- Sung by Han Lei, composed by Qi Jianbo, and with lyrics written by Fan Xiaobin, "The Vast Heaven and Earth" (浩浩乾坤), serves as the opening to the first episode of "The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom" (太平天国), a Chinese historical TV epic released in 2000.
The series tells the legendary story of Hong Xiuquan, the self-proclaimed brother of Jesus Christ who lead a revolutionary force, established a theocratic absolute monarchy in China, and started the deadliest civil war in world history.
The map shows the provinces and territories controlled by the Taiping rebels, along with the banner that was flown in the kingdom.

Small note here: the verses “one breath of life, rare to fight once” is meant to imply that people could only live once, and that it is hard, if not impossible to get it back. Correct me if I was wrong, but I think this means that we should cherish every moment in our lives, as it was implied in the next verses: “a road to life and death (which is more accurately defined as there is only one road in life) a glass of wine (which is more accurately defined as raise up the glass of wine - as a celebration)
The lyrics themselves are "wounds that bleed do not shed tears, flagpoles that stand do not kneel; the clenched fist shall not let go, us pawns, even in peril, would never retreat. All live for their honour, it's time to give fight once; the path is one in life and death, a toast to our union and martyrdom! (repeat) How come history be so cruel as to name the triumphant great and the defeated despicable? Mighty heaven and earth shall celebrate our deeds."
For those of you who speaks other languages and/or are confused by the subtitle, here's another interpretation for it.

Cause there's always some mods that try to roughly recreate Victoria 2 for some reason and I think there was a way to make it with one of the formable nations mods (my best guess would be form Chinese empire and go communist, but I don't care enough to attempt it now, especially with there being 6 or 7 mods trying to expand on the original which I can't tell apart anymore)
