I have a MHP50 with the same USB-C / DC setup and it uses 5.5x2.5mm DC connectors. Not that a 5.5x2.1mm wouldn’t work, but I’d wager that Miniware’s power supply has the same inputs as their hotplates.

Answered in the video. It current limits both it's output and input.
