After having dealt with it twice, I can say one solid piece of advice: Look into getting a digital motion x ray study done on your neck and prolotherapy injections to retighten the ligaments. This is far more critical than probably anything else you could do and is not often talked about at all. Whiplash stretches out your ligaments dramatically and you MUST get them to stop being so loose. Prolo injections cause your body to heal the tissue properly and naturally. I have done it twice and am 85% better from earlier already.
Interesting 🤔 thank you for sharing this information. I had bad whiplash from a car accident in 2009, then 2 weeks ago a chiropractor gave me whiplash. No joke!
@@richardchambers1124 I never received any treatment for my whiplash in my accident, I only took muscle relaxer because I just gave birth 6wks before the accident. With my second whiplash, I alternated between ice packs and heating pad, slept without my pillow, took muscle relaxer and 800 mg motrin and used a Therapeutic Percussion massage device. The 2nd chiropractor I saw greatly helped with my neck pains and terrible headaches. Now onto the 3rd chiropractor who is unlocking all my stiff muscles from the whiplash. Sadly, with this pandemic, I'm discovering how useless most doctors are now. Also, when Obamacare took place, it skyrocketed my health insurance so we couldn't afford to use it. So I'm going to share your information with my new chiropractor and see if he'll use those injections for my recovery from my whiplash. Thank you again for sharing your information and experience.
Been dealing with it from a fall from a roof for 2 years . Nerve pain in dorsal scapula was very intense . It did get a little better but I need zero gravity most the day . Couldn’t look down for longest time .
Thank you for sharing this information! I was a passenger in a vehicle when we were rear-ended a year ago (3 months after my 18th birthday 🙃) and my back and neck have never been the same since. I have a hard time with feeling weak and complaining so I was nervous about seeing a doctor at the time. When I finally went in to get checked only a month after the accident the physical therapist questioned why I waited so long. She was not helpful and didn’t improve my discomfort or anxieties. Your videos have been super helpful to me as someone who gets anxious around doctors and doesn’t have much time to visit them in person. ❤️
I've had whiplash from a bad car accident in 09, then had wonderful chiropractic care in 2016-2020. My awesome chiropractor moved several counties away. So I had to find a new chiropractor who unfortunately gave me whiplash. No joke! Then found it hard to find another chiropractor who would help me. Finally found one who helped relieve me of my serious neck and head pain with just 2 chiropractic visits. So I've never heard of an orthopedic doctor helping with whiplash. I'm my experience here in Southern California, the orthopedic doctors I've encountered are a big waste of my time, money. And energy. And the ONLY PT help I've ever received is from Bob and Brad. This pandemic has definitely changed the way PT and medical doctors help a patient.
I live in Norway, let me start with that. I was a passenger in a car accident in 1986, a head on (high speed, slippery road) - I had discomfort in my neck but nothing I as a teenager could not handle, except the blistering headaches, then 2 years later I could not get out of bed after rest between work (diary farm), it felt like my body had locked, I could not even move my head. I got some painkillers from the farmer and managed to move again. Then in 1993 I was again a passenger in a head on... x-ray said nothing wrong but my neck was in a terrible state, I could not hold my head up, it had to be supported, I was 23 and used a brace for 6 months (way to long). Long story short, pain as described in this video has been a part of my life, including the arms and cognitive problems. I went and got LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) and done correct it helps, I say done correct as I went two different places and the second place the person was clueless to what trigger points is. I has 6 moths without headaches, but it was far to travel and expensive when one have a fixed income. Do looking into LLLT if it is legal in the US, it does help and my neck was stronger after treatment. Upright MRI will tell more than a regular MRI, this bowling ball in top of our spine push down sitting, but flat out on ones back everything look normal. I got upright X-ray and that showed I do have problems with my neck, was offered surgery, but I am not ready for that and it does cost a lot of money. Weight lifting is not a bad thing, I started that a few years back and everything improved, but it have to be supervised by someone who do know what is at stake and can make a proper program, and accept that not all days are alike. Thank you for the information
I just bought a Bioflex laser system for my practice. Can’t wait to use it for people like you and get people healing faster. Thanks for telling your story. Gives me more confidence that I bought a system that can be effective.
I’m being treated for whiplash I was in a car accident a couple weeks ago and I’m seeing 2 different chiropractors and doing physical therapy twice a week at both places, I’m 55
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! so I have had serious pain because of disc herniation and sciatica, tried years of physio and epidural steroid injections as well and for 4 years the pain just went either remained constant or sometimes even got worse. Life truly became unlivable, no happiness to look forward to. But then a mixture of excersises, bone broth protein and consuming THC edibles right before starting excersises has made tremendous difference within a month. Could you guys explore THC/CBD effects on pain in the back or knees? I would to hear your ideas, opinions, and any personal stories on it. Thanks!
I am two week out from a MVA and I was hit from the side near the back of my vehicle. I went for a massage and became very nauseous afterward, she only worked on my neck. Then, I had another the following week and felt fuzzy unclear in my mind, it’s hard to describe.

How long after your accident did you get prolo? And did you get prolo after the first accident or just the second accident?
