So many break up songs are all about how the other part F'd up, or how they were no good anyway, or made the wrong choice leaving * singer *. This song is more genuine, pure, kind and loving. Like a man who actually loved someone, but sees how he made mistakes and learns from them. Someone who actually understands and wants what's best for another human being. I'm sad to say that feels refreshing, cause I rearly hear these songs anymore. There's no toxic bitterness. No focus on self pity. No throwing sh*t. Just reflection, love and work to move on in a better way for everyone involved.
