- My favorite show and one of my favorite songs. Sounds so awesome. Be sure to pick up the whole show on the live downloads site. Its among the best!
UPDATE 4/‘23: The official CRB Live Downloads site is long gone now unfortunately. I have saved some CRB taped shows on my website at www.bokonon.net/
My wife loved this song, but we never heard this version. I want to think she heard it in heaven and directed it to me.
Awww Neal. Sure miss ya buddy.
0:47 0:49 😮❤
Chris Robinson and Blackberry Smoke are the REAL deal. Grateful to both.
and dont forget The Revivalists!
I’m 64 years old and when the Black Crowes came out in early eighties they were great group and great music. Thank you 😊
Chris Robinson ladies and gents. One ☝️ f the iconic 90s voices that is still alive and getting better with age toon. Appreciate him before he’s no longer with us like Chris and so many others . I’m grateful to have grown up on those great bands the last of the real rockers for sure. Glad he made a comeback and I hope he keeps it goin.
I met him once in a random restaurant. Black Crowe, widespread were features in Richmond. Also Dave Matthews
Hell yea dude
Heard a guy say he could listen to Chris sing the phone book.
I miss this band. I miss Neal. It was so great. I think In 20 years when others discover them, this music will have legs. Some music just keeps getting better while others crumble.
i agree Andrew. first few years OG lineup were magical to witness!
Then they'll go...."what the hell happened!" Tragic ending!
Neal was a 🎵.
He elevated ...and next leveled every band he was in.
I love there music since shake your money maker,

This is a great group…rest easy, Neal & God bless! 🖤
You know when you get a chill and the hair on your arm stands up you are listening to a great band.
Thats exactly how I felt listening to this song and reading your comment. Ty
Every time.😀
Love that feeling! Just saw one of my favorite local bands and got the chills. The whole band is solid, but that guitarist is something else! Heavy blues/rock sorta like SRV.
Live music rules!
@@marksavage1744 Yeah dude! Fab band!
I am so bored with so much music....then I heard you guys. You guys have my insides touched. Just amazing....real talent...freakin' Wow.
Man,I love chris.one of a kind singer, love that blues in him. Hats off to black crows also.
crowes
i always LOVED music. i got it...and learned it was for sharing. It was the early 1990s when i was about 22 and i saw The Black Crowes live for the first time. I believe it was the HIGH AS THE MOON tour to "support" The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion Album. Chicago...Aragon Ballroom. They opened with track 9..."Dizzy Found Me Last Night!" And...they had a conga player with them. That was it! I then became a pro bongo boy! for real. People would make fun of me when they asked who my biggest influence was and instead of saying Patato or Raul Rekow or Giovanni Hidalgo or Willie Bobo or his son Eric who helped out the Beastie Boys...I would say CHRIS ROBINSON!
This is the greatest remake of "Never Been to Spain' I've ever heard in my life. God bless Chris Robinson. He will always have a vintage voice so soulful a man who will always be a hippie.
Yep 🙏
Are those the original lyrics?
Wow! Wow! Wow! P from the beautiful state of Vt
very good, I agree - HOWEVER, it's tough to top Elvis' version in my opinion.
I learned now : I dont know anything abbout goood music !!!!!!!!!! The best songs you will never hear on radio. This Band is or was so goooooooood. I`m on the way to bring my old CD´s outside in the dust. This is music, so soulfull and clear, Thankx You Tube to bring me here
Great song made even better w the blues vibe ❤️
Chris Robinson and Steve Marriott. Pretty special brand of soul in those two. RIP Steve.
Mr. Robinson's voice is nothing less than iconic. soul. soul. soul.
Yup, yup , yup.
He is also keeping the Jam Band, folk soul alive,"along with others of course" His voice sounds vintage...70ish
Three Dog Night

Best Version EVER made of this Jam, Well Done Chris & Brotherhood Well Done!
Great cover from one of the best singers of our time. Thanks, Chris!
Love the groove and soul they bring. Finally a group that plays music for the love of music. Best part is they expose us to "new" artists. Just look up some of these songs, and the original artists, SO glad to be introduced to Harpo Slim! Love it! Keep taking us down new paths CRB! Thanks!
I no him lives around the corner rock on chris
I was fortunate enough to have seen this band, my absolute favorite concert. PERIOD
Just an incredible sound!!! God surely Blessed these Gentlemen!!
Or Satan
Had the extreme pleasure of helping CRB with their gear when they played the Kitchener Bluesfest ...they absolutely floored the place ....Godspeed Neal ..May you be at peace dear brother .....cheers to Chris for getting the birds AKA The Black Crowes up and flying again ....I hope hootie the owl continues touring with you ....see you in Darien Lake 2020
Sublime. Just a great groove. Such soul!
This band is like some Allman bros vibes with some Grateful Dead vibes mixed together with a huge soulful voice. Just doesn't get much better then that.
The BEST cover of this song ever, love CRB, and all the BlackCrowes songs. AWESOME DUDE!!!! Please keep it going CRB.
Been such a long time since I have listened to Chris.... Black Crow's was one of the new era of the 80s....love the laid back and blues sound they have going on in this one...
Great voices!! Love these guys 🥰 this old three dog night tune done very well ❤️👍👍

Best band since the Stones!
Southern boys!!!!
Great music
Could have been America's Rolling Stones.....
If im not mistaken, I think they are from Spartanburg, about 45 minutes from me. There's nothing down in South Carolina to do BUT play the blues! Lol
@@aaronpollard4966 nope Marietta GA, Chris Robinson, rest of this band from Cali. Black Crowes are from GA, no SC, sorry
I have been to Spain. It didn't sound like this. This is cool
They remind me of the Rolling Stones with Some Allman Brothers mixed in. Chris Robinson is a great Front Man.
Og crb was the best. Just a passing moment in time….
Soulful, beautiful Chris. Wish I could go to Kill Devil Hills next week to see the Brotherhood.
Chris Robinson, say no more
Where have I been? These guys are great. Thanks for the share

The Three Dog Night, a great band ,must just love this bomb version!!!!
Hoyt Axton
Wish I could hear all the crows, remedy is the best song ever, and your, voice is worth billions, do the world a favor, twist up a blunt, hit that, backwoods shine, and bring the crows back for all time. Rock on bro😎🇺🇸

Yeah buddy

Best version I ever heard
Okay. I must rescind my first reaction. This fucking kicks ass. Can’t stop listening. Of course Elvis and the ensemble kicked ass but this is just as good. In a different way.
a really great recording,,,
that guy on Fender Rhodes is KILLIN it
Adam MacDougall
I think Hoyt would love this!! Somewhere out there I'm sure he is listening. The singer may die but the song will remain.
Hoyt Axton would approve of this.
Kind of song you don't want to end
No doubt just keep naming city's,country's...
Love the original version by Three Dog Night.
Might like this one even more!
The original was by Hoyt Axton. The three dog night version was a cover, too.
Nah, TDN's version does it for me more than anyone's. RIP, Corey Wells.
@@voodoobill: I saw Hoyt at a club in Boston. He's was an awesome storyteller. He played, drank and told stories for about 2 hours. TDN also covered his bullfrog song. Hoyt did them better imo. He's in music heaven jamming with the greats from Bach to Hendrix and more.
Edit: the Summer of '73 or "74.
From 1972 THEM 70s Baby
Hung out with Mark Dutton as a kid. I grew up too slow I guess. Glad you made it.
Met him once. Nice guy.
@@professormacdeezyYes. His entire family is awesome. Good people.
Thanks for this fantastic upload!
This version is great chris is deff an iconic singer and black crows were one of a kind sound
Depending on what mood I'm in, Elvis, Three Dog Night, or this version. Like them all!👌💯
Kent Ellis let’s not forget Waylon Jennings Version
Same here dude. Sometimes you can play them back to back to back ending with this✌️
Has a nice touch of Allman Bros. sound to it 🏴☠️
😎 cool sound!
Époustouflante version magnifique quel talent!!!!!!!!
Love it 💓😊
Damn... These boys are bad ass!
I like this too great stuff right here
great sound
cant believe i had to scroll so far down to hear mention of the writer(the great Hoyt Axton)
he's a legendary songwriter/musician.Yah his version is simply the best..Glad the likes of famous artist like Chris Robinson are picking up this great song
3 dog night had it
@@keithleblanc4656 loved three dog night too but after listening to both again hoyt's is still the best (my opinion) thanks for yours
@@edwardkarell466what you think the elvis version and 3 dog night the most known version 3 dog night had a hit with it
@@keithleblanc4656 sure they did and good for them they were popular doesnt make them better on this particular song..steppenwolf had a big hit with the pusher guess who wrote it
@@edwardkarell466 a cross between otis redding and janis joplin good singer chris
Hoyt Axton wrote this song. He was the son of Mae Axton who wrote Heartbreak Hotel.
And Three Dog Night recorded it back in the '70s and had a big hit. There was more good music written in the 70s than there is today.
And he appeared in The Gremlins
@@alan4sure amen....
@@alan4sure And Jeremiah was a bullfrog.
@@sartainja was a good friend of mine...
R.i.P Neal. amazing

WOW!!!!!! I NEVER THOUGHT THERE WOULD NEVER BE ANOTHER ELVIS!!!,...But, I see now, I was WRONG~!!! I LOVE THIS !~~ the old and the new!~ Chris R. is Amazing!! his Voice and EVERYTHING about him!!! HE IS ~Beautiful~ !!!
He's no Elvis.
I was like, "Is that the Black Crowes lead singer?"... and it is!!! ;)
Guitar solo reminds me of Mick Taylor. These guys are my favorite new band by a mile.
Mick Taylor and Elvin Bishop
nedcronin man Neal really has it doesn't he. This is the real.
crowes rock put a person in a great place
We miss you here, Neal!
Bring it makes no difference I been off and on so long brutal way to exist. I still love and live.
This Voice !!!!
Its to bad the Black Crows broke up , and Chris and his brother couldn't work things out. However, the Phoenix that rose from those ashes The Chris Robinson Brotherhood Band... damn fine music!
Bubba Gump, I like Magpie Salute with most of the Black Crowes led by Rich Robinson.
@@SeamusEnigma ..trying get into Magpie going to see them soon.
They’re back !
They've gotten back together since 4 years ago.
Gotta Love it
That whole Spain part is definitely about Ibiza.....not really I know lol, but yeah it fits.🤩
This is my favorite new band so glad to see the Crows tour didn't end them and that they'll be playing at Mountain Jam. Brotherhood has the 2nd best keyboardist in jam and southern rock, and maybe the 1st will be there too(he joined Warren at Christmas Jam): Dr. Dan and the Looters - Those Ways (Official Video) by Layden, Matrazzo
I'm listening to this Jam right now I'm wondering how Chris Robinson and Duane Allman would get along I bet you'd be great habit
I just bought my tix for CRB in November 2018, can't wait! My 2nd time! RIP Hoyt Axton, Oklahoman, what a great song! Legendary!
RE VISIT ITT ED!. 70$ ROCKING STILL!.

I remember back in mid 80s a little bar rock house on rochester rd. with a strange name like karoties or something like that, there they were jammin this little hole in the wall......my buddie said watch these guys there gonna be big, here they are later after jamming with jimmy page and the likes across the page, wow those were the dayss.....
Yah those were the day! Glad I was there. Chris's voice is unique, love him. Patty from Vt

Great upload! TY!
SHEER BEAUTY, STRENGTH AND POTENCY OF AN INTERPRETATION ... AS EVEN THREE DOG NIGHT WOULDST PROBABLY AGREE !!!
Dear publisher 'Vi Cross' ... 'Spanish blesiings' be unto thee ... eternally ... (rhyme) !!!
I play this song for my grandkids
Chris Robinson lately. CRB morning music. Like that Sour Kush with this cut. The weed solidifies the music. Missed Chris a few weeks back in my hometown Denver. I totally blew it.
Anthony Burnam mush love for CRB
Had tix to see the Crowes in July. Virus pushed it up to July 2021. 30th anniversary of Shake Your Money Maker tour. Or in this case the 31st anniv. by next yr. Was very surprised to see Never Been to Spain. I was probably 14 at the time this hit AM radio. Another big hit for 3 Dog Night. I did sing one line differently. Never been to England but I kind'a Love the Beatles!
Even better than the 3 Dog Night version. Can't beat Chris' voice man. Unreal
I Y I,
Chris Robinson brings new life to cover songs of many artists- 3 dog night, Dylan, Velvet underground, rolling stones, grateful dead, little feat, Beatles, temptations, moby grape
hugs!
I owned this 3 dog night on 45rpm.....atta boy chris.....ya put a huge fuck'n lump in my throat, 3mile smile,.....fired one up....just grooved on it....thanx man......
Love this song, fantastic cover...... The late great Hoyt Axton left an enduring legacy.
