Then he had a whole bunch of them 3D printed for sale on eBay. A couple decades later, after he stopped making them, Kylo Ren would buy the last one thinking it was the real helmet.

It really doesn't make sense that they managed to escape. After the battle, the Rebel fleet would surround Endor to catch anyone trying to escape. Basic tactics. They can easily get full coverage.
That's a good idea. Stay tuned. The new Kylo Ren comic comes out in February and will see him visit Vader's castle, so I think it would be best to see how that series tackles it and if theres any new lore there! Then use that comic and the TROS novel together
I would have expected Vader's armor being made from a lightweight metal that wouldn't melt from a basic fire. This is what puzzled me about storm trooper armor being so weak that it can't protect it's user from one blast.
It's mass-produced protective gear, not Iron Man armour. It's only designed to help against the environment and glancing blows etc. And for Vader, while it is often called "armour", it's primary function is life support and cover/connection ports for his prosthetic limbs and other cybernetic medical replacements. Giving it some level of protective armouring might help, but it's not it's chief or sole purpose. Plus, it's important to remember that "plastic" materials in Star Wars are vastly superior to anything we have in real life.
@margaret4196 I had always thought Luke had told Ben what had happened to his grandfather and perhaps when he turned, he went to Endor and retrieved it.
I like this story! I'm an ot baby who didn't care for the new movies. However, I did and do like certain parts! And I feel like this is a good thing to tie together the old and new! I like they took a minute to explain how Pride felt! And I loved seeing young anakin's force ghost at the end of the video and movie!

Got a question if Vader’s armor could withstand lava then how could Luke burn it on Endor ? Just wondering because I thought one time Vader totally submerged himself in Lava . It might have been in the comic books
Vader has a vision in the 2015 comics where he remembers the fight with Obi-Wan on Mustafar. Obi-Wan throws Anakin into the lava and then Vader rises up out of it in his armor. But I don’t remember seeing any scenes where Vader actually goes into lava in the real world
In the last Star Wars movie, Emperor Palpatine came back to life. While watching this, I remembered that Palpatine was thrown down a very deep shaft. A tornado of light came back up, signifying that Palpatine was dead. Also, the Death Star blows up, pretty much destroying anything and everything on board. So, how does Palpatine come back to life? Even a clone needs some DNA to be formed from, correct? That storyline conflicts with common sense.
He already had been experimenting with cloning for years, which has been shown in The Bad Batch and the canon Darth Vader comics. The Rise of Skywalker novelization reveals that he DID die when Vader killed him, in the natural sense. He just sent his spirit into a clone body with the Force and he "survived" in a way, but the clone body on Exegol couldn't contain his power, and that's why he was decaying and rotting away, and he had to stay there for thirty years.
It’s shown in the canon comics that the lightsaber was recovered by the ugnaughts that worked the garbage in Cloud City. But we don’t know how Maz got it yet
Why would luke have just left his dads funeral pyre just sitting at a randon point in endor for anyone to find. He would have at least spread the ashes and disposed of what was left of vaders armor?? Doesnt make a lot of sense to me
The problem I have always had with the Vader mask in The Force Awakens is that Vader was burned on the pyre while wearing his armor, (including his helmet). The problem with what the charred helmet in The Force Awakens is a relic that can't exist. The helmet housed Vader's skull but the mask itself is fused to his skull. So what the stormtrooper here is holding Vader's charred skull (which is inside the fused together mask). Is everyone just carrying around Vader's charred skull and brains that are still inside the burned and shrunken (hence fused) mask? Somehow his brains and skull were burned to powder, yet the mask remains. Is this a side effect of the Dark Side of the Force or an error in script writing?
Come on... . So was this lore added before or after Disney had overtaken the franchise... : A female Stormtrooper... . LOL. What's next? A Java-Stormtrooper? Or an evil Ewok-Stormtrooper? ... I can't take parts of the Star Wars Lore serious. But back then it had been fun. Since Disney it isn't for the most part.
Yes! He thought Vader stayed on the Death Star with the Emperor I guess, since the story makes it a point to mention a couple times that Pryde thought Vader was definitely NOT on Endor
if the said fire was so hot, wouldnt of that mask have been melted into nothing? and what about Anakin's head/skull. wouldnt that have been still inside? just curious questions...
Yeah so much respect Luke just left that there on the ground so the ewaks and the wild life could pick through his fathers remains. Another hit to Lukes character. Your telling of it though was great. Just dont agree with "Disney's Canon" But they had to make there movies make since.
That IS a pretty cool story. That said, I liked SW more when you didn't have to read a minimum of 2 books for each film or watch seven seasons of exposition animation to round-out poorly written characters or figure out just how in the hell we went from Empire = Dead to "Hey, we're back"! And with some jank-ass nobody leading the whole thing. Those movies are god-awful. And the point REALLY gets driven home if you elect to watch a holiday marathon. Going from the end of 'Jedi' directly to Epi 7 is like going out to eat and the waiter puts a bowl of warm cat-vomit in front of you. Just ...terrible. No excuse can be made.
Then he had a whole bunch of them 3D printed for sale on eBay. A couple decades later, after he stopped making them, Kylo Ren would buy the last one thinking it was the real helmet.
Now, every Fan Boy is willing to pay top dollar for their very own melted Vader helmet. 😁

There is no explaining the Disney sequels; they make no sense. A travesty of Biff's alternative timeline.
"Look sir, Darth Vader's helmet"
I wonder if you can do a video of how Kylo Ren visited Vader’s castle on Mustafar which was shown during the opening of Episode IX

As usual, awesome video! This story explains one of my top questions. I wondered how Kylo had it. Thanks for covering this!
Yeah, since Pryde knew where it was, we can assume that the imperials salvaged everything from Endor eventually!

I think he walked in lava using droid parts for his legs. Part of his survival match against the bounty hunters after Palpatine plucked off his limbs.

So what did become of Vaders lightsaber?
@markomalley3282 I would assume that is exploded with the Death Star II. Perhapes thrown clear as it exploded.
In canon it was recovered by the cult The Acolytes of the Beyond, they worshipped the dark side and wanted to burn the lightsaber for Vader
Thank you. I have to read those books.
Enjoyable video. Thank Ya
Related to this, how did Luke/Anakins lightsaber make it from cloud city to Maz? Is that explained anywhere

I didn't see this on the official list of Canon for the franchise.
