I’m totally opposed to the increased density in cities and I know exactly who is responsible. I am disgusted by the slumming of cities!!!!!

I'm trying to keep an open mind....but I'm not happy about the State having control over how Bend and other "mid-sized" towns have to grow.

It is. I was looking for a smaller area to move to. I am of a personality that can not take huge influxes of people. I'm sad seeing this about Oregon. I'm not even from Oregon but I can see "who we know" is doing this to our towns. They have done it in Spokane, Washington and in everything in between there and into Idaho. It's a nightmare of too many people. The let's cram people into the smallest of places and drive everyone mad. Then they will all destroy themselves. Yeah, we know what they are trying to do. Also, the unaware people moving from big cities do not realize what they are doing to our towns. Our mentality. We did not grow up with lots of population like they did and then they came over. It's like vultures mentality. Our house prices have tripled. People who were born and raised here can't buy a house? What? Greed and evil in so many directions. So many talk about how uncomfortable it is now and so many other adjectives added in there. Haha. Right? Just not right what is going on to all of us down to earth states. They always made fun of our states in movies and television. Saying we are hicks and all. Look at them now. Shameful really. More of us should talk of this. Speak up.

Oregon is a beautiful state. Move to a place that has and will always have less than 50k people and you won't have these issues.
