    That’s a steal! I feel like these will be a huge seller once word gets out, especially to the tiny boat community.

    Boatstogo should have an option to have these pre installed on new boats they sell.

    Are the lifting tabs compatible with brocraft Transom Wheels and bracket? I remember one of your boats had it. And the tabs used in the video those are the 6" small tabs?

      As for the pins, it is likely. The spacing of the holes will be a different story

    Brilliant. Get on plain faster, must mean get on plane w/smaller motor?

      @@ErickMartinSucre maybe next weekend I'll have time to find out. I bought the Bris 14.1. And I took your advice and bought the Tohatsu 6hp. I got a Honda 5 long I can barrow of the sailboat and I got 3.6 Hangki. So we'll find out.
      I know the Hangki 3.6 would not plain, that is why I bought the Tohatsu 6.

      @@tinfingers2870 but why Bris??? Why not Saturn??? Just what made you choose more expensive Bris over less expensive, and more well built Saturn.

    • @tinfingers2870
      @tinfingers2870 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@inflatableboats when I bought my Bris it was the same price as the 11ft Saturn. It had 17 inch tubs and my thinking was 14.1 would be more effective in the surf.
      However mine is a kayak so the transom is thinner. The motor won't turn without interfering with the transom wheels in the up position so the wheels have to come off. Mine is less stable as well going over larger wakes because more often than not you cross them at an angle. Also if you're running from Big surf and you are trying to get past the break you often are crossing the waves at an angle.
      In hindsight nobody's perfect. You're right I wish I would have bought the Saturn 11 ft. I also wish I wouldn't have bought the Hangki 3.6.
      But the Saturn now is only 599 so I'm thinking what good is 2 motors with one boat?

  • @sldrose
    @sldrose 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Hi Erick,
    Does that motor have a hydrofoil on it?
    What’s better the tabs or the hydrofoil?

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on your boat model. Some boats catch plane quickly due to their design, the same applies to boats that do not. If you struggle a lot to catch plane, tabs will be there best, of its just a little bit, the hydrofoil.

    What are the plastic bars on the bottom of my Saturn SD330W? When I was trying to put the wheels on, the bars on the bottom inside transom were in the way. What are they used for?
    Thanks! Love your videos

    • @emorydeloach6236

      @@ErickMartinSucre it’s the two plastic bars on the bottom of transom(inside boat). Left and right of drain valve.

      Another question, what’s the best way to attach a flag on transom without drilling holes? I want to put a flag on transom. Been looking at clamp mechanisms that will have an attachment to hold small aluminum flag pole.

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @emorydeloach6236 I have never done that so I would not know. You could install a fish rod holder and maybe use it to place a flag on it. You can glue it on the rear bladder, or maybe straight into the transom. Those are the only ideas I can think of.

    Do you have a handle in front of the boat?

    • @ErickMartinSucre

      This model does. A metal one to be exact. Some models don't have it, like my SK385xl. That one use a rope instead.

    Thanks for the video, very convincing solution for my new ZK 380 planing problem. Question: what height do you mount the planing tabs in proximity to the bottom of the transom? Flush or slightly higher, let's say half or 1 in? The mounting instructions provide no specifics in this regard and I didn't hear you say that in the video - thanks!

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Surprisingly, it aligns with the rubber seams at the bottom, near perfect fit

    • @Motorhead-hm5jq
      @Motorhead-hm5jq 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ErickMartinSucre I guess you're referring to the bottom of the mounting bracket touching the top of the PVC floor seam that wraps around the transom?

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Motorhead-hm5jq correct. The moment you place the bracket, it aligns perfectly

    • @Motorhead-hm5jq
      @Motorhead-hm5jq 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ErickMartinSucre I noticed the top of your bracket was mounted on the transom as high as you could get it underneath the rubber that wraps around the top. Because these boats are basically handmade there are differences I guess and the PVC floor on mine wraps around the transom a little more than yours, about 3/4 of an inch higher causing my bracket to overlap it. So I suppose upper positioning is probably more consistent. One more question: did you mount your bracket square with the transom or did you angle them in alignment with the bottom? These boats are actually a semi-V hull - just trying to get it right!

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Motorhead-hm5jq The lip that sticks out at the top of the transom stops the bracket in place, at least it did to me.

    영상 도움이 많이 되네요 , 한국인데 이전에 12hp 구매 했어요 . 12hp 첫영상에 오일 넣는 부분은? 꼭 필요한가요? 어떤걸 사서 해야할까요?

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      혼합물은 25:1이어야 하며, 이는 휘발유 1갤런당 2행정 오일 5온스입니다. 처음 10시간 동안 이 혼합물을 사용하여 엔진을 작동합니다. 그 후에는 50:1의 혼합물, 휘발유 1갤런당 2.5온스의 2행정 오일을 사용합니다.
