I've recently accepted Christ as my lord and saviour you wouldn't believe what it cost me my friends who i used to smoke with abandoned me as an asocial person i didn't have much friends the devil immediately attacked me at my weakest point "my loneliness" but i stayed strong people may come and go but Jesus will be with me forever stay strong my brothers and sisters..

Its only now Im starting to see the wisdom in this. I've only been a christian for about 5 years and for the first 4 of those I kept my head down and didnt much tell anyone I'd become a christian. But in the last year I've spoken up and fought for God. The push back has been intense. I can see clearly that satan is the "god" of this world. I'll fight the fight and run the race all the way to the end.

There is no high cost or cost for following Christ. My life is thousands of times better with some annoyances here and there but a life full of hope and true joy is never a high cost. Christ already paid for me. Life is "narrow" but full of grace.
If the same Christ, whom you claim, says there is a cost, and you say there is no cost, then shouldn't you reconsider what you're saying?
@@infinityinfinityinfi I think the hard cost is for someone who is prideful and self serving to truly deny oneself and follow God than self. We as humans are weak willed and see temporary pleasures more "filling" than denying ourselves and following God. Because denying yourself for a God you cannot see is quite illogical in a human eye
I must sincerely disagree with you. To deny the person you most love (yourself) is a very expensive cost. It is in our nature to be selfish. There is indeed a high cost following Christ.

He was preaching this in 1983 I was 18 years old how I wished I had heard this. I did not know him nor heard anything about the gospel so I had a hell of life now, I see why.

My Grandma use to listen to Billy Graham when I was a little boy and I didn’t understand the significance of his preaching…. So as a man of 68 I now listen to him and I’m floored at how powerful his preaching really is. I’m always seeking God and yes I repent and yes I’m not perfect as I will sin again but the difference is the Holy Spirit will speak to me when I’m tempted and so I will turn from sin….God Bless Everyone 😊

I dont think i can think of 1 MAJOR pastor to date that i trust as much as this man. A man called from nothing to serve him, and did just that despite the temptations of the world.
Sadly most preachers don't preach like this anymore, a lot but not all of today's preaching seems "watered down" and it make it hard for people to actually get saved...
Today a lot of churches have WOKE, and it's of Satan himself ! GOD HELP us !

I never really graps the concept of cost, regarding following Jesus Christ. But submition to Him, is gradually making it clear... To him be all the glory.
The cost of following Christ is so high that it demands even your whole life to be surrendered to Him. But after all of this, it will be worth it.
Amen. It is very costly. But worth the cost. The alternative is total emptiness, vanity, self-destruction , judgement, hell and ultimately the lake of fire for eternity.

So far I have not seen a cost, let alone a high cost to following my Lord. I am in this world, not of this world so the opinions of the world don't impress me much. I turned my back on Him for a time but returned. I will not deny him again! This world can do nothing to me because they can not offer anything close to what He has promised me!If they kill me, I win. If they persecute me, I win. If they leave me alone, I win. Living life without Jesus is not worth it. God's commandments protect us from destruction. We need wisdom and guidance and God always provides that when we put Him first in our lives. Repenting of our sins is admitting that we need guidance in the life, we dont know everything but disobeying God's commandments is being foolish and prideful, like rejecting a map that will guide you where you need to go. Most people will listen to friends, stock brokers, teachers before we seek God and that is the worst thing we can do. God created this world and He created everything in it including us so He loves us so much that He gave us His most wise commandments and He also gave His only son Jesus to come to this world, suffer because He could have just been in heaven, and die for our sins. God loves us and all we have to is turn to Him, confess our sins, and dont sin anymore. Life goes by so fast, look at all the people in the crowd this was 1983 wow many of those people are gone. How long will life last? Definitely not 1000 years so it is foolish to disobey God and be prideful and put our trust in anything in this world because it will all be gone so it is practically worthless. Obey God's commandments, repent of your sins, and you will spend eternity in heaven with God. God bless you all in Jesus' holy name!!!!!
