i have a cousin, he's the same age as me, we always get along and he's basically like a brother to me. we have the same age and height so he's like a twin to me. you can say he's my other half. but this year, around april, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. so he had to stay in the hospital. though i was surprised and shocked, i didnt think much of it, because i have hope for him. we live in a different state so i cant really visit him often, i can only pray for him. then around may, i finally get to visit him in the hospital. i felt really heart broken seeing him on the hospital bed, he can barely speak nor move. he can only move his legs, head and his right arm. so every evening, i'd visit him while im there. then comes the last day of me there. i get to hold his hand, we still get to joke around a little when we hand shaked. he did the finger thing while shaking my hand lmao. so there we are, holding onto eachother, i feel like i dont wanna let go and i know he dont too. but it's really time for me to go so i had to leave. as usual, i go to the airport, back home. then five days later, we got a news that he passed away. just as i thought i was already mentally prepared for this, i wasn't. i spent hours crying in my room, questioning myself, "is he really gone?". to this day, i still can't accept the fact that he's gone. i always feel like he's still with us. the day he passed is the day i feel like i just lost half of myself. i always look at pictures of us all together with the rest of my cousins. and hearing this song, makes me wanna cry even more. just a message to my cousin, thank you for being the best of the best. though im still upset that we cant go to college or university together, but i hope you're happy up there. we all love you. your friends, your family, everyone loves you
