Mine just got done building. Just waiting for it to get here hopefully next week
Congrats on the awesome SUV!
Which color did you order?
My dad and I test drove one of these and it’s awesome, we don’t need the power tho so a 40i will be better for us (he’s getting one with all the options later this year)
That’s great!! You guys will definitely enjoy it!!!
@@sebastianmiller4632 yup, it's an awesome SUV for sure!
Beautiful X5!
Is the M badge on the side doors standard on all builds or only those built in Europe? Waiting on mine to start production and was told the badge is only in the grill thx
It would be interesting if you do a comparison between this and the M competition
Good stuff Ben, just subscribed. Enjoy the content! Looking to buy maybe x5/x6, RRSport, or GLE53 end of the year, what do you recommend?
This or a GLE580? Which do you think would be better long term?
Waiting for my build to start production! Question...the models I saw on the floor in TN do not have the M badge on side doors the way yours does in this video. I was told it's only for the European builds is this true? I think mine is being build in SC thanks!
OK I've had one of these vehicles for about two weeks now. Coming from a 2021 X3 M 40. Mine is equipped with the air suspension. At first, I wish I had never gotten it. Now I'm starting to get used to it and actually really like it. It all depends on your road conditions. I live in a place where the roads are fairly good. Though there is a lot of construction and that air suspension in comfort mode really takes the edge off. I do wish BMW would offer an update where in Sport Plus the suspension could be stiffer. Seems that's where Porsche really shines.
I personally think the adaptive M suspension is a better choice than air suspension for the X5, the adaptive M suspension rides just as good as the air suspension in normal mode (although it does get stiffer than the air suspension in sport/sport+ modes which I actually like) while having superior handling to the air suspension in all driving modes, only benefit of air suspension in a X5 is height adjustability but I’d rather not compromise handling and reliability, my dad is getting a 2025 X5 40i M Sport fully loaded later this year (which will have the adaptive M suspension), I’m guessing your X5 is either a 40i Luxury Line or 50e (all 50es have air suspension)
@@CarGeek360 no it’s an M60i. Has air ride. I’m actually ok with it now as I said. If I could do it over, I would put the M suspension on though!
@@mr.t8369 I see, I wonder if the M60i with air ride handles better than the 40i Luxury Line with air ride bc I can’t imagine the M60i with air ride having worse handling than the M60i without it
@@CarGeek360 so to give you a bit of my path… I initially purchased a 50 E but could not stand it and traded it back in for the M-60 I. They had one on there lot with the loaded spec I wanted. The 60i def handles better but I still think the adaptive M suspension would be better. Quite honestly, I have not driven one with it.
@@mr.t8369 I see, I would stick to the adaptive M suspension personally, it rides just as good and handles better, you can’t go wrong with any new X5 tho
Cool car for a BMW built a fantastic car love it
I like everything except the AC CONTROLS and the ubiquitous rear wiper.
This car checks off every option available except nappa leather, which isn't important anymore considering the sensafin is high quality and probably more durable as well as less prone to dirt and often maintenance. Nice car.👍
I think the option is Extended Marino leather.
30mm side wall tire isn’t for me
Agreed fully, low-profile tires go flat easily on bad roads, an X5 with 20s is perfect tho (you get a thick tire), also if you get 20s on the X5 you get to rotate your tires which saves money but if you have 21s or 22s the tires can’t be rotated, my dad is getting a fully loaded X5 soon and we 100% want 20 inch wheels, the dealer advised against going with the 21s or 22s
Lease a 2022 m550i and own a limited edition 2022 vermillion black edition X5…having both the V6 and V8…while the V8 sounds great, so does the V6 in it’s own way and the V6 still pushes the X5 to 60 in under 5 seconds. M550i goes back in December and Cyberbeast should be in by then 😎
X5 M60 or X7 40i for a cheaper price ... I gotta go with the x7.
X7 def has some luxury touches over the X5 but the X5 is sportier, my dad cross-shopped both and will be getting a fully loaded X5 40i M Sport later this year
Still miss my X5 M50i. Worst trade decision ever, for no reason. Want it back, everyday.
What did you trade for ?
@@augustusoakes4671 LX600 F Sport, that for a more expensive, bigger heavier truck, was miserable in every way, aside from resale, that helped get out of it 3 months later.
Ben review a Nissan Versa
Nice beard.
X5M or X5m60i ?
109k….😂😂😂😂😂😂
And worth every damn penny. How do I know? I own one.
