"Ever Dream" from the same show is insane - the last minute or so of that song the full band is running at 110% like a train coming at you at 70mph and you better just get out of the way, cuz it's not stopping.
At the beginning your girlfriends face was neutral... but her smile kept growing as she listened/watched the video until at the end her eyes were smiling.
I think she would LOVE some more Nightwish
Now, Nightwish IS the ENTIRE band. They are all incredibly talented at what they do, and without each and every one of them (past and present), the band wouldn't be the same. But Floor is the front and centre singer so we do tend to focus on her. And her talent is just incredible. She is incredibly versatile. She can sing any genre of music and in multiple language. And her stage presence is intense!
The more you watch Nightwish the more you realize how extremely talented Floor is...and how extremely talented ALL the other members of the band are!
They are also extremely thorough, there's no, half measures will do. It's 1000% input into their specific roles all the way :)
Its so nice to watch those smiles develop... like a begin of spring...

Awesome tune , although it is kind of a popish sound (originally sung by Anette), but Floor gave it soooo much POWER !!!
Nightwish lyrics are often a bit interpretive, and not as "straight forward" as many other bands, because Tuomas (founder, leader, keyboardist and songwriter of Nightwish) prefers people to put their own interpretations and life experiences into the lyrics. you connect with songs on a personal level when there is something there that relates to things you have gone/are going through, and you may even find new connections later on in life when you have gone through other big events/emotions. there might be songs you are quite indifferent about (oh, nice song) and then you go through something big and all of a sudden it makes you break down in tears because now you relate to something in the lyrics you didn't before, and see it from a whole new perspective. imagination and life experiences are powerful, and Tuomas has great appreciation of this.

Private Marshall, South Carolina division, Nightwish Army. The truly fun part of being in the Nightwish Army is watching new listeners. I saw it in your GFs face. Here's the good part. It gets better. There is so much and it's all good, all of it. Floor's voice is not an accident. She is highly trained, and the band is made up of master musicians. I suggest "I want my tears back" from the Buenos Aires Argentina concert. It's a lot of fun. I enjoy you channel very much, well done.

Well I'd like to welcome the both of you to the Nightwish Army!! 😜 WE are a crazy loyal lot!! I've been a huge fan since way back when they released their first album in 1996, when you could only find their music in the small "International" section of your local F.Y.E or Borders because no other store had even heard of them and really didn't know what Symphonic Metal was. A few fun facts for ya'all: Despite the odd collaboration every now and then from the other band members, Tuomas (the Keyboardist) NOT only writes ALL of the lyrics for Nightwish's music, but he composes ALL of the music for their instruments, as well as ALL compositions for the orchestral music that you'll hear playing in the background of their songs. Tuomas is known across the YT Universe as the "Metal Mozart" because he is a true musical genius, which is something that you will fully realize and understand the more you travel in your Nightwish journey. I believe that he will go down as one of this generations greatest composers. ALL of the band members are ALSO in other band's OR working on their solo careers at the SAME TIME that they are performing with Nightwish. To get a full bodied understanding of exactly how talented they ALL ARE, I'd suggest looking up at their individual musical backgrounds, as well as what they have accomplished as a band. Really it will blow you away because you have a range from musical scores to major motion movies, huge solo careers, and a massive resume for every single band member.

Also in Wembley concert there are Shudder before the Beautiful, and 7 days to the wolves that are good ones. Wembley was sold out too. And 2015 Tampere concert has their longest song as closer. Called "The Greatest show on Earth", based on book of Richard Dawkins. He also has some lines there. In Wembley he comes to stage at end of that song, but Tampere concert has better visuals. Try finding lyric video of that. It is complex song.

Floor is very much talented, her voice definitely expresses the emotion that the lyrics want to show. If you want to know another facet of the band, I recommend you to hear "The Islander" Live at Tampere. This one is singed by Marko, the bassist and there you can see the versatility of the band. If you want to hear the former singer (Tarja) who is also an amazing singer, "The Phantom of the Opera" is a good choice. Well, there is a lot of Nightwish to discover for you guys! Rock on!!

Floor can switch from growling to operatic singing in a split of a second. She has it all, unbelievable range of het voice. Such a skilled voice. But also such a positive energy.
An amazing thing about this performance: The singer (Floor) was new to the band and singing songs that were written for other vocalists. She sang that music like she OWNED it (and still does). The opening track on this show, Dark Chest of Wonders, was a good one, too.
Singing songs written for others is what most singers do all of their life.
hahaaaa you found the guy we refer to as The Time Traveller. The theory is that he was travelling to a Beach Boys or Jimmy Buffet concert in around 1978 and he got his coordinates mixed up and ended up in Germany in 2013!

Everyone doesn't have to like this band, but with that much talented creativity, everyone should at least know who they are. I always try to get people to at least check them out.
The interesting thing about the choir towards the end(at 6:00 ) is that it was just supposed to be that. Background choir. But Floor was like "Fuck that, I'm singing on top of it." XD
If you enjoyed Nightwish, you'd definitely enjoy With Temptation!! These two videos are from a special live performance with an orchestra. Unfortunately the lead singer Sharon was quite ill and had only just gotten her voice back. Watching these, you wouldn't even know she was sick. Oh! And she makes her own outfits. =)
