I haven't been in the caves or that area in over 20 years and as far as I can tell nothing has changed. Thanks for the chance to take another look. Love your pooch too.
My husband took his W900 in the caves many times and then the largest Freightliner they make and never hit the wall. He’s 80 now and I’d bet he can still do it. He was one great trucker. You did good too
Damn Kurt, those caves are whoa!!, I've been to some very tight spots but they take the cake nice job, like always see you next time, first class looks great, keep truckin up,whoop- whoop!!
Aeromycin crumbles is used as part of a feed ration for a wide range of animals. It's used to treat bacterial and viral diseases (respiratory) and can be used in certain animals to help with feed efficiency (weight gain).
Been in that cave and in the caves in Joplin MO. One of caves in the KC area and the columns were not square cut at the top and most of the lights were out and rails running through. Got to receiver and no lights and had to blind side in. This cave was used for ammo storage in WW 2. The road snaked around not straight.
I just loved the way Opie looked up at you So loving ❤!!! Just like he was saying I Trust you dad let's do the caves!!! Never been in the caves and don't intend on going!!! Do Frist Class the way you want!!! She'll look 👀 Fine!!! Be safe out there Brother Peace
That place looks insane. Neat but insane. I was getting claustrophobic. You did a very fine piece of driving (at least from what you showed us)! The truck looks much better without those lights. I can't wait to see what you have in mind come together. Safe travels and God bless.
First Class looking awesome! Loved watching the cave footage! I would love to go in the caves but my anxiety with tight spots... probably wouldn't be good! Lol. Opie seemed to like whatever kind of treat that was, maybe he needs more 😉😉.
You lucked out and got a double with nobody else in the other bay. Lots of fun getting lost in there. That and dropping trailers off at the RR Intermodal yards are what fun is all about. Especially with a road tractor and a 53' dry van.
Sounds great filters not so bad I used to haul grain you have such a nice ride stay safe lights on fenders and top is a KW thing what ever you like and works best with safety above all
Love the look without those nasty lights, looks way cleaner. I think you gotta go round on the fender personally. Opie seems in less of a funk today! Love you Kurt, Sarah, Paige, Troy, Opie, Jacks
That's wild. Freeky. Good job. I dont know if I could go down there. I'm extremely claustrophobic. Whew! Years ago I got caved in on hand digging tunnel for duct run In St. Louis.
Great video again. The "caves" remind me of a huge underground parking garage. They are fine for a smaller truck or car, but that is pushing the limit. Those pipes on the ceiling came pretty close to the top of the trailer. Kind of scary if you ask me. But you did it like "A BOSS" ..
when i was in the caves i always pictured, if i hit one of those supports it would cave in, so i made sure to take as much room as i could to make turns and backing into the docks, and like he says, i didn't use mirrors, but i did get out of the truck to look, when backing up.
OMG Kurt I would've been hyperventilating I have a hard time doing parking garages. Took my exs truck in 1 and the 1st time the antenna hit the beam I was done. Creds to u
The caves are a unique space I never had issues with them, the Steel mills in Gary you had to drive thru to the Tarping spot that was tighter then tight, being in the caves for a while your eyes get used to that and when you go back outside its like YAAAAA, Youll never have enough Chicken lights till the Planes confuse your truck for the runway....
Been in those very caves, driving for Hill Bros.just like the truck you filmed going in there except I didn't have a day cab.i once told my dispatcher I couldn't go in the caves because I had a phobia against it and it freaks me out he said ,bullshit, you ve been in there many times before.i said I know, just jacking with you.lol
There are so many caves around here in KC by worlds of fun 23rd and 435 Truman and 435, 291 highway where your at even some downtown area of KC off of 31st
Hi Kurt! Andy the Kenworth guy did a video of a truck where he put new turn signal lights on was a kw emblem with watermelon lights. I think he said they where made by Shift products.
I always loved going in federal reserve banks. So tight inside but loved being under those huge underground. I drove a spotter for a few years. Helped with those gotta lean out the back to see. If I was still driving I d put a rear view camera. Especially panning. I love 900’s way better that T-800, just love.
It's kinda funny you said that about the W900, because When I first started driving, that's what I learned to drive, I think it was my second or third load out with my trainer, they sent us there, and my trainer says oh boy your in for a treat
I bet they needed that merchandise at the other dock so they got you to take it over there. 😱😱 Anyway, Opie looked so sophisticated sitting in the #2 seat. I think I heard him say "What's the deal? I get through these caves no prob. I just follow nose" Safe travels you two.
Kurt now you need to replace your headlights with LED'S AND DO THE SAME WITH THE REST OF ALL YOUR LIGHTS you'll be able to see better at night & in the fog do all your clearance lights the same way you'll be much happier
Looking good... just a personal opinion but, if you do the watermelon lights I would stick with round lights on the fenders. Opie seems to be in better spirits. It even looked at the end of the video like he was looking up the steps to get in but the door was closed. Drive safe and I'll look forward to the next video...
That cave reminded me of the 7500' diesel shop at the Kidd Creek mine, at Timmins Canada, btw that shop can be driven from surface to the 9600' level, the longest continual mining ramp in the world.
Far out Kurt, first time I was there, no one from dispatch informed that this place is under ground. But the people at there S/ R office gave me good advice on to navigate in the caves. Look like you did well in those caves. Please get Opie a cheeseburger he looks like something is missing in his life. Keep her heavily loaded and well balanced. Be safe!!!!
Hi Kurt. Hi Opie. Great vlog. I stopped at that truck stop when I was running a KC route many moons back. I had such a headache that I went in bought a bottle of Tylenol. Took 2 & layed across the seats & dog house of the Mack COE straight truck that I was driving. Woke up 2 hours later a new man. How long was it since you changed your air filters? Holy moly they were dirty. I have a buddy that works in the caves. We have been buddies since the '80's. I think Opie was a little off with his schedule when you were off healing. He kinda wants 2 stay home but once he gets on the road he loves being with you. He is such a good dog. I loved when he was right down there with you. He was worried about you. I saw his tail wagging in the chrome when you asked him what was wrong. I think those watermelon lights will look great. Thank you for taking us along. Sorry so long. Have a blessed night. 💕🙏🏼⛟🇺🇸
That does look better and the watermelon lights would look cool lot more cleaner can't wait for you to put the on and see how awesome they look stay safe out there
Porter greetings! 🇺🇸 I know a cabover should fit in those caves, but it would look like you’re gonna ram the wall or something, I’m sure. Good trip! Hey, I like the watermelon lights. Im seeing more and more trucks with them on. I like the colored lights, amber or red as well. I love being able to see or be seen, so it’s good to have plenty of lights! Glad you had the filters ready. Opie seemed to come around as well. Keep on Truckin! 🥰😎✌️
I've been in those caves there where ur at Kurt back in the early 80's I hauled produce for a minute I think I went down 3 or 4 levels hauled mushrooms out of there it was a neat experience
I haven't been in the caves or that area in over 20 years and as far as I can tell nothing has changed. Thanks for the chance to take another look. Love your pooch too.

So did POPS
Hmm! That's right old school driver gets it done! #keepontruckin 😉🇺🇸👍🏼
Some caves are nicer than others
Damn Kurt, those caves are whoa!!, I've been to some very tight spots but they take the cake nice job, like always see you next time, first class looks great, keep truckin up,whoop- whoop!!
That blue sky and green grass looked amazing after being down there!
Been a diesel mechanic is a hard knock life bro . Just as is been a truck driver. We both keep this wonderful country moving.
I couldn't do it, wrenching on these things has to be hard as hell at times.
Hi Schmidt.good to see you and Opie,I agree with you patience is needed there in the caves.love from Saudia Arabia Jeddah city.
I love that roof look, I think you should do that more often. Love hearing the engine roar!
Agreed!
Amazing as always thanks. God bless you
Nice turn by you Kurt. The caves were not designed for 53 foot trailers and long nose tractors were they?
I would get so lost down there, truck sounds great by the way..
That's some awesome footage in the caves. Opie look like he was enjoying it too
I would love going in the caves. It would be interesting to know were the caves go. Great Video. Drive Safe. Opie keep him in line.
Hello Kurt, i like the top view greet video sea you with the new lights
Caves are cool! Love the plan for the lights, First Class will shine even brighter. Can't wait to see where your headed next!
Well done in the caves. About the lights just draw it ,make the plans as to where you want them, and go and do it after all it is your Truck. Aussie.
Aeromycin crumbles is used as part of a feed ration for a wide range of animals. It's used to treat bacterial and viral diseases (respiratory) and can be used in certain animals to help with feed efficiency (weight gain).
Latest in the news, cows can get covid too.. Beef is gonna skyrocket in price.
Aww thanks for the intel
Those caves are a story in there selves, amazing, good job navigating them . Good work on you light removal, less air restriction.👍👍😊
I love the caves!!! We like the truck with out the lights. Glad Opie is feeling better, thank you for sharing your day with us 😊🐠🐹🦂🐕🦺🐾🦮
thanks for getting rid of the clutter
That doggie sure loves his papa.
Opie is probably even like what the hell is this place dad !!! 😆
Imma a prospect for the trucking industry! I can’t wait
Hope Sir Opie is feeling better! He loves his Dad, wants to be sure all is well! Safe travels!

Welcome to KC/Independence! Safe travels to you.
Did the caves many times, tight but doable. Had to do two one day the other driver didn't do caves, worked out.
Charlie

Super video. Opie is an good co driver.👍👍👍👍🇩🇪
First Class looking awesome! Loved watching the cave footage! I would love to go in the caves but my anxiety with tight spots... probably wouldn't be good! Lol.

The small button lights a cool, bright too....
You were in my neck of the woods! I’m in Grain Valley Missouri right down the road
Looks like auremycin. We use it in weaning calves in their feed. Preventative to them getting sick during weaning.
Love the new look of First Class keep on trucking Kurt stay safe and God bless.
Love the look without those nasty lights, looks way cleaner. I think you gotta go round on the fender personally.
Opie seems in less of a funk today!
Love you Kurt, Sarah, Paige, Troy, Opie, Jacks

No excuses its YOUR TRUCK do as you want

Pride in your ride. Looking good. Safety 1st. Chicken trucking. Dual alternators... Keeps the lights running. Be safe.
Drive safe out there Kurt and see you next time
I do like the look without the light . So clean
Well squirrel that's where u store all food u eat.
I've picked up from kraft in Springfield MO. Backing in there can be tricky due to the pillars.
Underglow on the sides in place of the chicken lights. So much cleaner look.
The sound that CAT is second favorite engine sound. The first is Rolls-Royce Merlin at fill throttle.
OMG Kurt I would've been hyperventilating I have a hard time doing parking garages. Took my exs truck in 1 and the 1st time the antenna hit the beam I was done. Creds to u
Why did they choose to go underground? And why . God bless and keep you and yours safe
I've been to the caves there in Missouri a few times they are cool but your right they are tight areas for sure
The only red arrow.. Batesville Casket!!
Well, you sure go to some interesting places
Been in those very caves, driving for Hill Bros.just like the truck you filmed going in there except I didn't have a day cab.i once told my dispatcher I couldn't go in the caves because I had a phobia against it and it freaks me out he said ,bullshit, you ve been in there many times before.i said I know, just jacking with you.lol
Old poor Opie sitting up front he looks like Dad where are we I haven't ever seen anything like this!!!!
My brother lives in Springfield MO. They have a cave system like this one too.
There's a cave like that in Fayetteville, Arkansas too.
the caves brought back memories, Thanks.. loved the caves, I am sure whatever you decide First Class will look Awesome.
Man driving in the caves looks cool but man they tight, is look so cool sitting in the passenger seat
I worked at 8600 ne underground and we saw a many drivers have issues. They roped out overhead lighting a lot.
There are so many caves around here in KC by worlds of fun 23rd and 435 Truman and 435, 291 highway where your at even some downtown area of KC off of 31st
Your right with the lights gone that looks a lot better , I like the look .
Brilliant 👍
Hi Kurt! Andy the Kenworth guy did a video of a truck where he put new turn signal lights on was a kw emblem with watermelon lights. I think he said they where made by Shift products.
Been there a few times very Kool, I also was told that they store the old Hollywood movies there because of the constant temperatures.
Yup I've heard that to
I always loved going in federal reserve banks. So tight inside but loved being under those huge underground. I drove a spotter for a few years. Helped with those gotta lean out the back to see. Omg! I would have been SOOO LOST in those caves. Not to mention claustrophobia would have kicked into overdrive. 😲🤔🤞🇨🇦
Don't worry I was lol
I bet they needed that merchandise at the other dock so they got you to take it over there. 😱😱 Anyway, Opie looked so sophisticated sitting in the #2 seat. I think I heard him say "What's the deal? I get through these caves no prob. I just follow nose"

Agreed
Wish I'd known you're in town overnight I'd come down visited with you. Like to meet the legend ,,,Opie
As far as lights go , less is more
Those caves are tight quarters. Good video. Drive safely my friend. God bless you 🙏.
First Class is always pretty 😁
The button LEDs work pretty good along the side of the truck. I definitely like the watermelon lights though
Used to run in there twice a month with 295 WB 379 Pete , 48ft spread. Hated every second
Great video, stay safe
Hey kurt for the side light under the cab and sleeper you could use 3/4 inch or 1 inch button lights like you said 4 under sleeper and cab
That's a fun cave to be in
Hello, I live about 10min from the caves, be safe, hi from kansas city mo 💙 💜
Kurt button lights, facing down, would look nice along the bottom of the cab and sleeper.
Believe I seen you in Hopkinsville KY at the loves thanks for the cool vids man I knew one day I’d see you out here in the highways lol
Yup, some wireing maintenance
Looking good... just a personal opinion but, if you do the watermelon lights I would stick with round lights on the fenders. Opie seems to be in better spirits. It even looked at the end of the video like he was looking up the steps to get in but the door was closed. Drive safe and I'll look forward to the next video...

Looks like Opie was navigating for you 😆
Far out Kurt, first time I was there, no one from dispatch informed that this place is under ground. But the people at there S/ R office gave me good advice on to navigate in the caves. Look like you did well in those caves. Please get Opie a cheeseburger he looks like something is missing in his life. Keep her heavily loaded and well balanced. Be safe!!!!

I saw the other video, but I forgot about. It is interesting but it a little bit on the spooky side. Be safe.
i think it is pretty safe to say that today you are a professional trucker 1st in your class wtg in those caves!!
I like the new clean air cleaner lights. It does look less cluttered.
I've been in those caves there where ur at Kurt back in the early 80's I hauled produce for a minute I think I went down 3 or 4 levels hauled mushrooms out of there it was a neat experience
There's is no.levels in these caves.just the main one going in and out
