Wonderful video and nice technique. Thanks for highlighting the care of the fish
Thanks Chris. great information. Very well narrated to provide essential tips. I couldn’t see the dry or your leader on the water but that always seems difficult to get on camera. Was hoping to see some bow n arrow casts, but wasn’t necessary on those sections. Do you ever go to a shorter rod?
I fished that stream looking for Brookies but ended up catching wild rainbow lol ! 😅
If you're ever looking for company...
I hope you realize that the season is closed from march 15 to April 8 2023 ?
Are you being serious? You can fish WILD trout streams all year long! Also you can still fish for stocked trout in TCA Areas all year round they don’t close for in state stocking. Do your research
You know, I've been trying to find a stream in NJ with wild rainbows for years. I know of a few good ones for brookies, but nothing that's predominantly rainbows. Mind if I ask what county this was in? (I don't expect you to tell me the exact stream and I'm happy to do some bluelining experimentation to earn it)
I do a lot of Exploring and sometimes you find hidden gems that aren’t even listed in a map and are not in books. It’s hard and takes a lot of work but NJ has some nice water
Chris, nice fishing appetizer leading up to the start of another trout season. Thanks for sharing. See you soon buddy.
Thanks Ron
