That link bracelet seems to be overlooked by many compare to other options. Granted it is most expensive loop you can get from Apple. I lowkey think its absolutely fire and a worth investment as a jewelry one will probably wear for many years.
Nice I got the gold titanium hoping to pair it with the gold link bracelet. Only thing I wonder now is apple have changed the color of their gold watches every few years so I wonder if I’ll be able to wear the gold link as long as Oliur has been able to wear his black one or if a future apple watch will mismatch the color 🤔
Would’ve been tempted had they not made the bezels thicker on the series 10 compared to my series 9 and it takes up more space on my wrist. Also I hate that there’s no more steel, deffo keeping my Hermes S9
The original link bracelets were carbon coated, which is why the black one was $100 more than the silver one at the time. I would imagine this new black is not, because it is the same price as the others, and there is no mention of the carbon anywhere that I can find, so I would not expect the color coating to hold up as well as the old one. I've also been using the same link bracelet for around five years, no way I could use any other band. I bought mine used on ebay for $120, deal of the century. Got one for my dad as well earlier this year, and he loves it too.

I have an aluminum series 7, with cellular, which still works great, and I'm tempted to upgrade to the series 10 titanium, but I'm finding it hard to justify, as I put my series 7 next to a series 10, and the difference seems negligible, and so not worth the $700+ cost. Also, I just had my battery replaced on the series 7, as it was at 78% battery health after 3 years, and so would keep it as a backup.
I switched my 41mm 7 series stainless steel in Graphite (my favourite colour and goodbye) to this new 42mm in natural titanium. 1mm is a big leap for me, haha! I can't even handle 46mm. It is like wearing a clock! Love your review, as always!
The original space black link bracelet was DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated wich made it so robust with a hardness close to diamond. I dont know about the coating of the new slate colored link bracelet.
They've all been pretty indestructible. I think all black Apple Watches come with dlc coating. Have my s6 black titanium for 4 years now and it's basically flawless. Some micro scratches maybe where you have to look reeally close. Wasn't careful with it either.

The premium stainless steel and titanium ones always were very resilient. The sapphire glass won't ever scratch too.

Only if it had better battery life then I would’ve considered buying the titanium version over the aluminum jet black Series 10. I am very careful with my gadgets so I can tell ya my watch will look brand new after a year or two. But I get why people would buy the titanium model cause they look cool and are very durable.
Your video got me into getting a link bracelet myself! But I haven't been able to get it comfortable. It's either too tight or too loose. How do you have yours - a bit on the tighter end or looser? Can you slide a finger under the band when wearing it? Thanks!
Actually those resizing makes big difference on comfort. This made me getting series 10. I always hated how fat they where. Now it feels flat and sleeker.

got the glass/aluminium version and regret it heavily. the screen is full of scratches already. The worst part is that I've pretty much babysitted it the whole time, with the worst scenario having been the glass being in contact with my jacket....... my god I will get the sapphire version soon

This one is actually a downgrade. First black watch and link bracelet had DLC coating - it’s the toughest kind. In series 8 only hermes edition had DLC coating, and ordinary used inferior PVD. What we have now: entire series 10 is PVD. Also nee link bracelet is PVD, which means it will scratch and sheen much more easily. Apple only resorted to DLC in new ultra bracelet. Also new 42mm small is old 42 big. It’s a bummer apple stopped with 40mm - on your hand 42 is already too big. tldr; staying with my dlc hermes s8 with original black dlc link bracelet.
anyone has a jet black "standard" AW paired with the slate link bracelet? I wonder how "far of" the color is. As the internals of the S10 will age as quickly between the standard AW vs. the titanium one. So I'd perhaps opt for a jet black AW paired with the slate link bracelet but unsure about the color coordination between both and difficult to guess based on the generated images on Apple's website.
I mean .. even if they extend the batter life for like 5 hours, you still need to charge daily, no? Ultra 2 can last for like 2 days, and that’s the point. It doesn’t make sense to make a battery lasts 1.5 days. You gotta charge daily anyways

I would return it for the natural finish. For Series 10 , slate titanium is too similar to the polished aluminum jet black. If spending the money, the one to get is titanium natural finish. It's slightly darker than the stainless steel silver and it's looks niiiice. I think it's a shame they didn’t make a deep black option for the more expensive titanium model. I also preferred the band in Space Black
If you feel like to wear the normal watch, you can select the 42mm, if you feel like to wear sports watch you can select the 46mm.
By far the best unboxing I've seen of the Apple Watch Series 10 on TH-cam. I like the comparison to the Series 9 and the link bracelet.

We need a durability test fired the series 10. Will the black get scratched and reveal the raw colour underneath? Coming from a sport/activity angle
