Some very good advice at the end anywhere about working for yourself. 20 years ago I was told by a colleague “you should work for yourself, why work as hard as you do for someone else”. That’s echoed around my head for a long long time, and I wished I’d acted upon it. I’ve been the model employee, go anywhere, do anything and I’ve enjoyed it, but I’ve made other people rich instead of myself. Now, it’s too late for me, my health isn’t the best ( the product of an accident in work 15 years back ) and I regret not even trying.
Having dad as backup are priceless moments. Mine was my mentor in mechanic maintenance's for a long Time. Cool fact I'm taking care of that now even if I still like to having him not to far away😁
i have been watching your videos for a while i have learned so much as being a part time detailer and valeter...what products to use ect ... come weekends with valeting thas what i love you are doing diffrent cars meeting diffrent people going diffrent places ... you cant put a price on something you love 👍

Another thing you said was "don't hit the thumbs down" i know you were only joking but in case you weren't aware, the algortythm sees thumbs up and thumbs down as the same value. It doesn't matter it's all classed as "engagement" and any of that is positive. Looking forward to the update on the power washer - holding out for that one before commiting.
Love your videos! If I may; Top fluid transfer tip! Turn the full container so the hole is at the top for a smooth pour and twist as the contents get lower!

Another great video. On the topic of the AVA snow cannon, yes it is a bit "thirsty" on foam and the bottle does not screw well into the plastic body. AVA are bringing out the PN38 which as well as having a brass body, has an adjuster screw on the top to alter the water / shampoo mix. I'll be ordering one as soon as they come out!

I enjoyed this video. Have a look at anachem purge fallout remover. It doesn't have the awful smell. And it is the best one I have come across. We use a lot of anachem products decent prices for decent performance..

@@epicautomotivedetailing yes I've been doing it for over 20 year's and yes things have moved on the stuff you can use is amazing but sometimes you don't have time or the car is just not worth the bother as long as you customer's are happy .all it come down to is experience I.e know what to give each car some more some less and still make them happy and knowing how to get your self out of trouble when things go wrong .don't worry about people silly negative comments most of them can't clean cars anyway. You seem to have a lovely relationship with your dad family is so important

Interesting choice of gear. Very different to many detailers. Surprised you don’t use Bilt Hamber products. I’ve used Carpro, Koch etc but find these to be the best and so cost effective. I’ve given him a go once; with the shampoo. Not bad, quite slick.

When you were showing off the Mini at 17m00s I noticed that the brake disc had that orange tint that appears like surface rust. I am told that spraying some Bilt Hamber Atom Mac alleviates this. And just wondering if you have tried this? Thanks.

Cheers mate. Yeah the whole filming and actually doing the work at same time is relentless. Think we pressed record button about 400 times that day. So much footage didn't make the cut so we only kept 25 mins out of 6 hours. 😬
I'm assuming you have change the brass nozzle tip to a 1.1 in the foam bottle nozzle, that way you get thick foam and use very little foam cleaner. Keep up the good work
Thanks mate hard to say because i dont have an outright favourite. I like some of the valet pro leather cleaners and soaps at the moment. Infinity wax also pretty good too

Another 'epic' video! though im not sure the m&s milk is the reason for the good cuppa!! what polish would you use on the paint on the wrangler? is there such a thing as a matt finish wax? or doesn't ordinary wax make it look shiny? if you know what I mean? Keep up the fab work
Great show Dave. I have to side with the Pops on the foam though - it was gloriously thick. PS: if the van isn't accelerating, try a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in the petrol tank next fill up. Clogged injectors might be behind sluggish acceleration.

Hi Ian to be honest I haven't used that one. Auto finesse get mixed reviews but I'm sure they wouldn't release a product without giving it a fair test. I may try some bits out soon for the channel

I have watching your videos the last few days now, I had mobile detailing buisness here denmark before I moved to norway. I brought along a 1000 liter water tank. But where do you get water and electricity? What if someone lives in an apartment or in the cities? Great videos , Thanks in advance.

I know that hill so well! My first car was a 1981 998cc mini and if I didn’t get enough run up I’d have to put it in first gear to get up the last bit - and it only had 4 gears! Also who puts RED leather in their Jeep 🤮. You can be rich and have no class. Great video!

Great video again dave! Bought an AVA washer myself after watching your first video on them, opted for the GO P55 and love it snowfoam does dissappear after half a car and mine is only a Leon 🤦♂️ best keep some snowfoam pre measured out for the old man to load up next time 😂

I ve given autoglyms ceramic wax, wow it’s brilliant!. Very modest of you” I m just a car valeter” . I don’t think so the level of cleaning, attention to detail is amazing!

i usually put iron decon on before and after wash and rinse again if im doing a really decon wash works flawless!

Thanks mate hard to say because i dont have an outright favourite. I like some of the valet pro leather cleaners and soaps at the moment. Infinity wax also pretty good too

Great show Dave. I have to side with the Pops on the foam though - it was gloriously thick.
PS: if the van isn't accelerating, try a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in the petrol tank next fill up. Clogged injectors might be behind sluggish acceleration.
That van has been on its last legs for years 😂
Well, a little PM goes a long way. May be overdue for a tune up - spark plugs, fuel filters, hi mileage full synthetic oil, etc.. 🙃

Hi Ian to be honest I haven't used that one. Auto finesse get mixed reviews but I'm sure they wouldn't release a product without giving it a fair test. I may try some bits out soon for the channel

I have watching your videos the last few days now, I had mobile detailing buisness here denmark before I moved to norway. I brought along a 1000 liter water tank. But where do you get water and electricity? What if someone lives in an apartment or in the cities? Great videos , Thanks in advance.

I know that hill so well! My first car was a 1981 998cc mini and if I didn’t get enough run up I’d have to put it in first gear to get up the last bit - and it only had 4 gears! Also who puts RED leather in their Jeep 🤮. You can be rich and have no class. Great video!

It's 100% identical to p180 apart from longer hose and no chemical tank built in. I have one coming for review soon. My nilfisk p180 is incredible

Great video again dave! Bought an AVA washer myself after watching your first video on them, opted for the GO P55 and love it snowfoam does dissappear after half a car and mine is only a Leon 🤦♂️ best keep some snowfoam pre measured out for the old man to load up next time 😂

Enjoyed watching this episode, all these brands I ve never heard of before. Being someone who just uses off the shelf stuff! Is all I can afford really. I ve given autoglyms ceramic wax, wow it’s brilliant!. Very modest of you” I m just a car valeter” . I don’t think so the level of cleaning, attention to detail is amazing!
