if you're going to buy a mk8st, get a better rear motor mount as your first upgrade, will cancel out the wheelhop which is ridiculous with the stock mount.
@@PocketRockets true, but atleast u can improve it from factory. best is to simply not do it. have done it 4 times now, 2 times when stock and 2 times with mountune package. got to admit that it is fun, but just feels so bad for the car.

@chrisaustin6434 In my experience, no solely because of the reputation/relationship Ford and Mountune had for 10+ years providing warranty approved tuning solutions on the Mk6/Mk7 Fiesta and Focus ST/RS platforms However, Ford pulled the program from Mountune a few years ago so officially if you map the car it "voids" the warranty but when I had my Mk3 Focus RS I had the M380 kit put on directly after running it in - put 20k on it and the enviable engine failure happened and had the engine replaced under warranty They all knew it had Mountune kit on and still went ahead with the work FoC I'd speak to the chaps at Mountune HQ in Essex, ask for Scott Wheeler and tell him I sent you; he'll answer all your questions 👍🏼
Ford implemented flat shifting, launch control and other features to do this What's your point? A clutch will eventually fail regardless to how you drive it, of course doing this all the time will limit the lifespan of it but in reality launching an FWD car continuously is pointless
It sounds like I'm hitting the limiter but it's just flat foot shifting helps minimise the time lost between shifts It's hard to get optimal times in a FWD car but I'm impressed to get the times I did as I never get near to FWD manufacturer claimed times usually Thanks for watching Paul!
The fiesta ST has become very expensive. I have a 2022 Puma ST with pan roof and upgrade paint, I paid £28400 on the road.To price a fiesta ST to the same spec (no option on Ford's site for pan roof) still came in over £28000, not much in it. The pan roof is an additional £1000. There was about £3000 difference earlier this year?

What's your point?

Just put a revo stage 1 on a st mk8 and it much quicker
I probably would, but it's not my car - don't think Ford UK would like that idea 🙈🤣
