Charles Stanley is without a doubt the best teacher of the Word . He speaks truth and knows how to communicate with skills no one else has . Hundreds of preachers out there and many good ones. But Dr Charles Stanley is outstanding and in so grateful for him.
I don't think I'd say he's best, but one of... there are many good preachers all with different strengths and weaknesses, Paul Washer I would say is probably the best of our current time. Either way I can't wait to see the next generation of preachers :)

He loved us so much, he sent his Son, Jesus, to walk this earth then freely give his life on the cross so his sinless life blood would cover our sins, our entry to be with Him in heaven, when we accept Him as Our Savior and ask for forgiveness for our sins. I just realized that there are really good preachers in this world but guarantee not One of them has everything 100% right. I believe God set it up like this so we would not worship man but God Exclusively!!!

I thank you Dr. Stanley for preaching and teaching God’s word. I don’t remember when I first started listening to you, but it has been a very long time. I’m 83 years old, and I pray 🙏 Dr. Stanley will still be preaching when I go to meet my Lord and Savior. He is one of three or four preachers that really preach God’s word. There were times in years past when I would be in a church and the preacher would not be preaching God’s word and I and my wife and 6 children would get up and walk out.

I don't think people are intending to not answer if they are a fallower of Jesus. It's just that people can recognize they believe or they know certain things convict them. To some people they think being baptized equates that they have gotten thus far. It's not bad to be in the journey and it's good to talk about what we each have if we want to. Don't make anyone feel less than they are because you expect a follower to do such and such. Fallowers can pray And be baptized and that's a fallower.

Charles has not been put into the ministry to downplay any of God's children, and Charles will never talk out of his own wisdom, he would not have gotten this far if that was the case! Those 9 simple things, are exactly taught in the Word of God. Growing WITHOUT Trying. “I was told by those who "discipled" me to make sure I ...pray every day, ...read my Bible every day, ...have a quiet time every day, ...and confess my sins every day. I was told I needed to memorize and meditate on Bible verses. I was told to make sure I ...give my time, ...give my talents, ...and give my treasure to God. I was told I needed to ...set aside one hour a week to serve in a ministry at church, ...to set aside one hour a week to be involved in a small group at church, ...and to set aside one hour a week to attend a service at church. I was told I needed to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus. I was told that if I did these things, I would grow in my relationship with God and stay in fellowship with him. However, the only areas I grew in were guilt, shame, and condemnation because I could not follow these daily and weekly practices. I could not follow through on my commitments. I could not follow through on my devotion. And fellowship with God? I felt out of fellowship with him constantly. I was never told what God had done for me by grace through Jesus...not once. Then someone shared with me the good news of God's grace. Someone took the time to teach me the Bible. Someone taught me about the completed work of Jesus through his death and resurrection. Someone taught me that through Jesus I was fully forgiven, completely righteous, totally accepted, and in a love-relationship with God as my Father. Someone taught me about "Christ in me," the One who loved me and gave himself for me. For the first time I began to grow...without even trying! For the first time I began to enjoy fellowship with God without fearing I was out of fellowship. If you have ever felt as I did... If you have felt that you could never fulfill all the religious requirements placed upon you by those who "disciple" you. If you have felt that God was disappointed with you as a result. I have good news for you...no great news for you! What you are trying to do, Jesus has done for you. His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead secured your forgiveness from God and righteousness before God. Everything you are trying to do to earn God's acceptance, grow in your relationship with God, and stay in fellowship with God...he has done for you. Growing in your relationship with God and enjoying fellowship with him is not about your effort. It is about the revelation in your heart and mind of the good news of God's grace that he has lavished upon you through Jesus. It is about the revelation in your heart and mind of the riches of God's grace that he has freely, fully, and forever given to you in Jesus. It is about the revelation in your heart and mind of the love of God for you as a Father. It is about the immeasurable love of Jesus for you. It is about "Christ in you." My prayer for you is that of Paul in his letter to the Ephesians. I pray the Lord would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so you may know God as your loving Father. I pray he would give you a full understanding of the riches of his grace that he has lavished upon you in Jesus. I pray you would come to know the immeasurable love of Jesus for you and be filled with his love deep within your heart. Once the eyes of your heart are opened to see the riches of God's grace and the immeasurable love of Jesus for you, you will no longer live in the condemnation of what you should do as required by the discipleship system that you are part. Rather, you will live in celebration of what God has done for you through Jesus. You will live confidently, knowing you are loved, accepted, and forgiven by God as your loving Father who is full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness toward you. You will find yourself enjoying a love-relationship with God based upon total transparency, openness, and honesty. You will find yourself growing without even trying.”
Forever Free, Hi :) I agree with you. A list of physical tasks and ministry rules/requirements may work for some but following Christ is so much more natural than that. In my walk, I rejected the church and went looking for God/Jesus on my own. After a 26 year journey, Christ had brought me full circle, back to the church I had grown up in but chose to leave because I didn't agree with the way the Lord was being taught or celebrated. Before returning I was filled with the Holy Spirit and told to share the 10 phases my faith went through. Basically, this was my path home but it's also an obvious growth plan that can be used by every Christian. This is a natural progression for growing in Christ Jesus. I titled it the 10 promises of God. Based on personal experience & obvious logic. :) THE TEN PROMISES OF GOD! [] Come and you will hear. [] Hear and you will understand. [] Understand and you will try. [] Try and you will succeed. [] Succeed and you will believe. [] Believe and you will trust. [] Trust and you will love. [] Love and you will serve. Thank you for this I hope people come to read this.These sermons are great for everyone,but people need to learn that no matter how many times you stumble unintentionally we can go back to God's path with no shame but with whole repentance so we can get back on track. It's not one battle it's a war we must fight by spreading what you just wrote to people. Despite of everything we are worthy because of Jesus. Charles Stanley is without a doubt the best teacher of the Word . He speaks truth and knows how to communicate with skills no one else has . Hundreds of preachers out there and many good ones. But Dr Charles Stanley is outstanding and in so grateful for him.
I don't think I'd say he's best, but one of... there are many good preachers all with different strengths and weaknesses, Paul Washer I would say is probably the best of our current time. Either way I can't wait to see the next generation of preachers :)

He loved us so much, he sent his Son, Jesus, to walk this earth then freely give his life on the cross so his sinless life blood would cover our sins, our entry to be with Him in heaven, when we accept Him as Our Savior and ask for forgiveness for our sins. GOD, through the scriptures gives an additional gift to His kids, the gift of the Holy Spirit🙏. So God is Jesus is Holy Spirit...a Triune SAVIOR. Amazing, isn't it? Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! There are walls in my mind that all the riches in Christ are locked behind because of doubts that came straight from the devil. I've been getting stronger and my strength comes from Jesus and I pray that I will do all that is required for all that is given and to endure the narrow path of righteousness all the days of my life. Please pray for me and for everyone whose hearts cry out to the Lord and even those that are looking for God but don't know it

I thank you Dr. Stanley for preaching and teaching God’s word. I don’t remember when I first started listening to you, but it has been a very long time. I’m 83 years old, and I pray 🙏 Dr. Stanley will still be preaching when I go to meet my Lord and Savior. He is one of three or four preachers that really preach God’s word. There were times in years past when I would be in a church and the preacher would not be preaching God’s word and I and my wife and 6 children would get up and walk out.

I don't think people are intending to not answer if they are a fallower of Jesus. It's just that people can recognize they believe or they know certain things convict them. To some people they think being baptized equates that they have gotten thus far. It's not bad to be in the journey and it's good to talk about what we each have if we want to. Don't make anyone feel less than they are because you expect a follower to do such and such. Fallowers can pray And be baptized and that's a fallower.
notice how , by fighting your convictions you attack the pastor's message. Charles has not been put into the ministry to downplay any of God's children, and Charles will never talk out of his own wisdom, he would not have gotten this far if that was the case! Those 9 simple things, are exactly taught in the Word of God. The Good news , is that every single believer has the Holy Spirit within them, and it's God's purpose to bring it into fruition that these 9 simple things are expressed outwardly by His children. God will never save someone in time, and leave them be at the same spot. He is always building us, always teaching us, always molding us to be like His Son. and His Son did all these 9 simple things.

“I was told by those who "discipled" me to make sure I
...pray every day,
...read my Bible every day,
...have a quiet time every day,
...and confess my sins every day.
I was told I needed to memorize and meditate on Bible verses.
I was told to make sure I
...give my time,
...give my talents,
...and give my treasure to God.
I was told I needed to
...set aside one hour a week to serve in a ministry at church,
...to set aside one hour a week to be involved in a small group at church,
...and to set aside one hour a week to attend a service at church.
I was told I needed to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus.
I was told that if I did these things, I would grow in my relationship with God and stay in fellowship with him.
However, the only areas I grew in were guilt, shame, and condemnation because I could not follow these daily and weekly practices.
I could not follow through on my commitments.
I could not follow through on my devotion.
And fellowship with God?
I felt out of fellowship with him constantly.
I was never told what God had done for me by grace through Jesus...not once.
Then someone shared with me the good news of God's grace.
Someone took the time to teach me the Bible.
Someone taught me about the completed work of Jesus through his death and resurrection.
Someone taught me that through Jesus I was fully forgiven, completely righteous, totally accepted, and in a love-relationship with God as my Father.
Someone taught me about "Christ in me," the One who loved me and gave himself for me.
For the first time I began to grow...without even trying!
For the first time I began to enjoy fellowship with God without fearing I was out of fellowship.
If you have ever felt as I did...
If you have felt that you could never fulfill all the religious requirements placed upon you by those who "disciple" you.
If you have felt that God was disappointed with you as a result.
I have good news for you...no great news for you!
What you are trying to do, Jesus has done for you.
His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead secured your forgiveness from God and righteousness before God.
Everything you are trying to do to earn God's acceptance, grow in your relationship with God, and stay in fellowship with God...he has done for you.
Growing in your relationship with God and enjoying fellowship with him is not about your effort.
It is about the revelation in your heart and mind of the good news of God's grace that he has lavished upon you through Jesus.
It is about the revelation in your heart and mind of the riches of God's grace that he has freely, fully, and forever given to you in Jesus.
It is about the revelation in your heart and mind of the love of God for you as a Father.
It is about the immeasurable love of Jesus for you.
It is about "Christ in you."
My prayer for you is that of Paul in his letter to the Ephesians.
I pray the Lord would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so you may know God as your loving Father.
I pray he would give you a full understanding of the riches of his grace that he has lavished upon you in Jesus.
I pray you would come to know the immeasurable love of Jesus for you and be filled with his love deep within your heart.
Once the eyes of your heart are opened to see the riches of God's grace and the immeasurable love of Jesus for you, you will no longer live in the condemnation of what you should do as required by the discipleship system that you are part.
Rather, you will live in celebration of what God has done for you through Jesus.
You will live confidently, knowing you are loved, accepted, and forgiven by God as your loving Father who is full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness toward you.
You will find yourself enjoying a love-relationship with God based upon total transparency, openness, and honesty.
You will find yourself growing without even trying.”
Forever Free, Hi :) I agree with you. A list of physical tasks and ministry rules/requirements may work for some but following Christ is so much more natural than that. In my walk, I rejected the church and went looking for God/Jesus on my own. After a 26 year journey, Christ had brought me full circle, back to the church I had grown up in but chose to leave because I didn't agree with the way the Lord was being taught or celebrated. Before returning I was filled with the Holy Spirit and told to share the 10 phases my faith went through. Basically, this was my path home but it's also an obvious growth plan that can be used by every Christian. This is a natural progression for growing in Christ Jesus. I titled it the 10 promises of God. Based on personal experience & obvious logic. :)
