s when it comes to games. It’s been such a long time man. Hopefully we get something soon.
Ghosts sold 10 million copies in a year, Second Son sold 6 million in 8 years. Pretty sure Sucker Punch is gonna make Tsushima 2 before even considering inFamous again. Forspoken is looking like it's got a bit of the inFamous DNA in it, the story and MC look completely cringe, but the gameplay is pretty fluid. Might be the closest thing we get to more inFamous
@@MrMeddyman Also, I believe Sucker Punch blatantly stated that they wouldn't be making another InFamous game since they were already washed up on the concept and wanted to try new stuff, hence Ghost of Tsushima instead of InFamous 3/4. But well, it's also a fact that logs show that the InFamous website was updated twice in the last 2 years, so the rumors and possibility is still out there.
@@matsdal8071 Oh for sure, I don't think they would've even made Second Son if not for them being a Sony studio and being pushed into selling the new Playstation 4's in 2014, Infamous 2 seemed to have been the sum of their plans based on how definitive both endings were.
It had gone over my head since I played mostly a hero in Second Son how amazing of a villain Delsin made, especially in the "Infamous" ending, albiet an edgy ending, I absolutely love how he's a conduit that absorbs other conduit's powers, and in said ending he says that when he releases everyone from prison he will "Shake each and every conduit's hands" that's an insanely sinister origin story for a villain, and easy to see why someone with a power like that would have it go to his head so quickly, and I actually lowkey hope that they make "Infamous" Delsin a canonical villain in a new Infamous game if it ever comes time for it.
With the evil DLC idea you could have the villain still be Delson, but in this timeline he’s the good guy. Becoming the underdog the player is in the main game as you effectively have an insane power trip as he attempts to use all the powers he’s acquired. Perhaps even having traps laid throughout the map hinting at the more desperate fighting tactics Delson has to employ to stand a chance against you Just a thought, great video and I’ll enjoy watching your channel grow, with content like this it’s bound too
I liked delson as the hero I would have liked to see delson and Cole work together seeing delson use new powers while also learning coles powers with Cole would be cool
Okay I love this story for infamous. And I I totally understand why you didn’t incorporate the karma system. But what…just what if you keep this story and modify it through out to where certain parts. You can actually play as Delsin and see his side of the story From him being a villain. So you will switch through out the story between Cole and Delsin sorta like DMC. I think that would be so dope.
Could even have it so at the end you can chose whether or not to have Cole or Delsin be the winner, therefore retaining the option for a good or bad ending. - This is written prior to finishing the video, just in case the ending is similar.
I was thinking this but instead of having delsin segments what if they had you choose who to play as from the beginning or even delsins game be optional in new game+ so that way Cole's story actually makes sense before you play as him
The only changes I'd make is I'd make delson more sad at having to kill his former friends and I'd have Cole get to see delsons life in the good and bad timeline.
This is not a critique to your writing, but the scenario you decided to go with. I love Cole, and I love Infamous 1 and 2, but the major complain about SS is always how little development Delsin get's. Even though the world gets expanded on Paper Trail and it seems canonically he became the Guadian of Seattle, everytime I see fan fictions good or bad, usually it has Cole coming back and Delsin bad. Its a exhausting trope to see because just like Cole, we never really get the whole "Delsin would be bad" vibe. Also, I am fine with the whole Cole came back (Despite the director stating no he died), but why always bad Delsin? Instead of focusing maybe on both working together and using Darpa, Celia, the human traffickers...we focus on Delsin bad. Again, your writing is fine, im just annoyed at how much people wanna jerk cole off while Delsin remains a villian when the complaint was he needs more development. Delsin easily could be working with Zeke and find ways to dismantle the DARPA side that took Kesslers technology which would be 150 years more advanced than the present setting, Darpa could have easily created some extreme Superman like Conduit or something. Delsin and Cole both in the same team...different views, different ways of dealing with things could have still some sparr or fight, mind you Cole wouldnt be in his prime but Delsin would be getting there. Outside my bias, i think you are a good writer and by no means do i mean to condesend or push my idea or narrative on to you. Keep it up.
Couldn't agree more, honestly I'd prefer this theoretical game to be Cole and Delsin meeting up for the first time to stop DARPA's "Super Conduit" and having the player swap between both characters as they play, similar to GTA V. It could have Cole taking on a sort of mentor role for Delsin, filling the void left in Delsin's heart when Reggie was killed.
Yeah, I remember him saying that he knows that there were some gaping holes, and Delson becoming the villain and killing his tribe made no sense. He said that he was going for the good endings, but that seems like he went for the bad ending of second son. It could work, but it doesn’t seem like him at all.
I agree, honestly I always believed it was more fitting for Delsin to end up always being canonically good unlike Cole who originally was going to be canonically evil until more people chose the good path. Delsin in his entirety just some punk who lacks a general sense of authority and even though that personality speaks to people much more then others there’s no indication of Delsin actually being a evil person but still open enough character where the player can choose how they use their power, which makes me believe he is actually a well written inFamous character just not the same way Cole is with him being an everyman so I would’ve love see them work together as a team either in a Delsin becomes a secondary protag, you can choose who to play like Dishonored 2 or even be able to switch due to story or choice and even give them each their own karmic meters maybe. I won’t lie though this whole video has made the kinda overused good cole vs evil Delsin much more interesting then anyone else’s take. I would love the idea of Delsin being in charge and having fetch, Eugene and maybe even Celia as bosses who control their own big parts of the maps and in giant sprawling cities in America or even just this entire videos idea would also be perfect and add some really great stakes to the inFamous series if it was Delsin vs Cole. Still an amazing video.
i'd much rather too that we just have a new yet incredible villain introduced and actually develop Delsin into a much better MC. That was why i couldnt get into his character in the first place in SS. i couldnt get into him in the fanfic in this video
Y'know what'd be really cool? If the evil DLC consisted of you playing as Cole fighting against a AU Delsin who had gathered up the courage to revolt against the beast and use his inner humanity.
Honestly....I love it. Its a perfect send off to me. Even down to Cole wearing Kessler's "armor" essentially making peace with that version of himself while also becoming a hero once more. Also maybe its just my opinion but whether good or bad ending I think Delsin was meant to turn evil. Just how he's portrayed in Second Son made me think he was always a single choice away from becoming Infamous.
@@Truly.Quincho correction, sucker punch *wanted* it to be the canon ending but players decided otherwise so sucker punch gave in an changed it to the good ending being canon
Other than the reason for Delsin turning evil (which we didn’t get lol), •[Also, did Eugene die?] •[Does Cole still have his ice powers?] I would *LOVE* to see this as a game!
@@jeremiahscott2032 Yes they confirmed this years ago so finding the tweet is hard. But the canon ending for the game is the bad one, they said they did this because it actually fit his character.
@@Truly.Quincho except they did you can easily look it up online that after seeing which ending was more favored the writers went on and said they consider the Good ending canon
@@thetrashman4695 @IEnvyLua I tried looking into it I could only find comments on inFamous 2's Good ending being made canon due to player data. I personally have not found anything what Second Son ending is canon
28:19 There's actually more reason for Delsin to switch to this clean energy. Its mentioned in a loading screen that Delsin uses environmentally friendly spray paint for tagging
I think there could be a karma system, the choices just being different. This Cole would definitely be (canonically) a helpful person. So, give a choice of who he helps, and put a minor dialogue system in there, such as when I character asks “what are you going to do to them?” He can say “I’m going to bring them to Justice” or “I’m gonna get revenge for what they’ve done” So, back to the helpful bit. The good karma path would be helping everyone, and the infamous path would be helping just his fellow friendly conduits (think Charles Xavier vs Magneto, Cole would be either helpful to everyone, or be a conduit purist). Also, the player should be able to choose how brutal he is against his enemies: for instance, a mugging happens. The good path would be to restrain the aggressors and heal the victim. The infamous path would be to outright kill and drain the aggressors and not really give a damn about the victims. The karma wouldn’t come from stopping the mugging, it’d be from how you stopped it. It’d be fighting crime like Robin/Batman vs Red Hood. Batman would arrest the baddies, and Red Hood shoots them. Yes, it’d be a bit watered down from the previous games, but it could still work.
@@narutony1916 I’ve never played mass effect (the combat is weird to me tbh) but yeah, that’d be awesome. Especially with minor dialogue choices, good, neutral, and “evil”.
If I may make a suggestion, I think that the moment Cole grabs the Amp from the Cathedral on New Marai, Genesis from inFAMAOUS 1 should play, with the music playing it's crescendo as Cole walks to the Amp, and once Cole pulls the Amp put and unleashes a massive lighting bolt into the sky, the music hits it's climax. Signaling the return of the Prodigial Son, the resurrection of the Demon of Empire City and Patron saint of New Marai. The First Conduit the first son, has returned, shit is about to get real. I think the only major plot flaw I saw was having Empire City being a Delsin's seat of power, but after seeing the Firsts Son research being used to make a new Ray Sphere, I cab see why that was the case. Delsin was smart enought to realize that the Facilities on the First Son might come in handy later. Something totally unescesary, but it would have been interesting that one of Zeke's children turned out to be a Conduit. Something that is just shown at the end or when Zeke's kids are show for the first time. Just a small detail that's all. Edit: Also another idea, the game could really use conduits in secondary missions, to show that while Delsin claims he does all this so that Conduits live safely, both Humans and Conduits live misserably under his rule. Like missions where you have to rescue primary Conduits from Cyla's Papper Ninjas. Help a Family find their Child who is a conduit. Help a Conduit to protect a group of Civilians being attacked by Delsin's tugs. And when the people of New Empire City mad dash assaults Delsin's climate towers you can have conduits be among the people fighting. To show that at the end of the whioe Conduits are supowered people, they are still people. Also I love that you showcase Cole's and Kessler ability to move trought time. And another thing, something I find funny is that, Delsin in this Timeline of events resembles more the Beast that Kessler warned Cole about. Because at leats you could argue that Jonh wanted to save as much of Humanity he could by making as many conduits as he could. Delsin meanwhile only wanted power, not caring who he step over to achive said goal. In fact Delsin's final plan was to basically become the Beats 2.0 In a way this also makes the story of Cole come full circle because. 1-Cole Essentially prevented the rise of the Beast (Again) this preventing a timeline as bad as the one Kessler came from. 2-Having that small mention of Kessler and that moment where he gets emotional really marks the end of Cole arc as a character, specially the part where Cole said "He was a monster, but he was a monster that created a Hero". Delsin's and Cole final fight was the moment that Kessler was preparing him for. To prevent the rise of a monster that would burned down the entire world until nothing remained. 3-Also the moment where Cole looks down at New Empire City and says that now he will do anything to protect this city, kinda feels like a trow back when Cole said that Kessler wanted to make him the savior he failed to be. Cole, at this point, become a true hero, the Savior Kessler failed to be. 4-"And Cole Married his beloved with Zeke at his best man" another trow back to the moment when Cole saw Kessler's memories and said, "When he married Trish, with Zeke as his best man". Again, his story coming full circle. And I know this is a far fetched thing, but it would be cool that Delsin's Tower was build on the same spot where the original Ray Sphere was activated. Ground Zero, where it all began. The birth place of all conduits, thing coming full circle again.
Watching this video feels like an out-of-body experience because everything you're talking about is basically just the inverse and idea I've had since the second son game came out. My idea was basically the absolute reverse of yours because in my idea Cole is a tyrant that's leading all of the conduits not Delson, basically I was running off of good delson evil Cole and running with the idea that Cole took on the powers of the Beast instead of the good ending where he defeated the Beast sorta retconing some things. Awesome my idea for city was a new empire City that was controlled by different conduits with different themes rather than two cities, having new Marais being a neon filled location and New Empire. It's really interesting how similar ideas can be sometimes especially when two people don't know each other at all. Really cool idea though.
Been in an Infamous mood today, and I must say, this is a good concept! Though I’d personally keep Cole dead and have a new protagonist with Electricity as a power instead (or have one that can mimic powers like Delsin can) the removal of the karma system however really doesn’t sit well with me, I would keep karma, but maybe it doesn’t really effect the story like the way it did in the previous games, I’d have all of the choices be about how YOU feel, none of the choices are made out to be GOOD or BAD
At 48:10 would’ve been a perfect spot to introduce the karmic system. Good karma would be to shake his hand and save everyone, while bad karma would be to sacrifice everyone so Delsin would’ve be able to get Cole’s powers. Also, out of the hostages that Delsin has, Riley would be the only on the survive due to his crystalline body being pretty much invulnerable
I love this and a lot of ideas and story points are, mostly, quite interesting. I do have two things I'd change: Delsin being a pure evil antagonist which just feels absolutely bizarre. I do not think him being a dictator should be changed but rather how he perceives his rule and his causality for becoming a ruler. I think the evil ending should be suggested but turn out to be a red haring with his village destroyed by a bomb that Delson fails to stop, and is later blamed for after being seen in his destroyed village, this could help turn him from a very one villain to something more complex (ala Magneto). Second idea, Cole should lose his primary powers in the end, with him slowly losing them the more stuff he does and would give a tangibility to the stakes, his new power, and his final power up. I also think it would be neat if every time erased someone else's his power his own would be rejuvenated so that 100%ers aren't actually screwed and wouldn't exactly be too big of a decision given everyone except Cole (and Delson in one of the endings) dies.
I like these suggestions but i’m confused about the whole bomb blowing up the village thing. I was going off the evil ending of Second son where we see Delsin use his comet drop ability to destroy the Akomish longhouse and everyone in it so i’m not sure how that could be changed to him trying to save it.
@@nopenopington2880 I like the idea of him not being so 1 dimensional a lot and that’s one thing I will change for the next one. Having him maybe framing the destruction of the Akomish on someone else could be interesting well so thanks for that idea.
The whole time I was imagining Cole's voice as the one from the first game, Jason Cottle. I mean it would make sense that his voice would be a bit more gruff than in 2, given he's been at sea for the last like... 13-ish years. Maybe have a line from Zeke about how his voice sounds like "those days after the blast" eh? Anyways, neat story!
@@croissant-bp8vi I think it had to do with SP needing someone who could do mo-cap for the cutscenes, something the first game didn't do. Don't really know why Cottle wasn't available for such, but I think Eric Ladin did alright.
Ultimately I love the idea except for one thing. I actually really liked Delsin so having him follow the evil karma path kinda sucked. But nearing the end when you mentioned Cole saw different timelines I thought of something. It may be labor intensive and mainly just to satiate me but why not make Delsin and Cole have separate stories in game. Like each save you can pick one character. Delsins story would start with mass panic as he somehow encounters Cole who for some reason is evil. Delsin tries to stop Cole but Cole being the ultimate Conduit beats him and deleted all of Delsin's original four powers. The story follows Delsin gaining new powers while controlling the fallout of Evil Cole. Kind of like Infamous 2, Cole and The Beast. Just some food for thought
Dude, this concept for the happy ending Cole really deserves, ABSOLUTE BANGER. This is just my first time watching but I’m absolutely going to come back to it. I was absolutely engrossed into this story and any kind of nit pick I could have had was just blown over by literally everything else. I think the only plot hole I found was just that if you’re doing what sucker punches canon is, then doesn’t that mean laroach is dead? When the beast found the first place to charge the rfi, Cole yells to turn all the boats around but laroach doesn’t listen. Saying “it’s too late, fire, FIRE!!!”. That’s when you hear an explosion in the background while boat hoping, and Nix calling to say “That was laroach’s boat..” So seeing him here was the only thing that really threw me for a loop. Everything else only needs polish and concept to be recreated and you have a solid game. But it’s up to sucker punch since they say they weren’t really thinking on making anything passed second son. I love this regardless though
I love the idea of having different lightning colors a lot! Maybe when players purchase or finish the Bad Ending DLC, they can unlock a cosmetic of Evil Cole with the option of disabling the skin and just having that awesome red and black lighting from Infamous 1. With idk maybe an acknowledgement from Cole himself going "Now knowing what could've happened if I went down that dark path, I'm thankful I didn't. But hey, That was some pretty cool lightning though" when you first equip it.
InFAMOUS is THE MOST underrated franchise ever. I STILL play them religiously, and I even wrote a sequel for Cole's return(LIGHTNING IS #1) as well lol. And it's surprisingly similar to yours. Glad to see not everyone has forgotten about this amazing series. Even the "Festival of Blood" DLC was bangin lol. And I love all things vampires too so, win/win.
I love the respect shown towards Delson’s character and his story in Second Son with this. My only complaint really is that I wish his brother was brought up a bit more than just once. It would have been cool if Cole, after seeing everyone’s timelines and sparing Delson, would say something along the lines of “You went through so much. You and your brother didn’t deserve what happened to you, but that’s still no excuse. In a different world, you honored him, made a mural in his memory and became a hero….Instead, you use his death to justify making the world feel how you did. He may have been only human, but you…you became a monster.”
Cole: so let me get this straight, i died sacrificing myself and the conduits and not only the Conduits still exists but they also have a heavily INFAMOUS reputation still? Jet: well, People thought you were the only exception for Conduits, besides, what the Beast did to the East Coast, causing destruction before you stopped him, help spread fear and hatred towards conduits. I kinda see were people coming from, especially after that maniac conduit literally took over the United States Cole: Oh great, so you saying no matter what i do, people will keep looking at conduits with bad eyes? that sounds about right
I loved this script, I like the fact that Delsin is the villain, since I don't see another option that can match the threat that Kessler and the beast were. Although I'm curious how evil karma could be implemented in this story, it would be interesting. Hopefully one day Sucker Punch and Sony will resume the infamous saga in the not too distant future.
It was so neat when Cole found your subscribers in a secret facility. Seriously though your vision for bringing back Infamous is glorious. I was very skeptical when you started with making Delson the big bad but looking back it does work as your version of him lines up nicely by just having his own immaturity get the better if him Also, BIG kudos for going the extra mile of laying out a plan for a COMPLETE revival with a few comics, remastering the old games, and the "What if?" DLC as what might be the most awesome good compromise for cutting the kinda middling morality system. EDIT: HOLY COW! That ending is perfect. Thank you for not killing Zeke, not giving any condemnation for Cole handling Delson by killing him, and managing to integrate all the series history into this hypothetical sequel. As for revisiting the 1st city maybe Cole could do so as sort of a "dream sequence" thing. Sure having Cole sleep would just an excuse to revisit the city and maybe change the time of day but you could sprinkle a couple side stories into it giving some early hints to Cole's capability for time manipulation powers.
I genuinely would love is this video somehow made it to sucker punch and became the blueprint for infamous 3 being made into a reality. Its a really good conclusion to both cole and delsin's arcs almost mirroring each other; cole's rise to becoming a hero and delsin's fall into villany. If there is one thing id change if any it would be making the prequel comics to infamous 3 into its own game set during those 7 years delsin and co. Were in new empire city taking over while facing the us goverment. As for the title id call it INFAMOUS: FALLEN SON this way both main charecter of the series have 2 titles each showing the 2 paralel stories leading into the divergence cfinale chapter in the 3rd installment.
Haven’t finished it yet but loving the story so far. Kinda bummed bout Delsin being evil though. I kind of liked how he actually seemed to enjoy being a conduit. That evil ending did kinda set him up to be the biggest threat in the series though so I get it. 😅
I literally had the exact opposite idea for a sequel where Cole with the beast’s powers finds a way into the universe that we left off in Second Son. Then you play as a new character who has to ask delsin for help to deal with Beat Cole because there’s no longer the RFI. Crazy how they’re so similar in concept
This concept is nothing short of Amazing. Above all, you left absolutely nothing to be desired and did it very well. Effortlessly addressing and solving existing and possible issues and challenges along the way.No doubt that this would be possible to bring to life.
I really like the idea of Delsin being the villain in a new infamous game, it feels slightly more fitting to his character and I think (whilst its cliche in infamous fanfic) its a unique idea compared to other games. If it was just ''Delsin and Cole team up to fight bad guy' it'd basically just be Spider-Man 2 but infamous However I do think making him less of a purely evil villain, I'm not entirely sure how but I think it'd add a lot to the story. Other than that, amazing idea!
My only gripe with the Karmic system disappearing is that this would almost work better as a comic book or even a show. If the karmic system was to return it could easily be Cole overthrowing Delsin to take over. He could even say “It doesn’t matter how much good I do. I died to save the world, but Someone else is just going to take over everytime.” Then he could at least justify himself switching mindsets.
As a huge fan of InFamous I can't contain my joy for seeing/hearing this video it is by far EXACTLY how I saw a sequel being done for InFamous Second Son and InFamous 2
Love this story. Very well done on the story. I wonder about his dampener ability. It's not used very much and Cole hasn't been seen to have things like that in the past. But I loved the idea of using keslers time abilities. In fact I think they should be the main power growth in the game. I feel like him learning time powers would make the surprise at the end less "remember kesler from 3 games ago" and can be disguised as Cole speeding up his body rather than time manipulation for the first half/ 3 quarters of the game
Like start off with Cole getting his precision shot. That already slowed time in game one, but now he finds it stops time. Though he thinks he's just sparked his brain and body to move super fast for aiming. Then he gets the ability to move more, traveling short distances in the stopped time. That's essentially keslers teleport. When he does figure out it's time manipulation he learns the clone technique, but that's just him stopping time, moving, using his powers in stopped time (lightning bolts would move super slow/not at all) so when he starts time again all shots/grandes/missiles go off at once. I'm trying to think of a combat ability that uses reversing time, but besides reshooting missed shots. Or maybe shooting a shot, revert 1 or 2 seconds to see himself shoot and have 2 Coles for a second. But part of me thinks your idea of understanding reverse time in ray so hear part 2 is a more dramatic reveal.
Something I have to gripe on however. The Karma system could totally work in the post BG3 world having a games writing focus around player choice is completely feasible. Though instead of a wholly black and white it could be much more choice driven.
I love infamous only being about 25 minutes in I would totally buy this game! I wish suckerpunch did another Infamous or remaster the old ones, or even let the community remaster them! I love the story idea, you just gained a new sub
This video is so well made. You can clearly see all of the hard work that went into making it. Its a shame it doesn't has more views but I am really happy it got recommended to me.
I have to say sir this story is just perfect. Not only does it give us a central Hero and villain but it uniquely ties in the cannon path both protagonist go down in order to set up the story how it is. One thing I am a little confused by if Delsin were to give his friends a city of their choosing how come you didn’t include Eugene because he is able to become a darker version of himself just like fetch in Infamous Second Son. As far as second hand Cecilia is perfect but I’ve been looking at other characters in the infamous franchise. I believe that Nix or Sasha Would have been a good choice. Nix because during the whole game she tried to persuade Cole to use his powers for his own gain. Sasha because she felt as if Cole was a king and she could become his queen also she was a little coco for Cole Volts.
I absolutely loved this, really had my imagination going and speaking about Infamous 1&2 remasters, they would be pretty good to bundle with this, obvious having a option to buy them separately but having basically the "Infamous trilogy" would sound amazing for a higher price tag, Either way i imagine that the remasters would be bundled together even separated from this game. And playing them from 1 to 3/4 would be a good way to sell the game i imagine, specially to new comers.
Fantastic video! (Thanks TH-cam recommendations) Your passion for InFamous is what made me go ahead and try the game. Playing InFamous for the first time now. Let's go!
I have no idea why this video showed up on my feed. I’m so glad that it did. I love the infamous series and would be all for it returning. I rarely watch long videos in there entitreity. I was enthralled by your concept. I want this to be seen by sucker punch! Your love for the series is felt and seen throughout the whole video. Well done sir!
-I understand it has been like about 13 years since the ending of inFAMOUS 2 but I dont know how likely it is for someone to know who Cole is.. This isnt a big issue but incase I wanted to put this out in case.. Reasoning; Cole has his face postered up on a Cathedral, he is also known as the "Demon" of empire city while also being known as the patron saint of new marais and he technically has the largest bounty on his head which was mentioned in the comics.. (Please note that I am assuming that Moya did infact place that bounty but if she didnt then well I am an idiot but I mean the government did want Cole sooooo.. XD) -This point is kinda unavoidable as well but incase you may want to see if you can avoid it.. There were a couple moments which include the tutorial bit/ boat ride to new marais but other noteable moments that felt too similar to previous games.. I think working on a tutorial is good for new players and even old to see what the character can do but some bits felt too much like bits and pieces of all the games in one.. (Not saying its completely bad but felt too much a like at times..) -I also think on Delsin's character, I doubt he would be a founder for a private military made up of old D.U.P agents.. If Delsin became twisted and mentally ill I think he would have a small rebelious militia type group (Yes I know it is similar to military but continue reading!. XD) made up of conduits who are also equally mentally ill and twisted like Delsin.. Delsin would even have the charisma to twist minds like in Second Son so recruiting Conduits for him to use at his desposal wouldnt be too hard however the replacement for the rest of the army is Delsin is meant to be the most powerful conduit so what if he could *MAKE* his own with specific elements like concrete or video etc.? I think this will also showcase how powerful Delsin truly is to the player making the player more sceptical and paranoid on when it eventually comes to the 1 on 1 fight between the Demon-Saint and Mr Cool!. XD -I found a problem as well I just remembered, with Abigail 'Fetch' Walker I felt it was weird that she was taking drugs since she was actually killing drug dealers in Second Son and technically drugs had caused her to kill her brother Brent Walker.. I felt like this part kinda defeated Fetch's character and the character build in the 2 previous games she was in.. (I do favour Fetch out of the Second Son characters as well so this has a little bit of bias behind it but when character storylines dont connect properly it begins to create questions that shouldnt have to be asked..) My proposal for this is to explain why she fell back into the bad habit of drug use.. (Atleast from what I remember I have to add this here, I was pretty sure from First Light Brent and Abigail where trying to get clean which is where Shane (I think his name was) decided to be a d and drug Fetch..) However Fetch being broken does sadly make a lot of sense.. -(This may be too early and out of the timeline in how I am sending these..) The amount of main/main-side character deaths is omg, too many for me and especially at the end where they just kept dropping like flies!. XD Maybe try and spread the deaths a little more apart from eachother or make it where it has a tiny bit of purpose for the story.. I think riley's death was just so sudden and so unexpected but whats worse is I felt it was just a little out of place.. I think if he were to die it would need some significance.. Still on that note I also found Zeke's injury... I sadly saw it coming and as much as I want to say I didnt like it because it's Zeke I also want to say that Cole would most likely be protecting Zeke with all his might and would not let Zeke get injured so I want to say it doesnt feel right atleast in this placement as well.. Have Zeke still injured but implement it in a way where it is more unexpected and more stress inducing for not just Cole but the player as well.. (Continued in reply..)
-This is so nit so you can skip if you dont want nit pick but Excaliber reference was sooooo cliche.. Ngl I want to see it but like its still cliche and I am having a war in my head whether cliche is good or bad!. XD -Also a second one immediately after is also a nit pick but this is also based on logic.. Sadly I am one of those people.. So looking at the amp my guess would be steel but I dont think it is mentioned in the game at all what material it is.. Steel is very conductive... However... Steel when rusted is less conductive which means it wouldnt be as effective and as pristine as how you intend the excaliber reference scene is.. I think either way Cole could get the amp fixed however maybe add the lore to someone tends to the amp and keeps it nice and pristine or something.. Cole needs a glorious moment when reuniting with his iconic hand held weapon of choice, I believe holding a crumbling rusty metal stick is not really glorious!. XD (I also know you mentioned that Cole wondered as I did but like I do want to know how it was in the most pristine condition..) -Also Origami Ninja Army!. XDD My gosh, that was such a funny name but not just that I just... I dont know!. This is a little nit picky like the others.. (WOOOOOW A THIRD IN A ROW!. FRICK!. XDD) But nonetheless its a very fun collective set of words to say.. However I do want to ask/say, please tell me thats only a place holder name and not actually gonna be a full ninja army.. If I may, my thought if Celia is evil (I did play the paper trail but I forgot all the lore about it ngl!. XD) then I would imagine that her army would be wearing paper origami mask's like hers.. I wouldnt call them ninja's though because it makes it sound very goofy, I dont know but I found it funny so you know I wasnt entirely against it.. -I find as well to taking Karma out of the picture isnt that good of an idea.. Let me explain.. I enjoyed Second Son but far less then all the other games.. Heck, I think both First Light and Festival of Blood had a better storyline over inFAMOUS Second Son... I will say it again!. FESTIVAL OF BLOOD!. XDD I think the pure reason why it wasnt that successful to me was due to not the karma system but; A) the company not having drive behind the story like they used to. | B) time limit to how long they can work on a game for (Which is why I believe if they were to market for dlc content then the game would be far more successful). | C) The characters felt hollow.. In comparison to Cole Delsin didnt have much for players to really fall in love with.. Heck, I think the only reason why Fetch got her own game was because she had felt like the more fleshed out character in all of Second Son.. Delsin barely had any backstory which is sad and before anyone says something about the death of his parents or the very little information we know about Delsin its all irrelevant to the character of the story we were playing.. Delsin in comparison to Cole or Fetch is the equivalent of comparing the protagonist to a side character who only appears in the story once!. | Back to the karma and no more venting about Delsin and Second Son's flaws!. XD The Karma betters the game making it feel like the world has impact to your decisions.. I can see a way to make this story have an evil Karma route but the method in making it possible for both Karmas to be existent is to make a route before making a karma route or in my case, disecting the Karma route and redesigning a few instances to work with evil karma.. The motvation!. Cole had motivation to stop Delsin and his path to power but if you think on an evil Cole and how he would have an evil path from here, his end goal is to make sure he can be known as the most powerful conduit and taking down someone like Delsin would be the only way to show everyone that that is the case.. (Reason why I dont say that Cole would side with Delsin is because then the paths will be too different however I guess the ending for evil Karma can end with the option of sparing Delsin and making Delsin second in command..) There is only limits if you make limits but when you remember that the story making can tend to have no limits then is when you are able to the unimagineable.. As long as you can make your characters work for the story and make the characters loved then thats all you need for a story to work.. -This is very similar to the last point in what I will mention but it is also very very different and forgot to mention.. Two locations can work but two locations is a bit of a stretch.. However, I mentioned before about dlc.. If SP where to release paid dlc they could make an ultimate game.. Release the base game being the first location and then players explore and play, conquer and create.. Bu!.. When the Dlc comes out, it will follow the story on the new location.. Atleast then it solves your issues on how players will continue to jump back and forth from location to location.. Capiche!?. XDD -To the comment the game would be two games for the price of one, this is why I mention the dlc, that way its not two games for the price of one but one game with over excessive amounts of content however the game on standard only comes with it base foundation being the start of the story.. A lot of players are against and I once were however that was before I looked at it a certain way.. If they were to release microtransactions then thats bad but Dlc being expansion packs are so smart for developers because then they can put their all into the game and finish half a game with it being fully flushed out while having tons and tons or content that creates replayability until the expansion pack comes out and then they can do almost the same but because its dlc they dont have to do it to the point of what they did with the first half of the game but enough so that the dlc would be know to make the game better then it was before by only merely adding to it.. That way you go from lets say as an example 75% game to 100% and if they release more dlc after that then the game starts to go over 100%+.. This infact will fix a lot of their problems that they they had with multiple powers, multiple locations or even having a longer story.. This way they also get funding for the continuation of a games story and the fans will get the best of what the game could offer.. CX Also incase those who sadly dont have internet and wouldnt be able to access the content then perhaps instead of just making it dlc that you have to buy online only but I remember on xbox there were very few games that had ever done this but you could buy versions that had dlc on a seperate disk that would only work when you play the game with the other game disk or you have a re-release of the game a year to a year and a half later where it has all the dlc's on disk with the game so then you wouldnt have to worry about buying them online.. -So now onto core reactors.. The idea is sick and at the start I was one for it but if Delsin is obsessed with getting more and more powers and being the most powerful conduit the world could ever see then would Delsin be using them to his own advantage?. I think there is flaw to story around the core reactors but the actual idea itself is amazing.. It is sadly another part here however I think in which it needs to be reworked.. I also want to add that the clean energy part of the core reactors and for Delsin caring I am mixed feelings about because it does make sense but why would Delsin necessarily care?. Need I remind you of when Delsin sees destruction at the start of the game when he saw neon and video and its destruction to the environment plus he uses so much smoke from his powers anyway in which that would also probably effect the environment so Delsin caring about clean energy is a little weird.. -I also want to mention (This may count as nit picking as well) Riley seems to be too much like Eugene for the first part of the game.. I think its okay and makes sense why but I dont know, having multiple characters be too similar can create problems for the story sometimes.. I didnt find it was too big of an issue but I think its worth mention!. CX (Continued in reply..)
-Another possible nit pick but also mixed with kinda a question.. When Cole drains Delsin's powers from him is this something new or is this something old in your plan.. I think it wouldnt make sense if it was old unless... See a lot of people including myself at one point and I doubt Sucker Punch had even intended it to be the power Delsin has but... Delsin has a primary power, it is kinda like a combination of Blast Cores and Ray Field Energy.. I believe Delsin has a beast like power which purely benefits himself and not others, which explains how can hold multiple powers.. Other conduits in the past have tried to interact with blast cores/ core relays but they werent successful besides two.. Delsin and Cole are able to absorb the power of these cores but for two seperate reasons.. Delsin is able to absorb the core energy because of his ray field like power, making him more than compatible but with Cole on the other hand there are like two ideas I have.. He is able to overload the energy of the blast core which results in him absorbing the entirety of all its energy or due to his exposure not once but twice being at ground zero for both exposures to the raysphere and his interaction with the beast which the Beasts power is pure raysphere powers Cole would most definitely be able to absorb any core he comes across.. But this also means that my idea for how Cole can take from Delsin specifically is that Delsin kinda acts as a Blast Core towards Cole except Cole doesnt get any of the powers (Sadly) so meaning there is a little bit of logic behind the explanation.. (I hope this makes sense but if it doesnt I am more than happy to reword everything I said and re-explain it..) I just find it strange though if none of this the reason and Cole is able to take powers from any conduit why he is able to do this now of all times.. Is it because he used the rfi?. I dont know but I would like this to be looked at and either answered or reworked.. CX (Not saying you have to because its your idea.. CX) -This one is major nick picking because its not liking the idea but Zeke leaving to be with his family.. I understand he does come back again at some point but after Cole's return I do really believe that Zeke would not leave Cole or atleast in this way.. I just think Zeke would stick by Cole's side and with the guilt of having helped Delsin on a technical point he would want to do whatever it takes to stop Delsin.. -The blueprint scene needs to be scrapped in my opinion as well.. Yes it leaves the players wondering but the players shouldnt know about something until the main character/ protagonist knows it.. I think it would take away from the later upcoming scene where Cole does find out about the blueprint and starts looking into it.. I just think seeing too many cutscenes that involves other characters more over the main and even without the main will take away from the game but only so slightly.. Its also an additional piece that doesnt need to be included in the game until much later unless you have Cole or someone notice the two looking at a blueprint from afar.. Also not saying you cant have scenes were its mainly focused on other characters but too many of them and even letting the player find out certain information before its even relevant just takes away from some plots.. -Also the mention of Nuke to Prison was so weird because it didnt make any sense for 'Two' to even know what was in the prison as you had stated.. Maybe make the relevance of her mentioning it a little more than just random.. Like instead of the characters stating that they would need a nuke say that they need some super weapon to bring down trump wall in which 'Two' will reply with "Actually, A super weapon might be possible!." And then will proceed to talk about the prison and a possible powerful conduit trapped inside.. -This is more of a request if anything but the Wrist Guard and the Amp feature you introduce would be much nicer if the old concept for the Amp Trident returned!. XD I think it would also work a lot more though however if it was the Trid-Amp since it can be thrown like Spear.. (For a feature in an inFAMOUS game I couldnt entirely see this as a feature but we are allowed to dream!. XD) -I like the idea of Cole bring himself back to life as well but like I want to say that it creates way too many problems for the story.. If Cole was the one to do so then how did Cole live to do so and it makes things very confusing and complicated.. Its cool and I love it but its not something that works well for story righting which is why if that where to come in play this would most definitely be the last game because theoretically Cole cant die.. -And now the biggest problem of all!. There can still be a technical continuation.. Looking at how things had turned out I had always believed in something that where what if the beast that Kessler showed in 1 were different to the beast in 2.. Kessler described the beast as a being to extinguish all life but... inFAMOUS 2's beast did not.. The beasts intention was to preserve life by creating conduits.. Now either way whether its the same beast Kessler was referring to or not is fine because the overall story either way it goes is fantastic.. CX However your ending makes it feel like the story is gonna end up cycling.. Now although Trish isnt marrying Cole but like what if she does and because the way inFAMOUS Games work and how this idea works Cole could have been able to marry Trish after all since if he was able to be revived then she technically could through Cole's time power.. This is why I said having a multiverse implemented improperly can lead to a disaster.. Things start to cave in on itself creating a situation like this.. Ngl it would be cool if that is how the reboot will come into play but like at the same time that would render the entire story to have no point because Cole then would not have been able to defeat the beast.... Or the next game would be him trying to defeat the beast.. Who knows.. But thats just a theory!. A ga~ksjbgfvijudshufi (Uhm thats copyrighted!. XD).. *So as I have stated in a previous comment, I think although it may not be perfect I very much enjoyed this video.. I want to say as well, sorry if these all seemed mean to point out or very nitpicky but I just wanted to interact but also give my overall opinion since you also said you wanted constructive criticism.. I may not be a professional but my character building and personal story development all started from inFAMOUS and this I could not help but to feel was awefully similar to my original first ever story idea for a new inFAMOUS game.. I think you should definitely return to this when you can and want to do more for this because I like to say that giving time on story development makes the story incredible and truly shows love has been put behind it.. I really enjoyed this video and I hope again that my comments werent too harsh or offending because the ideas where good, I just wanted to interact with it and maybe some help some use to someone.. Please keep up the good work (also on a side note I rewatched the video while skipping through bits to remember all my points so what should have been 2 and a half hours ended up being 3hrs and 45mins roughly!. XDD)..*
First off i’m going to thank you because this is what I wanted when I said to critique the fuck out of this video. Secondly I like a lot of your points but some of them are things I thought of but had to remove just because I wanted to keep the video below 4 hours. That’s why most of the second act seems really ass, I had to just keep the explaining to a minimum. Again thanks for the comments and I’ll maybe even consult with you in a year or 2 when I come back to this topic.
@@overusedbruh Oh my lord, did you read the entire thing.. OnO Also thanks for not getting annoyed, I tend to annoy people when making massive comments/replies.. (I actually think this may be my longest reply ever and for good reason to believe as well.. XD) Also that does make sense as well to cutting somethings out to keep the video below a certain amount of time.. I also dont think the second act was completely bad, I think it just needs time and that time for it to be explained.. CX Also no worries, I used to always create stories and characters with a friend for skyrim and found it very enjoyable so this was great and made me have a nostalgia trip.. CX And if you somehow remember this comment and come back in 2 years then holy shhhhh my guy, what a memory!. XD But never the less, when you do make the next video I will definitely watch it.. CX
Small issue that I noticed: Laroche can’t be alive in this hypothetical game since he died in the good karma ending in inFAMOUS 2. The Beast killed him and his men when they were on the boats in the final mission.
Please some one get this trending and send it to sucker punch! We need another infamous game! (Edit): The only thing that I would’ve added is that (going along with infamous 2’s good ending) Cole would’ve had agent Kuo’s ice powers. Which would’ve definitely given cole a whole new range of game play.
I’m only halfway through the video but I NEED this game now! Everything just seems so god damn good Update: finally finished this video and man this was still amazing.
I loved this! This series is amazing, and I loved how you actually took the time to create your own story and characters instead of just saying “Cole fights Delsin, that’s it”. Thank you ❤
[Spoilers for the video.] (Story) There's only 2 Issues I can find that bother me in the story. First, Riley's final moments make no sense; definitely a cool moment, but it ends up being suicidal. This could easily be fixed by including more dialogue referencing his goal, or at least not having him die from his own power that he just gave to Delsin. Second and last, the list of powers given as examples for Delsin probably wouldn't work in gameplay. Now I know those were solely given as examples and aren't final, but I really had to strecth to find a second issue, so, take some pride in that. I was always under the impression that Conduits gained power over natural elements or matter, the only exceptions we've been given are concrete and paper (arguably the most disappointing to be seen in practice). Even if this isn't a rule and I'm making it up, I believe following it would make for more interesting and "balanced" powers. Smoke, neon, video (technically natural, just manipulated into what we perceive as sound and visual), water (because of the rain cloud), steam, metal, nature (grass and trees), and glass could work in place of mirror. (Gameplay) I like your ideas of multiple classes with different specialties, though I do believe they could be streamlined to fit on a controller while mitigating or (hopefully) removing the need to do so entirely. I do agree that Second Son had the best controls, though they did limit the number of abilities any given power could have (I believe it was 4 or so abilities given to each power). For the sake of maintaining simple controls and allowing for numerous abilities, I think a balance between Second Son and 2 would be preferred. -Mobility The glide is, as you said, useless unless you have the height advantage already. For this, we have 2 solutions, one to gain height, and one to make the glide useful more often. By allowing a boost or super jump to be used without any energy cost, we enable the use of gliding from any location for at least a short distance. You already mentioned this in the final section of the video, but holding X+R2/R1 is unnecessary. We could simply hold X to "charge" the jump similar to PROTOTYPE, the only difference being that you hold it for around a second before it auto-launches you. By standing still when releasing, you gain massive elevation, or you get decent elevation with directional momentum by moving in that direction when releasing. Finally, by implementing your "smooth parkour" idea, we could also include a new climbing option akin to the Hookblade from AC Revelations. By timing a button press when you leap, you cast a lightning tether in the direction of movement that flings you up or along the surface. Both of these movement systems together with the traversal from the second game means we can effectively remove the lightning tether from occupying an input. -Dodging While the dodge has stayed unchanged between 1 and 2, it frankly should after Second Son. Instead of rolling or hopping a short distance, we have an upgrade that can be bought early on that changes it into a short-range teleport; this would enable it to be used in traversal and offense similar to the smoke dash form Second Son. This would be bound to O (Circle). Optionally, if you wish for teleporting to be an endgame feature or upgrade, you could simply cause a small explosion of electricity to push yourself in the desired direction for the same effect. -Melee Square is still for basic melee, although I'm unsure if the combo and finisher system should be brought over from 2. I think having square for a basic attack and holding Square for a strong attack with AOE would be better; it would also save Triangle for something else. -Ranged We still have the normal L2+R2 lightning bolt, specifically the one from the first game, a proper bolt. L1+R2 is the sniper shot, same function as normal. R1 is the standard grenade, same function. R2 alone is the shield, as seen in the first game. A quick tap of L1 instead of holding with launch a missile. Holding R1 will charge a shockwave for around a second (maybe shorter), like the neon missile in Second Son. The face buttons should be avoided for ranged combat for the same reasons you mentioned. -Misc. Draining electricity will likely go to the touchpad with the same mechanics as Second Son. D-pad down is still the lighting strike. If you want to have inFAMOUS 2-style ability modifiers, d-pad left, right and up can switch between loadouts (or classes, but I like customization). Karmic actions or miscellaneous interactions can be contextual like in Second Son rather than requiring you to hold a button like in 1 and 2. Triangle can be melee finishers or whatever else you want to replace it with. (End) Alright, I'm pretty sure that's everything, I'm sure I'll be reminded if it's not. This is the best I can come up with to keep the simplicity and analogue stick control of Second Son and combine it with the overwhelming amount of abilities in inFAMOUS 2. If I'm missing anything, I'll come back and add it if I don't forget.
I think the idea of Cole being permeanantly good is a really cool idea, and Delsin being evil definitely makes the character more interesting than the stale good guy we get in Second Son, but what if for this next game you get the choice to play as a good cole or an evil Delsin? it gives the player a chance to be either side and to enjoy both characters stories in depth more, but following the same story for both of the characters (Cole vs Delsin) and getting an ending depending on which character beats who
"They shouldn't have hit him with lightning at the end of inFAMOUS 2" - Trruuuuuuuueeeeee!.. XDD I am going through the video again to mention a few points since you wanted constructive criticism, I think a couple of things will be worth mention so brb I guess!. XD
I love that you're not fanboying for Cole and Zeke but instead respect them and treat them the way they deserve. Honestly, modern movie/game writers could learn a lot from this vid. Great job.
If infamous second son made cole sacrifice pointless why not revive him too with a lighting bolt XD. Every Infamous fan would love to play with cole again since 2 games are too short. You miss KUO bring her back too
you could make an anti-gravity conduit enemy controlling the air around them and slowing down the player and making it harder to jump and move with the pressure of the amp hurting the player
Honestly I don't know if love or dislike this video. I'm a HUGE Infamous fan, but personally I'm way more connected to Delsin than to Cole for personal reasons, so I'm going to take the stand to defend why you should at least consider he should be used more or even in a different way the next time you take a shot at doing this story. Now, don't get me wrong. This "Prodigal Son" story sounds absolutely amazing... For the first two Infamous fans, cuz the other ones that preferred Delsin as the protagonist will feel kinda left out. At least in my opinion. Cole starred in two games and one 2 and a half hours long DLC that changed the gameplay a bit, while Delsin only starred on his game, had one DLC that only gave him cosmetic changes, and another one where he wasn't even the protagonist (and many people say that has better story over his own dang game). Having the next game not only be exclusively about Cole (after him dying in the previous game and a freaking mission in Second Son saying that he's still very much dead, a game that's 7 years later in-universe) and him getting his happy ending, but also actively make Delsin the irredeemable, unplayable villain? In an inescapable prison with no way out, no set up for sequel like Cole had, no friends or family, and no chance of redemption or even another way that isn't killing him? That would leave fans like me that like him more or just wanted to play more of him very, very sad. One thing you could do was in that DLC that you said so instead of making it about Beast!Cole being the protag again it could be the Delsin of that timeline rebelling against him with having new or entirely different powers (barring smoke because is too iconic). Or if you HAVE to stick to him being the villain how about Delsin actually feel like a genuine threat with weight, be intimidating, ruthless. Cocky? Sure. But he shouldn't be so.... Idk fearful? Because in the first encounter he was fearful of Cole because he lost one power even tho he probably had dozens more. And the latter half he walls himself in his own tower instead of planning a more secure way to win against Cole like he did with Fetch. Idk man make the dudes like I that loved how versatile Delsin felt and take it to the extreme if you aren't gonna make him playable. Make him actively use the new powers that we feared when we heard he was gonna "shake" hundreds of hands. (Tho I'll admit that, if you had to kill Fetch and Eugene, him doing it with their own powers is a nice touch) If he's gonna have a power boost at the end of the game, make it feel actually insane. He's the dude that shaked hundreds of hands, absorbed God knows how many Core Relays after taking down the DUP, beated Fetch with actual strategy and a way more limited version of her own powers (not to say freaking Augustine). Go crazy! Combining abilities that work good together like video and neon to make them cover each other's weakness, or concrete and smoke/fire to create magma. You said it yourself, he's an artist. His imagination must be wild, plus who wouldn't think what they would do with their powers if they could use more than one at a time? Ask Ben 10 lmao. What I'm trying to say is that it should really show more respect towards Second Son, because this feels like some heavy favoritism. Sure, you gave Delsin a whole section of the map on his image, but you gave Cole remastered maps from his two games, plus 4th dimensional powers. Just sayin' The point is, your story is nice, REALLY nice, but I personaly think should really aim to please BOTH fans next time, because as it is.... Sure. If you polish it a bit more and take more time with some things it could end up being the perfect end of a trilogy. But I don't want to feel like my experiences with Second Son are less because it's just a spin-off villain origin story game. Specially cause, as you said, Second Son was a sort-of reboot, so people like me that were ready to see where it goes would obviously feel disappointed in seeing that, the very next game, the protagonist becomes the unplayable villain (when you said yourself that most people play the good path and don't look back). Again, no hate, just a passionate fan to other expressing his opinion in hopes that it gets considered next time. Can't wait for the next one! Thanks for your time (and sorry for the wall of text)
This was great to listen to, almost like playing a new game, great video game story structure. My only criticism is that Delson seem week right from the start, you figure out right away all you have to do is shake hands with him. Also maybe make Delson more evil in the sense that he wanted to actually make life better for everyone and thought he was doing a favor over throwing government, but over time he found he didnt have to ability to keep things functional, and he actually destroyed hope, so maybe he is jealous of Cole because Cole actually inspires hope and was the leader Delson couldnt be
Just finished this it was great at first I was kinda weirded out by the whole Cole comes back via lighting bolt idea and was so married to an idea from years ago where it was good Delson fighting a time jumping Evil Cole, my only real complaint is that Cole's wife really comes out of left field especially with the whole "felt familiar" line I would say either set her up at some point, say it's someone completely new, or just bring back Trish
i totally forgot to mention it at the aftermath part but i did have her as a character but for times sake i removed her so that’s why it kinda came outta nowhere
lol there are some things in my own fan sequel that are similar to yours; However I go a completely different route in terms of antagonist. I do have a small team of people would love to work on a fan game. We went dormant for awhile due to limitations on the software we were using. But my interest in the project just fired back up. For now I just am making a proof of concept for gameplay mechanics on a PlayStation Software called Dreams. I’m taking it as far as dreams will let me. If nothing else it will resemble First Light’s Arena mode. (Dreams has storage limitations called “thermo” that is hard to make a full fledged game with). But I have several game mechanics I can at least test out with it. My ultimate dream is to get like minded individuals work on a non-profit fan sequel of this beloved franchise. I am not a good coder but would love for volunteers join the project. Some of your points you have made in this sounded really good and would be cool to weave some of it into the story I have in mind. As of right now it is still just a proof of concept and you can actually look at some of the gameplay mechanics I did work on by going to my TH-cam channel and checkout the infamous playlist. I say this because maybe if this project can gain enough traction, Sucker Punch will finally wake up and see there are plenty of fans of the franchise who either want a new game or at the very least PS5 remaster/reboot.
I literally bit my tongue through all the plot holes because I mean I wanted to wait till the end.. This video gives me feeling of nostalgia and not because of inFAMOUS to me like yourself is a chilhood sorta game for me but its because I made an idea for an inFAMOUS Game that was so very much similar to your idea!. The end was different by a mile but there was massive similarity especially with the start and it made me feel happy to hear someone else think of something like that.. I hadnt made an inFAMOUS story in a while but I will say that I actually have a second story for a new inFAMOUS Game.. I cam back to inFAMOUS' story making after many years of developing a story of my own and even after starting an rp group with some friends.. Funny enough my story as well has elements inspired by some of my most favourite stories and series of all time and inFAMOUS is no exception.. CX I have subscribed and Hit the bell because your content is pretty gewd!. CX Also I expect a return to this video in the further future and I want to be notified when you do that video.. Also I do want to say even though the story itself wasnt perfect and had a lot of plot holes, stories can take years with more years on top of that to develop.. So... you want to remove the element of choice from the player and then make them *pay* for the option to choose? As well forcing Delsin into the bad path removes player agency, it's still a pretty good story, just the execution creates a few unnecessary problems
To be honest it kinda hurts to see delson as the bad guy being that i went the good guy rouit but im still down for it im only at 18:49 but im loveing this so far You should seriously pitch this to sucker punch if they ever give you the chance The one thing id think would be really cool is takeing control as both Cole and Delson Cole haveing the choices to be good and evil where the parts you play as Delson you dont get to choose it will really show how far gone he is giveing people a reason to want to fight the character they last played Edit: ok I just past the part about not adding the karma system which is a bold choice but I do agree with what you said 100%

I think you should add in a scene where Delsin has kidnapped Zekes twins and strung them up on 2 separate towers (like Kessler did with Trish) and use this as a callback that Delsin tries to break down Coles will to fight him in which case in a panicked rage cole unlocks a new ability maybe teleport (which in game could just be used as a fast travel tool) further I think if Zeke named his first son and daughter "Cole" and "Trish" it would be a good and wholesome moment for Cole and Zeke when they reunite Further if the daughters name is Trish and the tower scene happens you could have it as a redemption for cole as right before the girl hits the ground he saves her in which redeems him for not being there in time for his love in the first game. Idk a bunch you could do with the story best of luck and great work on this!!!
Man that's a throwback.. I can faintly remember Sony being hacked though I don't think I ever took notice lol. Though I vividly remember being stuck between dead nation and infamous until my old man took over and chose infamous aha. He played the game more then I did lmfao..
Got into the Infamous franchise recently. Loving the games so far, and this video is absolutely helping me with my obsession with them. It really does feel like a next Infamous game, which I hope does come out eventually. Also, tying back to Kessler's time travel powers with Cole having 4D powers is actually SO PEAK. It's just such a smart way to tie back into the first game. Great job on this video!
I always genuinely enjoy these self written story videos for games and this is no exception. Got me well hooked by the first couple of minutes. Excellent work 👏
So I’ll say, your writing here is pretty good. You’ve got some great ideas, a very cinematic way of envisioning and conveying those ideas, and a decent grasp of emotional moments. This is clearly a project of passion and I love that for you. Unfortunately I, personal taste speaking, hate hate haaaate the foundation and backbone of this whole story. The premise feels extremely flawed to me in a very “fanfic-y” sort of way (and I hate using that as a description because there’s nothing wrong with fanfic as an art form, but it does carry certain preconceived ideas helpful in describing what I’m talking about). Your passion as a fan of this franchise and its characters is a great boon, but it’s a double edged sword. Typically when fans write fanfic, they don’t often build their own material or expand on what’s there, they let their passion for the franchise take over in such a way that they want to shovel in as many references, Easter eggs, etc. as possible and focus on what had already been done… to the detriment of creating a new experience. And that’s largely what you’ve done here. Do I love the idea of Cole seeing a video of Kessler wrestling with his guilt over what he’s forced to do for the Greater Good (TM)? Absolutely, yes. That’s a wonderful moment and the way you describe it is full of melancholy and a grim yet reassuring acceptance. But to get there you’re resurrecting Cole despite the perfect climactic end, the culmination of everything he is as a character and as a person, flying in the face of the established themes, all for a power fantasy that elevates one character at the expense of his successor. I’m not trying to knock what you’ve done here, it’s genuinely good stuff and I thoroughly enjoyed listened and fantasizing about it. It’s full of great moments I would love to see. However as an actual entry to the story I feel it falls flat as a larger, cohesive piece. The sum of the parts are not greater than the parts themselves, to wax poetic. All in all I think you did a really good job here, and as a fellow youtuber who makes videos about how I’d write and create my own video games I know better than most the sheer amount of effort, time, and dedication it takes, no matter how passionate you are for the material. Keep at it and you can make something really truly special, I see that potential in this work. Since this video was made over a year ago I’ll go look at your more recent videos to see how you’ve improved. :)
It did occur to me after hearing that the original developers intended for the evil playthrough to be the canon one, that instead of releasing a new game continuing the storyline the majority of the player base chose, they should have created a DLC that continued the evil ending and observed how people reacted to it. Most probably a lot of players wouldn't like it or appreciate it, since they hadn't chosen the evil playthrough first. But it might also inspire those players who dropped the game after one playthrough to go back and check out the evil playthrough in preparation.
This was honestly amazing the story telling was on point. I could imagine everything you were saying , you could just maybe touch it up a little bit and maybe you can send this to sucker punch. I’d happily play this Edit: I really don’t like the class system idea, I’d say just keep the quick select system.
Yeah but Delsin requires closure, Celia is still out there and for all we know since she was Augustines assassin per say would know about the First Sons and she states in PT she wants to wage war on normal people. Delsin needs to stop her and potentially Darpa.
What I like the most about role-playing games is that even when you know the story and the choices, when you think you have the story all figured out... You experience the game personally, in its full glory, and that's when your convictions are fully tested, making you realize that no, you don't have the story figured out. I am currently playing "Infamous 1" for the first time, I'm at hero karma (and let me tell you it wasn't easy getting there, since I'm constantly doing both evil and good karma choices, depending on which one is the most in lign with my beliefs), I'm at the mission in which I have to rescue Zeke from the Trash-Men...and my Cole is starting to consider the best way to inflict fear on his enemies, since it's clear the psycho posters and draining my enemies's lives isn't aren't working (which is weird, considering I did two evil karma missions in which I murdered cops without causing collateral damage and a revolted crowd that may or may not have been influenced by the Reapers into fighting me, reviving four in order to tell the story). My Cole was already afraid that Sasha's powers were being used to infiltrate members of both gangs among the civilians, but it's not like he could simply attack the population until someone revealed themselves a bad guy, especially since the recordings revealed that depending on his morality, his mutation would either twist or empower him. Well, Zeke's kidnapping was a warning. No more holding back. The worst part about all of this ? I don't feel like a dick doing this (not yet anyway). My goal was to get powers from both sides of the karmic spectrum after all. And there's plenty of enemies around for me to feast and suspicious people to oppress. I already got lots of good karma powers. Time to unlock some evil goodies as well.
I was genuinely shocked to see a video on Infamous in 2022, then I remembered that I instantly subbed to you initially because of your recap of the original trilogy a few weeks ago.

It still feels so weird to me when I hear people talking about the Infamous trilogy. Since to me, SS doesn't feel that much of a third installment

I love how this makes Second Son basically an origin spinoff for the final villain of the "main trilogy."

Ahh much like prototype🔥🔥🔥
It makes the morality system feel incredibly pointless though. Why give the player a good guy, bad guy choice if a few years later the company is just going to say either ending is canon. I get that is how it is already but still, it would have been nice if they took an approach more like the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series

I think something that could help with the 2 maps thing is that eventually Cole gets the ability to fast travel by basically tranforming completely into lightning, shooting into the sky and almost teleporting. So, even when hes doing stuff in Empire City, he could go back mid-game to clean up parts of new murrais... or something like that haha

It had gone over my head since I played mostly a hero in Second Son how amazing of a villain Delsin made, especially in the "Infamous" ending, albiet an edgy ending, I absolutely love how he's a conduit that absorbs other conduit's powers, and in said ending he says that when he releases everyone from prison he will "Shake each and every conduit's hands" that's an insanely sinister origin story for a villain, and easy to see why someone with a power like that would have it go to his head so quickly, and I actually lowkey hope that they make "Infamous" Delsin a canonical villain in a new Infamous game if it ever comes time for it.
hes an upgraded AFO since he doesnt depower those he absorbs from
With the evil DLC idea you could have the villain still be Delson, but in this timeline he’s the good guy. Becoming the underdog the player is in the main game as you effectively have an insane power trip as he attempts to use all the powers he’s acquired. Perhaps even having traps laid throughout the map hinting at the more desperate fighting tactics Delson has to employ to stand a chance against you
Just a thought, great video and I’ll enjoy watching your channel grow, with content like this it’s bound too
and at the ending you could have a final choice to demolish delsin or let him win so you would effectively have 4 endings for 1 game
Ironically, second son was originally gonna be set after infamous 2's evil ending.
I liked delson as the hero I would have liked to see delson and Cole work together seeing delson use new powers while also learning coles powers with Cole would be cool
Ok that would be so fucking awesome
Like, it could have a co-op mode and all
The only way that will ever happen is the evil ending

Okay I love this story for infamous. And I I totally understand why you didn’t incorporate the karma system. But what…just what if you keep this story and modify it through out to where certain parts. You can actually play as Delsin and see his side of the story From him being a villain. So you will switch through out the story between Cole and Delsin sorta like DMC. I think that would be so dope.
Could even have it so at the end you can chose whether or not to have Cole or Delsin be the winner, therefore retaining the option for a good or bad ending. - This is written prior to finishing the video, just in case the ending is similar.
So kinda like assassins creed syndicate with the fry twins
@@prodbyb0pk1ngMore like Injustice 2 or MK11's Aftermath DLC.

There's actually more reason for Delsin to switch to this clean energy. Its mentioned in a loading screen that Delsin uses environmentally friendly spray paint for tagging
I think there could be a karma system, the choices just being different.
This Cole would definitely be (canonically) a helpful person. So, give a choice of who he helps, and put a minor dialogue system in there, such as when I character asks “what are you going to do to them?” He can say “I’m going to bring them to Justice” or “I’m gonna get revenge for what they’ve done”
So, back to the helpful bit.
Mass Effects paragon and renegade system. Shephard is a hero, but hes either selfless or selfish with it
@@narutony1916 I’ve never played mass effect (the combat is weird to me tbh) but yeah, that’d be awesome.
In fact Delsin's final plan was to basically become the Beats 2.0
In a way this also makes the story of Cole come full circle because.
There are so many possibilities for infamous.
Infamous is one of my favorites series and in gonna be honest this sounds like a fucking banger of a game
Making the evil ending of second son cannon is so cool and makes Cole’s return feel warranted and needed to stop Delsin
Thank you for this. Infamous has always been my favorite game, and I'm glad to see a glimpse of what could be a cool storyline.
I love this and a lot of ideas and story points are, mostly, quite interesting. I do have two things I'd change:
Delsin being a pure evil antagonist which just feels absolutely bizarre.
Anyways, I look forward to future videos on the subject seeing what these reworkings look like. Also I really loved the Kesler call back.
I like these suggestions but i’m confused about the whole bomb blowing up the village thing. I was going off the evil ending of Second son where we see Delsin use his comet drop ability to destroy the Akomish longhouse and everyone in it so i’m not sure how that could be changed to him trying to save it.
@@overusedbruh Fair enough. Tbh it was a rather flimsy and ramshackled idea that even I recognize does sound a bit silly.
@@nopenopington2880 I like the idea of him not being so 1 dimensional a lot and that’s one thing I will change for the next one. Having him maybe framing the destruction of the Akomish on someone else could be interesting well so thanks for that idea.
@@overusedbruh Of course! I'm glad I helped some! Good luck and keep up the good work!
Why did they even change the voice actors?
@@croissant-bp8vi I think it had to do with SP needing someone who could do mo-cap for the cutscenes, something the first game didn't do. Don't really know why Cottle wasn't available for such, but I think Eric Ladin did alright.
sheesh this better not go unnoticed by the algorithm
Fr
It hasn’t
I really like the way you pointed out how much you love the infamous games and seeing someone love the games as much as I do makes me happy
That’s when you hear an explosion in the background while boat hoping, and Nix calling to say “That was laroach’s boat..”
So seeing him here was the only thing that really threw me for a loop.
I kinda see were people coming from, especially after that maniac conduit literally took over the United States
Cole: Oh great, so you saying no matter what i do, people will keep looking at conduits with bad eyes? that sounds about right
I loved this script, I like the fact that Delsin is the villain, since I don't see another option that can match the threat that Kessler and the beast were.
I was very skeptical when you started with making Delson the big bad but looking back it does work as your version of him lines up nicely by just having his own immaturity get the better if him
Also, BIG kudos for going the extra mile of laying out a plan for a COMPLETE revival with a few comics, remastering the old games, and the "What if?" DLC as what might be the most awesome good compromise for cutting the kinda middling morality system.
I first played infamous 2 when I was 12 Or 10 I’m now 15 and in highschool ☹️ and i was so glad to see this
Haven’t finished it yet but loving the story so far.
Crazy how they’re so similar in concept
this is the best way to end off the series, I so wish this could be a real game I'd love it so much
I already LOVE Riley as a character, If they ever make this into a real game I hope they keep Riley as close to the concept as possible
If it was just ''Delsin and Cole team up to fight bad guy' it'd basically just be Spider-Man 2 but infamous
However I do think making him less of a purely evil villain, I'm not entirely sure how but I think it'd add a lot to the story. Other than that, amazing idea!
I’m so happy to see that inFamous is still thought of in 2022 and to see someone create a way to finish the full story of inFamous
Someone from Insomniac get this guy a job today!!! What a impactful story!
I habitually play these games once a year, added this video to the end of the marathon as part of my tradition
One thing I am a little confused by if Delsin were to give his friends a city of their choosing
how come you didn’t include Eugene because he is able to become a darker version of himself just like fetch in Infamous Second Son.
As far as second hand Cecilia is perfect but I’ve been looking at other characters in the infamous franchise. I believe that Nix or Sasha
Would have been a good choice.
Pardon my grammatical errors if there are, English isn't my first language
XD)
-This point is kinda unavoidable as well but incase you may want to see if you can avoid it.. There were a couple moments which include the tutorial bit/ boat ride to new marais but other noteable moments that felt too similar to previous games.. I think working on a tutorial is good for new players and even old to see what the character can do but some bits felt too much like bits and pieces of all the games in one.. (Not saying its completely bad but felt too much a like at times..)
-I also think on Delsin's character, I doubt he would be a founder for a private military made up of old D.U.P agents..
XD
-I found a problem as well I just remembered, with Abigail 'Fetch' Walker I felt it was weird that she was taking drugs since she was actually killing drug dealers in Second Son and technically drugs had caused her to kill her brother Brent Walker..
XD
-Also a second one immediately after is also a nit pick but this is also based on logic.. XD
(I also know you mentioned that Cole wondered as I did but like I do want to know how it was in the most pristine condition..)
-Also Origami Ninja Army!.
XDD
I think the pure reason why it wasnt that successful to me was due to not the karma system but;
A) the company not having drive behind the story like they used to.
|
|
|
XD
The Karma betters the game making it feel like the world has impact to your decisions.. (Reason why I dont say that Cole would side with Delsin is because then the paths will be too different however I guess the ending for evil Karma can end with the option of sparing Delsin and making Delsin second in command..)
There is only limits if you make limits but when you remember that the story making can tend to have no limits then is when you are able to the unimagineable..
Capiche!?. XDD
-To the comment the game would be two games for the price of one, this is why I mention the dlc, that way its not two games for the price of one but one game with over excessive amounts of content however the game on standard only comes with it base foundation being the start of the story..
CX
Also incase those who sadly dont have internet and wouldnt be able to access the content then perhaps instead of just making it dlc that you have to buy online only but I remember on xbox there were very few games that had ever done this but you could buy versions that had dlc on a seperate disk that would only work when you play the game with the other game disk or you have a re-release of the game a year to a year and a half later where it has all the dlc's on disk with the game so then you wouldnt have to worry about buying them online..
CX
(Continued in reply..)
(I hope this makes sense but if it doesnt I am more than happy to reword everything I said and re-explain it..)
I just find it strange though if none of this the reason and Cole is able to take powers from any conduit why he is able to do this now of all times.. Is it because he used the rfi?. I dont know but I would like this to be looked at and either answered or reworked.. CX (Not saying you have to because its your idea.. CX)
-This one is major nick picking because its not liking the idea but Zeke leaving to be with his family..
XD)
-I like the idea of Cole bring himself back to life as well but like I want to say that it creates way too many problems for the story..
CX
However your ending makes it feel like the story is gonna end up cycling..
XDD)..*
*I am so so so so so so sorry for this reply being so so long.. I did not realise how long this reply was!. XC*
OnO
Also thanks for not getting annoyed, I tend to annoy people when making massive comments/replies.. (I actually think this may be my longest reply ever and for good reason to believe as well.. XD)
Also that does make sense as well to cutting somethings out to keep the video below a certain amount of time..
I also dont think the second act was completely bad, I think it just needs time and that time for it to be explained.. CX
Also no worries, I used to always create stories and characters with a friend for skyrim and found it very enjoyable so this was great and made me have a nostalgia trip.. CX
And if you somehow remember this comment and come back in 2 years then holy shhhhh my guy, what a memory!. XD
But never the less, when you do make the next video I will definitely watch it..
Everything just seems so god damn good
Update: finally finished this video and man this was still amazing.
I loved this! This series is amazing, and I loved how you actually took the time to create your own story and characters instead of just saying “Cole fights Delsin, that’s it”. Thank you ❤
[Spoilers for the video.]
(Story)
There's only 2 Issues I can find that bother me in the story.
(Gameplay)
I like your ideas of multiple classes with different specialties, though I do believe they could be streamlined to fit on a controller while mitigating or (hopefully) removing the need to do so entirely.
I do agree that Second Son had the best controls, though they did limit the number of abilities any given power could have (I believe it was 4 or so abilities given to each power). For the sake of maintaining simple controls and allowing for numerous abilities, I think a balance between Second Son and 2 would be preferred.
-Mobility
The glide is, as you said, useless unless you have the height advantage already.
-Dodging
While the dodge has stayed unchanged between 1 and 2, it frankly should after Second Son.
-Melee
Square is still for basic melee, although I'm unsure if the combo and finisher system should be brought over from 2. I think having square for a basic attack and holding Square for a strong attack with AOE would be better; it would also save Triangle for something else.
-Ranged
We still have the normal L2+R2 lightning bolt, specifically the one from the first game, a proper bolt.
(End)
Alright, I'm pretty sure that's everything, I'm sure I'll be reminded if it's not.
XDD
I am going through the video again to mention a few points since you wanted constructive criticism, I think a couple of things will be worth mention so brb I guess!. XD
You know... this is a good material for a novel. Perhaps you could write it on an internet fanfiction site?
I love that you're not fanboying for Cole and Zeke but instead respect them and treat them the way they deserve. Honestly, modern movie/game writers could learn a lot from this vid. Great job.
If infamous second son made cole sacrifice pointless why not revive him too with a lighting bolt XD. Every Infamous fan would love to play with cole again since 2 games are too short.
You miss KUO bring her back too
Someone mentioned infamous in 2022😱😱😱
Nostalgiaaaaa!!!
Subbed
you could make an anti-gravity conduit enemy controlling the air around them and slowing down the player and making it harder to jump and move with the pressure of the amp hurting the player
(Tho I'll admit that, if you had to kill Fetch and Eugene, him doing it with their own powers is a nice touch)
If he's gonna have a power boost at the end of the game, make it feel actually insane. Just sayin'
The point is, your story is nice, REALLY nice, but I personaly think should really aim to please BOTH fans next time, because as it is....
The DLC should be you playing as this Delsin and in some kind of way make him a hero again
Maybe make him fight a villain with Cole or smth
Yeah I mean if we're gonna acknowledge the existence of alternate timelines....
@@overusedbruh K that does make more sense
lol there are some things in my own fan sequel that are similar to yours; However I go a completely different route in terms of antagonist.
CX
I have subscribed and Hit the bell because your content is pretty gewd!. CX
Also I expect a return to this video in the further future and I want to be notified when you do that video..
Also I do want to say even though the story itself wasnt perfect and had a lot of plot holes, stories can take years with more years on top of that to develop.. You did good for the time you had to work on this video and you know its got me in the mood to return to my unfinished inFAMOUS Second Son + First Light sequel idea!. XD
Oh and I enjoyed how this video made me feel like I was interacting with it.. XD (If need be I can explain what I mean!. XD)
Good work on the video and cant wait to see more content from you.. CX
Thanks and i’m glad you enjoyed it, if you don’t mind me asking what specific plot holes are you referring to. I want to improve the story so having knowledge about what i may have missed will help a lot.
@@overusedbruh Oh wow, you are quick at replying.. OoO
Fortunately I am pretty sure I got most of the plot holes, I dont know if I missed some but unfortunately there also in like the massive comment that I had just sent.. XDD
Which I want to apologise for.. I did not realise how much I have typed and now I feel sad and angry all at myself for typing so much..
So... you want to remove the element of choice from the player and then make them *pay* for the option to choose?
As well forcing Delsin into the bad path removes player agency, it's still a pretty good story, just the execution creates a few unnecessary problems
Infamous Second Son literally forced Cole into the Good Ending, so I don't see it being all that different
To be honest it kinda hurts to see delson as the bad guy being that i went the good guy rouit but im still down for it im only at 18:49 but im loveing this so far
You should seriously pitch this to sucker punch if they ever give you the chance
The one thing id think would be really cool is takeing control as both Cole and Delson
Cole haveing the choices to be good and evil where the parts you play as Delson you dont get to choose it will really show how far gone he is giveing people a reason to want to fight the character they last played
Edit: ok I just past the part about not adding the karma system which is a bold choice but I do agree with what you said 100%
This vid just came out... Amazing. I really want a new infamous really bad.
Dude so glad to see another infamous fan tackle this. I love how the 2 games are brought together. I'm chopping away at it. I'll leave a comment when I'm done. Just glad to see some more infamous content! Loving it so far.
Lets make a petition to get sucker punch to make infamous 3 cole vs delsin would be badass bruh
Honestly I’m glad I got to play second son from PlayStation plus and it’s an amazing one story mixed with all the powers kept me hooked especially with the paths
Fam in my Opinion this is THE BEST Infamous fan comic EVER (or story, whatever you wanna call it) I was squealing with excitement when ugeen was introduced into the plot. when fetch mentioned Reggie, Goosebumps, just straight up goosebumps. I can't explane in words how GOOD this was and im 100% subscribing and coming back for when you upload the next part! And Please for the love of GOD don't give up with projects like this, You're way better then what you think you are! I JUST CANT GETOVER HIW COOL THIS WAS LIKE OMG !!!!!!!
In the second son they do mention/hint a lot of conduits with powers like glass, paper, and metal. Hopefully we’ll see it in second son 2
Developers did. Delsin was suppose to get Glass, and Fibers.

"outta my way lightning man"
After finishing the video, holy fucking shit, you created an art piece. HIRE THIS MAN PLEASE
I think you should add in a scene where Delsin has kidnapped Zekes twins and strung them up on 2 separate towers (like Kessler did with Trish) and use this as a callback that Delsin tries to break down Coles will to fight him in which case in a panicked rage cole unlocks a new ability maybe teleport (which in game could just be used as a fast travel tool) further I think if Zeke named his first son and daughter "Cole" and "Trish" it would be a good and wholesome moment for Cole and Zeke when they reunite
Further if the daughters name is Trish and the tower scene happens you could have it as a redemption for cole as right before the girl hits the ground he saves her in which redeems him for not being there in time for his love in the first game.
Very underrated my guy, good work
For the power ups instead of the whole thing, exploding just have the protective barrier explode so the city still has power afterwards
1:48:22 That really got a laugh out of me, nice job!
I’d happily play this
Edit: I really don’t like the class system idea, I’d say just keep the quick select system.
Yeah but Delsin requires closure, Celia is still out there and for all we know since she was Augustines assassin per say would know about the First Sons and she states in PT she wants to wage war on normal people. Delsin needs to stop her and potentially Darpa.
@@squallthegriever celia is dead bruh
This video made me think this was a recap of a game
