  • Temu is a topic of controversy in the fishing community; blatant ripoffs at a cheaper price undercut the original producer. However, there are times when you simply can't beat the bang for your buck, and in this case, that's the knockoff of the MegaBass Sleeper Craw: The Cheaper Craw. We've delved into this polarizing topic before with decent success, but now, it's time to put the final nail in the coffin for this debate. This is one of the best days I've ever had on the water as far as quantity AND quality, and it was all thanks to this $2 Temu knockoff.
    Everything from unusual deer behavior to multiple lap hog river smallies; all of that and more on this episode of TackleJox!

    Great video! I live in Western North Carolina and often fish the French broad for smallies. When fishing for smallies that are in the 2 to 5-pound range how strong of tackle do your recommend?

      The French Broad and Nolichucky are SLEEPER river systems. I caught my first musky in the nolichucky river.
      I recommend 14-20 lb mono and a medium heavy baitcasting setup

    I'm new to the tri-cities area and have been trying to figure out how to stay safe given the TVA schedule. I've seen some people say, "stay off the water 4 hours after they start generating." Well, that eliminates much of the day in many cases. Can you make a video on how you work around the TVA generation schedule safely? Also, I do have a jet boat. Are they safe to be in when there is a big release of water?

      I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the TVA and that’s a good idea. I’ll put together a breakdown in the future!

    Are spinning rods too flimsy for this type of river? Do the Baitcast rods handle the current better or do you just have more precision?

    • @TackleJox
      @TackleJox  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s all relative in this river to how much current the dump from the dam, but that being said, I prefer baitcasters for jigs hands down
