    Wait, did it really not scratch at a level 6? This would be unprecedented for Gorilla Glass, only Sapphire glass can resist scratches at a level 6, and Corning would have been shouting this feature from the rooftops if they had managed to make a sapphire glass cover.

      Imo I would wait for Jerry rig everything to post he’s tests - he seems to go into more depth and I reckon it will scratch at a level 6 with deeper groves at level 7… if screen technology has changed he will say from what to what it is now etc

      Glass is glass, and glass scratches at level 6.
      Even Apple's junk sapphire scratches at level 6.

      Its ok without a case, looks very stylish especially in green like I have, but the phone is SLIPPERY although the sides do help with the grip. Still, a slippery phone even when laying in bed the phone slides out of my hand without a case. Like any phone, a case is a must. I love the S22, minus the fact that the phone I had previously, the Galaxy S9+ has a higher screen resolution and ppi density than the S22 display... which I can barely notice but still notice the difference between WQHD+ and FHD+.... kinda sucks because I was unaware of the fact that only the newer "ultra" line has the full display specs.... oh well.

    • @maar73n79
      @maar73n79 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      the differences are minuscule. I mean, think about it. Most ppl still game on a 1080p monitor and depending on the '' it still yields crisp images. Now, most gaming monitors at 1080p come at around 22'' to 27'' and while there, u really do notice a difference to a 1440p monitor, seeing the difference on a screen almost 4 times as small is really something your eyes don't perceive anymore at some point. Given that phone screens are the biggest battery drainers, I actually think its a good thing that manufacturers dont go higher atm than 1440p, when even 1080p is crisp enough for any average user. Personally I really am not disappointed with the S22+'s 1080p screen.

    • @fynkozari9271
      @fynkozari9271 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dude, you notice the difference 400-500ppi? Are you Superman? With microscopic vision? 1440p at 6 inch has no benefit other than draining battery faster.

    The base S22 is probably the best pocket phone you can get. As in, moderate twisting and bending forces will not bend it. Larger phones are easy to twist and bend, even a tiny bit. I hated puting my s20FE in the pocket of jeans. If I had to bend down I always removed it in fear of tweaking the frame. I was always putting the phone face down on flat surfaces to check for warping. With smaller phones like the S22, it's not really a worry.

    Honest opinion as first time I’ve seen a video of yours, yeah was to the point and done quickly, also uploaded quickly, but sometimes being first doesn’t mean best, it was pretty boring tbh and I’m a big technology fan, some facts and info about it would have been nice, lastly it just seemed like a quick and dull copy of Jerry rig everything durability test.. you need to find a way to distinguish yourself and make your content different to the point someone could watch both videos - very similar tests but different ways of presenting it
    Imo you didn’t seem interested or enthusiastic, (don’t like the “hey guys” shouting and over the top.. just sound like your interested and make it entertaining
    Hope that helps, obvs it’s your channel, you do what you think is best, it’s just my opinion that I found it dull and a cheap knock off from others, and that you just wanting to be one of if not the first to upload a durability test.. sorry if I come across as being rude or unkind, not my intention, just sharing my honest opinion with you really

    • @PBKreviews

      Hi thank you for your criticism. I appreciate you taking the time. I will of course take your input and better apply myself where I can. For sure no matter what I will not replace Zack/Jerryrig when it comes to durability videos since hes personality and how he does his videos is his own unique style. Only reason I started doing the durability ones was because people kept asking me to but ya my voice and personality isn't as bubbly or attractive so its hard for me to fake it since it would be sincere. But ya I will look into what else I can do with the durability videos but I don't plan on doing them for every phone, especially if there aren't much views for them since these are really costly for me. I upload these videos at a loss and don't generate enough income from TH-cam to cover all these phones I do :) Thanks though, and if you have any other suggestions feel free to mention them.

    • @adamc91
      @adamc91 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PBKreviews bless ya, you’ll get there, feel like I was way to harsh, maybe just give more info on the products, that would help a lot
      And why not limit the scratching to the front and back glass only - then you could replace them and either sell the device if you wanted to, to reclaim some losses, but before you do - we live comparison videos, so camera, battery, speed test, water test, drop test.. am like a lion on a hunt looking for new videos that show something that someone hasn’t already lol
      I know you can’t change your voice, I hate my voice and not brave enough to ever post a video lol so good on you for doing what you enjoy,
      But yeah, just write a scrip - do research so for example at the beginning you could say for the water test - what rating it is, what previous phones are, how it compares, what it says depth and time wise on paper, how it compares to other flagships, more info might make a huge difference then hopefully you’ll get some good sponsors and freebies, also could start a patrion too.. you do what you think is best, good luck, will sub to see what content you do next 😁 looking forward to it ☺️

      The video jerryrighteverything did is the S22 Ultra, not the S22. The Ultra video I did on mine, you can also see that yes it scratches at a 6. I was told that the Ultra screen due to the process in making the curved glass, makes it a bit softer as well compared to the S22 flat glass screen. So there is a difference in scratch level on the glass for the S22 compared to the S22 Ultra. Hope this explains :)

      The benchmark test I ran in the benchmark video somewhat shows what the battery life is like between the three phones, you can see what percentage the batteries are at when the tests are finished. Aside from that, it's really hard and time consuming to try and go a close to accurate battery life test since everyone wants me to test it a certain way with certain features etc. I have to still finish the S22 teardown, S22 plus teardown and the Ultra durability and teardown so depending on how much time I have, I will look into it. :)
