@@sasquatchlife8836 hey, if you're looking for solid guitar, i guess you should check Core series of cort also. That's newly released all solid body series at reasonable price.
Cort builds some of the best guitars you can buy. Never really heard their acoustics before I'm sure i've played one they built for other companies. My buddy had a Cort Electric "Matt Guitar Murphy" signature guitar it's was one of best fit & finish's i've seen by any builder.
Watchman4u Yeah, I agree. Cort makes killer guitars. I own more Cort guitars than any other brand. I have 4 acoustics, 2 electrics, and a 5-string bass from them. They are all stellar, and priced well below what any other brand usually would charge for a lesser product. All have top notch hardware and intonation is dead on. Fret work is super, and they sound great. I have nothing bad to say about Cort guitars. I have never played a Matt Murphy signature, but I will look it up. It sounds really cool! Thanks for checking it out! Really cool to see you here! 🐰🙏❤️
Been waiting for 4 month's now for a cort D6 to come into stock in a left hand. Hopefully be June when they come in.🤞 Will keep waiting cos the quality seems good.

Thank you very much! I do not have the P6. The 3 I own are the D6, O6, and A8. I will do another video soon of all three side by side. A few people requested I do that. If you're in the market for a parlor, I would highly recommend the Corts; I am sure the P6 is a great guitar. The entire line of these Gold series guitars is super. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!! Don't hesitate to ask me anything you'd like to know. 🐰❤️🙏🤝🎸🎶
@@JackTheRabbitMusic I'm looking forward to hearing you play them. I'm still considering the A6/A8 but I find the 12 fret parlour super tempting. Thanks for the feedback.
Hey dude, thanks so much for watching! 🙌 Well the A8 is my main gigging instrument, so I just could not part with it. The D6 is beautiful, but I don’t really play dreadnought size guitars unless I am recording something that calls for one...they’re just too big and bulky for my taste. If I had to choose, I would easily say I would keep the A8. I actually have a gig next month, so I may make a video of my live setup soon. The Fishman Flex Blend that they put in the A8 sounds amazing going direct into the mixer and out the P.A speakers with nothing in between, and the ease of that is priceless to me. If you need electronics for live use, I highly recommend the A8. 🐰❤️🙏🎸🎶🤝✌️
These are nice. I personally wouldn't be able to choose just one of them. Though the GT had a real nice look that sways me. But they all sounds sweet. Then again the fret details you mentioned on the Cort got my attention. They are really understated when heard side by side with the others. How do the Corts travel (altitude) Don't plan on flying any time soon. But just curious. I know Martin have a good reputation. While others don't travel well at all. Nice demo.
Thanks dude! The Cort guitars are torrefied tops, so they are pretty much already dried out. They have been rock solid here at the house, and I bought them from a retailer in Florida. They arrived perfectly set up and in tune, even! The fret work is absolutely stunning. Better than my Martin, LArrivee, and Cole Clark as far as fret dress goes. I was shocked at the quality of these Cort Gold series. A girl commented and asked me to do a side by side comparison of all 3 of the Cort Gold series guitars I own...stay tuned for that! It may be the next video I do. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! 🐰❤️🙏🎸🎶
I have a Cort O6 and it plays and sounds way out of its price range. Have you tried the Gold 8 models? I am curious how they are compared to the gold 6 models.
Hey Anthony!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!! I actually will be doing a demo/shootout between my Cort Gold D6, O6, and A8 very soon!! The 8 models are Pao Ferro back and sides vs the Mahogany on the 6 series. They are definitely different! I hope you will sub and click the bell so you'll see when I post that video! Hey man good to see you back at it. I liked this vid very much and whatever you wanted to show of your collection I’d like to see. The Cort was a beautiful and nice sounding guitar. They make great guitars. I do love the Martins more as their tone is richer to me. One of my best friends growing up had a D-45 he let me play back in the band days. That’s where I fell in love! Later!!
Hey Tempissed!! Thanks for watching! Yeah, the Cort sounds surprisingly good, but the Martin's both have their classic Woody tone. I use them for different things...the D16 had a fatter neck, so it's better for cowboy chords. I would say my favorite is the D15. I like the sepele version better than my Honduran mahogany D15M. I'll do some more with my other guitars!! 🐰🙏❤😊
Hola con qué modelo te quedarías de estas guitarras Cort gold d6-cort gold 06- Martín dx1ae o Taylor academy12?? Felicidades por las reviews! Un saludo desde Barcelona
Hello, Eugenio! I wish I could understand Spanish, but TH-cam took away the ability to auto-translate comments! I think you are asking which guitar I would choose out of the 4 you’ve mentioned...if so, I would choose a Cort O6 over the Martin or Taylor. Thanks for watching and for the comment! Have an awesome day! Peace. 🐰💙🙏🎸🎶🤝✌️
Thank you, Peter! I actually sold the D16 a few months ago, but I still have the Cort! The Martin was a very high maintenance instrument, compared to every other guitar I've ever owned. It sounded great, though! 🐰💜🙏🎸🎶🤝✌
Hey oobboo, I had 80/20 elixir strings on my Cort A8, but have since swapped to phosphor bronze. I would try both on your particular instrument, and see which you prefer. I definitely go for phosphor bronze, given a choice, but there is nothing “bad” or “wrong” about 80/20 strings; It’s just a personal preference. I know that probably doesn’t help make a decision, but it’s a fairly inexpensive experiment to try different strings. I always stick with Elixir brand, though. I want to try those new D’Addario XS strings, but they’re even more $$$ than Elixir. Thanks for watching the video! Peace. 🐰💙🙏🎸🎶🤝✌️
It is ridiculous how good a Cort Gold guitar sounds compared to a x3-4 folds pricier guitar. It sounds almost identical to me. The Cort Gold series sounds like some $1500 guitars
@@ilyab.5127 That was exactly my thought, and why I made a video like this. I was genuinely surprised by these Cort guitars, and I didn’t see many videos talking about them or showing them up close. I actually sold the D6, but still have the A8 and the O6. The dred was just too large of a body size for me to keep. I own zero dreadnaught guitars now., but I still like the sound of them! Thanks so much for checking out my video! 🐰🙏❤️🎸🎶✌️
Hey Jack, I’m upgrading my current acoustic. guitars I’m looking at are Cort O8 and a Martin OMC x1e. Cort is a full solid guitar and Martin is full hpl both of them are available for the same price I would love to hear your opinion and if you were in my place what would you do? I didn’t play neither of them(I can’t there are no stores in my area) I have to buy them online.
Hey! If you want a guitar that will open up over time, I would get the Cort. The fact that it’s all solid wood is the deal maker. Martin has the name brand behind it, so if you ever want to sell it, you’ll get more of your money back from it. The Martin has an “e” in the serial number, which means it’s probably got electronics...but I don’t know that particular model. If that’s something important to you, then go with the Martin. What are you going to be using the guitar for? I sold my Martin D16 last week, because I like my Cort better, and didn’t need 2 Spruce/Mahogany dreadnaught guitars. I still have the two D15’s though! lol😇 I would do a search for both models and see how many used examples I could find. Get an idea of the resale value, if that’s important, and then see if you can get one at a deal. If you can score the Martin for less used, maybe try to do that? I know the Cort is a serious instrument, and will age nicely. My O6 is one of my favorite guitars! 🐰❤️🙏🎸🎶🤝✌️
Jack the Rabbit I live in India, there are very few used guitars in my country, We can never find the model we’re looking for in the used market. Soo I don’t have an option selling the guitar or buy a used one . I only play at home I don’t really need electronics but the Martin without electronics is not available in my country (If I want one I will have to pay 50% extra for shipping and custom duties) I’m only considering Martin because of the brand and it’s currently available in an online store for the same price as the Cort O8 (I have seen some great reviews about the playability and construction quality) I really like the look of both the guitars. I’m really lost right now I don’t have the chance to listen to them in person or play them. What do you think I should do? And thank you soo much for the response! You are a great help to me!!
Ah, ok, I see! Well, I would go with the Cort, TBH. The woods are all very nice, and the torrefication process will help to stabilize the top from warping in humid weather. If you’re in a REALLY humid or REALLY dry climate, the Martin may be a better choice, simply because the laminate woods are more stable in rough environments, but they won’t sound as good, and will not get better over the life of the guitar. If I were in your shoes, I would buy the Cort. The Cort has a better fit and finish than the laminate Martin, and the sound will be much better, due to the all solid wood construction. You will be impressed with the Cort. Especially the fretwork! The O8 will also open up with age, and only sound better the more it’s played. I hope this helps. I know it’s a very personal choice, but that is just my opinion, based off what I experienced. Let me know what you end up getting! I appreciate the support!! 🐰🙏❤️
Awesome! 😎 👏 Lemme know what you think once you get it and play it a bit! They’re really beautiful in person. You’ll be very pleased, I am sure! 🐰❤️🎸🎶🤝✌️
My favorite all around is the D15!!🐰🎸👍 I grab the D16 first when recording in the studio, though! The Cort sounds crystal clear, and I love that one when I accompany myself singing.
@@JackTheRabbitMusic I like the Cort one of my Fav Acoustics is a Jasmin D-35 Dreadnought btw Takikamimi / Jasmin built the Sigman Martin Gtrs before they were tapped by Martin cause the kept using the Head stock from Martin thus the Birth of Takimimie/Jasmin. It;s the cheapest gtr I have . $89 brand new I've play the it more than any other haha go figure. I do like my Alvarez guitars & Dove / Humming Bird Gtrs but thet don;t have that Mojo.
I have 3 Cort Gold series guitars, all were bought online, and all were shipped perfectly set up and ready to rock…flawless. I tried to find fault in them, especially because they are affordable, but I cannot knock them for anything. The fretwork is the best I have seen on any factory guitars under $1300. The best fretwork I have ever seen was on an Ibanez 1070PBZ that I used to own. The Cort has the same fretwork. I hope you enjoy your new Cort! I love my Gold O6!! Thanks for watching and commenting!! 🐰❤️🙏🤝🎸🎶✌️
I like 1st or 3rd. 1st is clean and 3rd has sweetness. 1st has sweetness too, but 3rd's sweetness is better. 2nd is sweet too, but lack of high and low. but when play with other instruments, 2nd can be good. maybe 1st can be best with other instruments? I wouldn't choose 3rd when play with other instruments. 1st is clean and bright, near. 2nd and 3rd are far sound, but has more sweetness.
Vance Hicks lmao...I only use my picks when playing the dreds. I use them mostly for recording, because the big cowboy chords sound great!! I don’t generally play them when I sing. I prefer my 000 or OM style guitars for that. Thanks for checking it out! 🐰🙏🤘

Triple dred throw down with the acoustica threat
of wicked frets and body dings
all those axes really sing👍🏽
lol, Poo Ninja! Thanks for checking it out, man!! Much love! 🐰🙏
Been waiting for 4 month's now for a cort D6 to come into stock in a left hand. Hopefully be June when they come in.🤞 Will keep waiting cos the quality seems good.
Oh man, it's definitely a beautiful instrument and will be worth the wait, I'm sure! Thanks so much for the watch and the comment! 🐰🙏💜🎸🎶🤝✌
Hey man. Cool video. I like the little tune you play. What is the chord you play after the E minor?
Hey Chad! Thanks so much, dude! I think the chord you mean is a D/F# 🐰💜🙏🎸🎶🤝✌
@@JackTheRabbitMusic yeah, that's it! Thanks man. .
@@jackaro2 🙂👍 you got it! That's just a little test piece I wrote, for when I wanna get a sense of what a guitar can do.
That D15 sounded incredible! All three sounded great.
Man, I love that D15! I'm getting my Honduran mahogany D15 back from Gary Brawer on Thursday, so I'm gonna do another shout-out between that and the Sapele version that's played on this video. I think it'll be a cool test to try...I haven't done it yet.
Thanks so much for watching!! 🐰🙏❤🎸🤘
@@JackTheRabbitMusic Right on! That should be a cool vid!
Great video. Do you have a Cort P6 in your collection? Been thinking of buying that.
Dude! Keep it up! Nice bro!
Thanks brother Gary!! Always appreciate your support! 🐰🙏❤😊
Beautiful sounding guitars man
Thanks, Paul!! 🐰🙏
Thanks for the comparison. I’m one step closer to the cort.
Do you prefer the d6 or the a8?
Hey dude, thanks so much for watching! 🙌
Well the A8 is my main gigging instrument, so I just could not part with it. 🐰❤️🙏🎸🎶🤝✌️
Nice to see you!
Hi Janice!! Great to see you, too!! 🐰🙏❤
Thank U for Review
Thank you for watching, and for leaving a comment!
🐰🙏💙🎸🎶🤝✌️
@@JackTheRabbitMusic Just bought a D6 yesterday..They are amazing.

They all sound great !
Thanks, Edwin!! 🐰🙏
I really appreciate the watch, man!! 🐰❤️🙏🎸🎶🤝✌️
@@JackTheRabbitMusic Awesome dude. Thanks.
You’re welcome, Anthony!
Hows the bass response and loudness? Compared to other om guitars?
Peace. 🐰💙🙏🎸🎶🤝✌️
Nice one
thanks so much, dude!! 🐰💜🙏🤝🎸🎶✌
D16 sounds incredible.
Thank you, Peter! I actually sold the D16 a few months ago, but I still have the Cort! The Martin was a very high maintenance instrument, compared to every other guitar I've ever owned. It sounded great, though! 🐰💜🙏🎸🎶🤝✌
Hello Jack,
did you try Elixir 80/20 strings on the Cort? I am torn between the Phosphor Bronze and the 80/20.
Hey oobboo,
I had 80/20 elixir strings on my Cort A8, but have since swapped to phosphor bronze.
Peace. 🐰💙🙏🎸🎶🤝✌️
@@JackTheRabbitMusic I will test it :). Probably starting with the regular phosphor bronze :) Thank you!
@@oobboo1799 You are very welcome!
Good stuff Bro.
Thanks MHH!! 🐰🙏
Maybe you can vs a Limited Edition Cort against a martin or taylor
Haha, that would be sweet! If Cort, Martin, or Taylor want to send me some guitars, I won’t say no, hahaha!
Thank you for the comment! 🐰❤️🙏🇺🇸🎸🎶🤝✌️
I still have the two D15’s though! lol😇
I would do a search for both models and see how many used examples I could find.
Jack the Rabbit thank you soo much!! I’m going for the Cort!!
Awesome! 😎 👏 Lemme know what you think once you get it and play it a bit! They’re really beautiful in person. You’ll be very pleased, I am sure! 🐰❤️🎸🎶🤝✌️
Which one do you grab first when you feel inspired?
My favorite all around is the D15!!🐰🎸👍
I grab the D16 first when recording in the studio, though!
The Cort sounds crystal clear, and I love that one when I accompany myself singing.
@@JackTheRabbitMusic Can't go wrong with a D-15 brother. I need to play more acoustic.....
Dreadnaughts are so rich and full of tone 🤘
They're great for strumming. I didn't want to finger pick these for a shootout. I think most would play big cowboy chords 🐰✌❤
I just order a Cort gold 08 OM model, heres hoping its not a dud
I have 3 Cort Gold series guitars, all were bought online, and all were shipped perfectly set up and ready to rock…flawless. I tried to find fault in them, especially because they are affordable, but I cannot knock them for anything. The fretwork is the best I have seen on any factory guitars under $1300. The best fretwork I have ever seen was on an Ibanez 1070PBZ that I used to own. The Cort has the same fretwork. I hope you enjoy your new Cort! I love my Gold O6!! Thanks for watching and commenting!! 🐰❤️🙏🤝🎸🎶✌️
How was the guitar?? I’m planning to buy an O8 too
I like 1st or 3rd.
Thanks for watching, and leaving a comment! It’s great to hear other people’s opinions about sound, I am always learning something new! 🐰❤️🙏🇺🇸🎸🎶🤝✌️

The D15 is my favorite to play! Everyone who I let play it always want to buy it from me lol! Thanks for checking it out, Weedy!! You rock dude!!🙏🐰🤘❤️
I'd say the cort won anyways since the price was considerably lower, it sounds almost as great, and it has more luxurious features.
