Justin Wilson is why I got into cooking. When I was a little kid, I wouldn't miss his show! The world needs more real characters like him showing folks how to cook.
PBS in the Pacific Northwest didn't air this program, I suppose because the programming department didn't think we'd appreciate or understand it, but having NEVER seen this show or this cook before, it feels like I've walked through a time machine to a simpler time with a very good old friend. I love it!
I remember watching this show with my dad when I was younger. Brings back good memories. I hope yall bring all of his episodes back. Thank you for the memories and wisdom of a great cook.
It depends on the size of your pan or baking dish, a small dish maybe six baskets of blueberries, a large casserole dish maybe 12 baskets of berries or a few more
Have you ever actually eaten it or you don't like the thought of it? If someone cooked it correctly and you tried it wo knowing what it was I doubt you'd say that. I was the same way at first.
@@jlarmstrong2 I've tried it twice... And had it served to me as a "secret" once... And all 3 times it was disgusting. There's nothing you can do to a turtle to make it edible for me.
@@joeytomato oh ok, fair enough. The turtle I've had was delicious, esp the fried nuggets of meat. There are several different cuts that are similar to white and dark meat chicken but I don't know enough about which ones are better to eat vs other species/regions etc

Best Blueberry cobbler recipe I've ever tried.
Most of these episodes I actually remember with the exception of 2 or 3. Ahhh, the 90's, a simpler place and time.

Mr Justin I love 💕 🐢 turtle soup so I know I would turtle stew, but as I said my family is from VillePlatte LA
That pot for the stew is probably the old version of pressure cooker, heavy and no steam escapes. Would like to have one.
I learned a lot from this show. Back in the days😃
I like the cobbler recipe for blueberries how many blueberries do you use in there how many pounds
