This is what the Chinese authorities say about Tibet. This map does not include the entire Tibet, nor does the Dalai Lama's hometown.
I don't. First, this is not an anthem that fits sovereign nation. This anthem would be good for a feudal kingdom, but not for a modern country. Second, while chinese colonisation of Tibet is indeed bad, years of free Tibet were also not pretty. It was a feudal kingdom, where lords imposed on serfs incredibly high taxes and barbaric punishments like gouging out tongues or eyes were commonly practised. Not to mention that it was a literal undemocratic theocracy. For the records, I don't say chinese colonisation of Tibet is for this reason justifiable in any way. This is the same argument UK and France used in the 19th century to justify colonisation of Asia and Africa. What I'm saying is pre-communist Tibet was an awful place to live and we should move on from it.

I have read that the Pala empire of Bengal had influenced Tibetan Buddhism a lot, and Pala literature is referenced in Tibetan literature as well. Being a Bengali, I can't help not noticing the similarity of Bengali alphabets and the Tibetan alphabets looking at the subtitle. Of course, I suppose there are other influences as well along with the Tibet's own indegenous ones. Respect Tibet from India.

In my OPINION, there are more than enough anthems out there that, although beautiful in their own ways, wish for the destruction of others and/or invite the people to swear unconditional loyalty to their countries. I only have issues with UNCRITICAL nationalism and other things like that, not with the idea of belonging to specific groups. Humans are social beings. @@NguyenTran-mf9gj the Chinese military have stronger, and more advanced weapons than the Tibetan military, therefore if we tried fighting it would've ended in a bloodbath, with Tibet losing more lives. We know that it will be extremely difficult to free ourselves from china, but the main thing we want is or culture to stay alive, and not die. That is our main goal, knowing it will be close to impossible to be completely free. all we want is that and that alone.

I have read that the Pala empire of Bengal had influenced Tibetan Buddhism a lot, and Pala literature is referenced in Tibetan literature as well. Being a Bengali, I can't help not noticing the similarity of Bengali alphabets and the Tibetan alphabets looking at the subtitle. Of course, I suppose there are other influences as well along with the Tibet's own indegenous ones.

I love this. This is the most soothing, heart warming, soul dwelling anthem ever. This gives me so much nostalgia for some reason, but this makes me feel happy and comforted. I love Gyallu.
This is one of my favorite anthems ever, if not my favorite. It's the only one I know that wishes that all beings, without exception, receive wisdom and compassion. In my OPINION, there are more than enough anthems out there that, although beautiful in their own ways, wish for the destruction of others and/or invite the people to swear unconditional loyalty to their countries.
DISCLAIMER
Before anyone attacks me for criticizing having loyalty for countries, let me clarify things: I'm NOT saying that one shouldn't care at all for their own motherlands, cultures or communities. I only have issues with UNCRITICAL nationalism and other things like that, not with the idea of belonging to specific groups. Humans are social beings. In general, we HAVE to feel that we belong (more or less strongly) to some group, lest we fall into depression. But we also have to acknowledge that tradition is not always right, because it's created and transmitted by people, and people make mistakes.
Such a relaxing anthem. I wish it had a country to go with it.
