    Big power for big money. Glad to see Chevy did give it some balls. Even though this will see the Mall more than the track. This will be a great value on the used market.

    72k for a camaro, yikes

      @JogBird - If GM actually cancels the Camaro in two years, the resale on this will take a hit. I rather spend that $72k on a base model Corvette C8.

      But it’s a ZL-1. 650 hp.

      @Big Smoke - Just type CANCEL and CAMARO into Google. You'll find dozens of articles. But don't get it twisted, do you think that FCA is going to continue selling Chargers and Challengers forever. If you're a fan of these types of V8 cars, our days are numbered.

      Camaro is the name. You buy the car. It's not an 83z28.

    Lateral-g different from the coupe? Probably. Why is she driving with the steering-wheel up against her chest like an SUV? Maybe short legs can't reach the pedals or is that her preferred driving position? Wouldn't mind a little more tech-specs. How's the wind-noise/buffeting?

    With the C8 taking on the pricing of fully loaded pony car why would you buy this?

    • @gabrielflores1149
      @gabrielflores1149 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because you can put two adults in the back semi-comfortably with the top down, and because the Vette requires a lot of options.

    Camaro should be all wheel drive. No ifs ands or buts ... it's time general motors started doing more , being more than just for profits. Do a higher power hybrid version. Twin charged V6 , or a twin turbo V8 . This same old recipe of supercharged pushrod V8 muscle is a tired dish people will want to get away from easily as other companies start making more exciting, smaller , lighter butt kicking cars . Innovation keeps people with no money buying cars they can't afford. Stagnation, keeps us yawning ...

      @tubeyou0101010 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @g4do - I agree with you. GM didn't give us the LFX and LGX engines until they went bankrupt with the bailout. Before that we got endless 60° V6 motors in F-Body vehicles going back to the 1980's. You're more likely to see innovation from Hyundai / Kia.

    I think I like it better when I dont need a rearview camera mirror to see out of my vehicle just saying and you are playing yourself if you think that "massive" wing is giving you any down force please stick to the facts or we will find a new source for car news

    Where to start....
    1) Fourteen seconds of dicey rear viewing? Really? How is that even a thing for a review in the muscle car segment?
    2) Splitters and side moldings have absolutely nothing to do with increased 0-60 times. Period.
    3) That "pretty significant wing back there" does nothing but look pretty at speeds under 120/125 mph. Your target market doesn't drive that fast.
    4) The "massive amounts of vents" aren't. My guesstimation is that an old Crown Vic cop car uses about the same real estate to keep the engine cool. You do realize that this Camaro, like the Mustang, has many blocked areas behind the "cheese grater" front facia?
    The reviewer does very well reading the cue cards/prompter, but I'm sad to see this level of ignorance in any review. Is this your "diversity hire" as mandated by HR?
