The strange bits of metal you found in the closet constitute your tire iron. The long rod goes through the round holes in the main part and that's your lever. You should find that the hex end fits your wheel nuts.

It’s so lightweight I hadn’t considered that, but I think you’re right.
That spare shore power inlet looks like a NEMA 5-20 or 5-30 120v 20a or 30a socket... fairly popular to hook up generators to buildings.
