Next time look for a big bowl to knead the dough....That bowl you are using is too small,as you can see your dough are much...

You Can use eggs and banking powder but no need to knead the dough that much. For more softness you can use cold butter milk instead of butter or margarine

Your dough seems to be too thick not flat enough before adding filling. Can you pls explain why?.

Regular flour
Milk is goid too
Why do you use baking powder and eggs in your pie?
Baking powder helps with texture while egg helps the entire mixture to bind.
