Beautiful song written by a Canadian in 1970. A song that touches my heart. You see, I'm the old engine that got tired of untruthful relationships and found a woman who became the driving wheel I lost.
Lost mom today. And heard this today. I’m gettin up there at 59 but I’m going make it. My wheels still rock in rolla. Thanks for your jams fellows. Be blessed.
I lost my mom about six months before you and am a couple years older than you. These guys have such a soulful sound and have an honest take on life that connects.

Julia Dixon - Trumps got my vote again in 2020. He’s been the most effective president in my lifetime so far. I honestly don’t understand how someone who considers themself anything but left wing wouldn’t vote for him. He could phrase things better sometimes but I’ll take substance over style . As far as immigration goes we are a sovereign nation that deserves to have our borders respected and we deserve to know who’s coming in and why. That’s not to much to ask. If your a Republican who else would you vote for ?I doubt you would want anyone from the left.
I too went to a Tom Rush concert in '70. Needless to say some of his songs are a little sad. At one point, in the middle of one song, I looked around and half the audience was at various stages of crying.
This entire album is truly a gift, I think about it and it's constantly on my mind all the time. It's like the sunset above the water and the moon light that shines on within and you drink in every drop and love the fact that you have have it all

Just because you have God given talent as musicians, instrumentalists and vocalists, don`t mean you have a pleasant and compliant personality. These Ego`s need strong people with own opinions to stand against them,or else they just roll all over you. I have followed the Black Crowes for more than 20 years..it`s the tension in the band, that made the crowes stand out and the god given talent in singer/songwriter department. Greetings from Norway.
