Ukraine invasion - TANK crushes civilian car in Kyiv but driver is miraculously rescued alive

- A rampaging tank totally crushed a car and then reversed over it again in Kyiv.
The extraordinary footage has emerged amid clashes on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital during the Russian invasion.
Shocking video - understood to have been taken in the Obolon district, five miles form the city centre - shows the armoured vehicle moving erratically through the streets of Kyiv.
The lone tank is believed to be a Strela-10, a anti-aircraft vehicle used by both the Russian and Ukrainian armies.
And it is believed to have been driven by pro-Russian "saboteurs" - who also stole a military truck before they were killed by soldiers.
Terrified onlookers took videos of the tracked vehicle moving erratically as it drove over pavements and at one point seemingly lost control.
The rampage comes to a climax when the tank drives into a dark coloured sedan next to a tram track.
It then reverses over the car once again.
Footage as to what happened to the tank next is missing, but further videos and photos show onlookers rushing to the driver's aid.
Miraculously, the elderly man behind the wheel appears to have survived the ordeal as passersby attempt to free him using an axe.
Local esident Viktor Berbash, 58, said he ran out to his balcony after he heard shooting on Friday morning.

This absolutely disgusting. Every soldier that does harm to a citizen just because of their nationality, needs to be held accountable in the highest order. They will be judged in the end, but the people need to arrange the meeting.

The most horrible thing is that it wasn’t a Russian armored vehicle. Video was posted on Feb 25, military invasion started Feb 24. Today is March 28, there are still no Russian soldiers in Kyiv.
So, where was this from then? Have you wanted or cared to figure that out? Maybe we can work together to establish where and when this came from and being used as propaganda to the world?

@@romanscherbakov9561 Hello. I might be late but I just read this. It wasn't a lonely tank. There were soldiers fighting in that same street at the same time. I remember I saw this dramatic video of soldiers covering behing a military truck and then being killed. I later realized it was the same street. The events in this video happened before or after a confrontation between russians and ucranians.

That wasn't on purpose. I've driven the apc in question and that is fairly common thing to happen if you don't maintain your steering well enough. Hell this has happened to me too when I was just learning how to operate the vehicle. Only I hit a bush and not a car.

это не танк, а МТЛБ "Стрела-10". Это ЗРК, экипаж 3 человека. Ты просто не видел полное видео на 0:19 секунде поймай ролик не паузу.
На заднем плане за белыми минивенами стоит Урал военный. На нем ехали по той же дороге, где едет МТЛБ украинцы на этом самом Урале. Их приняли за русский десант и стали обстреливать свои же, Урал по прямой и заехал туда где стоит. Следом летел МТЛБ, стали и по нему лупить, мехвод видать разнервничался, и у него машина, что говорится "ушла", вот он и залетел на гражданского.
Это война, на войне иногда роты и батальоны своих уничтожают по ошибке. И да, похоже в том Урале всех свои же и перестреляли.
Есть видео в сети снятое с той стороны дороги, там всё хорошо видно.

As a driver with 23 years of experience and about 50,000 km per year, I have a suspicion of skidding according to the tracks on the road.

If you're in a military vehicle, any civilian car that's driving right towards you is likely a threat. Civilian vehicles tend to drive in the opposite direction. I bet you've never heard of a vehicle bomb.

I think it was an accident, he simply lost control of that tank.
It was the Ukrainian Strela-10 air defense system, it was mistakenly fired upon by Ukrainian militiamen who had recently been given weapons, so the driver lost control and ran into a car passing at that moment.
Not a russian drone but it seems that it was a ukranian unit since it does not have the usual russian symbols (Z,O,V) Could be rogue or captured by Russian.

@@solaroid4442 They were Russians who stole a Ukrainian tank and put on Ukrainian uniforms (if you use the "enhance" function in good video editing software, you'll see the Russians inside the Ukrainian tank are wearing Ukrainian uniforms on this video). This has also been independently confirmed by local eye-witnesses who could see the tank operators inside were Russians in Ukrainian uniforms.

To be honest that doesn't look like that's a Russian tank , that's a Strela-10 anti aircraft tank (1960s-70s Soviet ) that probably lost control used by the Ukrainians . Also an anti aircraft tank wouldn't be alone roaming city streets without support . There's more photos if you search the web that the tank stopped and the crew helped with an ambulance that came in to help
Plus Russian tanks are marked with a white capital Z on all their machines/tanks..

It is important to know that this was a Ukrainian tank that got out of control, it was not a Russian tank
The description of the video says it was Russian saboteurs, though I don't know what their source is for that. The vehicle definitely does lack Russian markings, so it wouldn't surprise me if this whole event was just be a freak accident. I'm glad the civilian driver survived.

Its ukrainian Strela-10, evading ukrainian fire. On the left side of the road is a destroyed Ural truck, which UA forces mistook for russian. Everybody in in that truck were killed. There is vid from a different perspective, too brutal for YT.
This is a Ukrainian tank "Strela 10", drunken soldiers arranged for several of them for a long time, they could not stop, they even fired pony from large-caliber machine guns.

This has been debunked already, the tank was Ukrainian, and it was not deliberate, it was an accident, I think the tank over shot the turn and obviously skidded into the car, you can see this at 0:04, and at 0:29 you can see where the tank came from, the skid marks on the road indicate that the tank came from the smaller road below the main road, you can see the obvious skid marks of the tight turn on the road at 0:04 and much better at 0:29, I've seen many tanks do this, because of the shear weight when a tank is going fast and it tries to turn, sometimes the weight can push all it's momentum forward regardless of where you want it to go, and the turning treads below act like sand guiding it towards the car, and because tank operators inherently have a very restricted view of what's in front of them in order to protect the passengers inside from enemy fire, whatever is in it's blind spots will be very hard to see until it's too late, I also read that this incident was an internal conflict with Ukrainian army personnel, the tank was part of a group of Ukrainian army soldiers chasing another Ukrainian soldier that stole an army truck and went rouge.

That wasn't on purpose. I've driven the apc in question and that is fairly common thing to happen if you don't maintain your steering well enough. Hell this has happened to me too when I was just learning how to operate the vehicle. Only I hit a bush and not a car.
