Modules NEED to be weightless or at least weigh substantially less if we’re going to be getting so many from events, and if the cores we have are going to be converted and modules still weigh as much as they do then EVERYONE will be over encumbered
I believe I read, that mmodules will count as junk and will be able to be stored in the scrap box. This yould free up so much space in my stash, it's unreal.
And to people saying they need to raise the 6k limit …i say if you visit the purveyor on a regular basis to buy items for scrapping to learn prefixes you will never need more than the 6k limit, as you will be continually spending it.
Script needs to be higher 10 for 3 stars. 5 for 2 star and 2 for 1 star. Also they need to make an account stash, increase the limit to 5k for stash and make a Chem and food stash that's separate from stashes
Thank god they’re adding a scraping system to the legendaries, I’m a new player ( only a month in) and this game frustrates me because it’s so easy to become overencumbered when the daily limit is only 500 scripts which limits gameplay. I still have over 50 mutation packs to open from the last mutated events because I’ll be overencombered for nearly a week if I do😂
With the economy around modules changing my hope is they'll make them cheaper at the purveyor and eventually give us legendary effects you can only get through random pulls at the purveyor, now once you have those unique legendary items you could in theory scrap them to get a chance at the crafting mod but you wouldn't find the legendary effect in the wild and this would keep the purveyor still relevant to the game, additionally do a timed event where the purveyor sells randomized legendary mods so that if the unique legendaries don't interest you at least you can potentially get something your looking for.
I'm just sitting here praying they do a 1-1 exchange of cores to modules when this drops if it stays like this... I have probably 10K+ cores sitting on various characters that I'll never run through, and if those become modules I can then put in my stash and use? That would be a pretty slick move. I definitely see myself, as the systems sit, spending a whole lot of my time buying 1* weapons and armor, until I get Uny/oe/ etc and bloody/aa/quad/vampire unlocked as craftables. I have so many pieces that would be perfect godrolls if I could just swap the primary over to something good.

Heres my view on this:The scrip limit will probably remain unchanged,as they want people to log in every day and play,and they may not get that as much if it was raised.I also dont think module prices will change much,if at all.
Hey DPS, just wanted to ask - i'm presuming armour & PA are counted separately, so learning Overeaters on standard armour does NOT allow you to mod it onto PA - is this correct, in the current PTS?
Nope armor effects are universal so if you scrap regular armor for effects it can be put on PA... but PA cant learn Unyeilding cuz it would be too broken. On top of that if armor effects are also weapon effects IE Caviliers or Aristocrats they can be modded on to either.
Modules need to be weightless. Those of us that dont have Fallout First wont have room in storage! The game will be unplayable.... OR make the storage limit much larger.
They are as of the current build ...nothing, either they will become modules or just not exist I can't say for sure since I don't think bethesda knows yet.

Just get rid of legendary cores entirely and reduce the price of modules, very simple and get rid of all this dumb shit. All its gonna do is cause massive problems and end up being shut down then removed . Besides what are we crafting or rolling? Theres nothing new?

Day before the crafting system goes live I'm crafting a ton of ss armor and guass pistles for weapons and armor to scrap.

Yeah 1 star effects will be so easy to come by the real ball ache is things like weapon weight and sentinels.
