Teardown Time - Pooched Black and Decker Toaster Oven

Next on the chopping block. Our Black and Decker toaster oven. After 2 years of faithful service, it has started "glitching", where the toast level goes haywire and occasionally, the toaster turns itself on. I'm all about repairing things, but this is a fire hazard and I'm not taking the risk.

Thanks, just bought a bigger brother of this oven to do solder reflow work on surface mount electronics. I wanted to remove the shields as they are blocking heat but after watching the video, no fun in removing them and they appear to sort of set the wall to wall distance (??)

How difficult is it to take the heating element out of this toaster oven as one of them is tripping the breaker
