    Thanks for your video. Finally someone who actually understands and explains it. I'm 4 months in and I've had multiple scans, multiple hospital visits and everyone keeps telling me to check my mental health. I finally had a neurosurgeon confirm the diagnosis after explaining the symptoms and the events prior to. The only help I can get is from a very experienced Osteopath who has worked on my dura and calming my nervous system. I had 3 months of intense inflammation, anxiety, headaches, loss of concentration/focus, eyesight and vocal was effected as well as eating. Still get sensations at the base of the skull and mainly on the right side of my neck and throat. My body is also slowly peeling itself back from absolute stiffness as I've been stuck for 3 months. There is also a choking feeling and straining that still occurs as I continue to do daily tasks. Bending and sitting are still a challenge but getting better. Hoping it won't be a long term disability but trying to remain positive. Thank you for explaining it to a T! I can't thank you enough.

    Another very important part of this is getting to a point where you realize no matter how bad it is your body isn’t working against you it’s working to protect you and what the mind is repeating

    this is so validating... the emotional aspect after my accident has been affecting me more than anything. though most would say the accident wasn't "that bad." thank you for this video doctor.

    As a retired Biologist this man has honed in on the comoplexities of a whiplash that is absolutely so amazina and informative... I ghave sufferted 2 whiplashes in two years, one a Low Velocity and the last ione a very big velocity,. He has said in mere minutes, so much it is truly groundbraeking in what I have found to date!

    This man gets it !!! Everything I complained about I had no idea this was related to whiplash I got a concussion so that's what I attributed everything to besides my stiff neck and difficulty lifting my arms at times because my shoulders will feel weak and the intense pain that I will feel in my neck into in between my shoulder blades I've been suffering for 7 years since my injury I feel like there's just something missing I do hate therapy light therapy but it's not better yet cold packs to go to sleep

    Can it be because the ligaments are loose causing instability like cci or aai or just cervical instability in journey.. bones hitting nerves and arteries and brain stem and etc

    I cannot believe my ears! I have such difficulty communicating and getting the quality of treatment and recognition of the severity of symptoms... I've had multiple repeated whiplash incidents and FINALLY someone with perceptive knowledge intricately and accurately is drawing attention with understanding to this plaguing condition. I practiced massage but was forced to retire. What is your opinion on eurowave shockwave for treatment? I have degeneration. Thank you! Sharing.......

    Can whiplash cause a concussion, and can a concussion/whiplash cause a significant change in a person’s personality/behavior?

    • @katalystcruz8864
      @katalystcruz8864 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yea. Common problems are concusion.

    • @glory8065
      @glory8065 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Every concussion is a whiplash, but not every whiplash is a concussion. On regard, to your question about personality. A lot of times these injuries invoke mood changes not personality changes. Personality changes are usually associated with severe/other forms of TBI

      @@GGletgo1a chiro did a heavy manipulation to the back of my head that no one can reverse. I have chronic spams pulling yanking burning squeezing you name it I feel it deep at the base of skull, esp midline right, i feel both sides of face falso get it in the front of my neck, sternum and stomach. It feels like my head isn’t centered. Sometimes it’s also in my upper back but mostly the spasms are the front esp left side neck, my ear on that side will clog, tense up, my body feels heavy, lymphatics are off ankles fluid filled, sweat a lot. Tried 34 therapists nothing. Watch posture but it feels like I’m not straight no matter what I do. My head feels dismantled. 5 years
