On my 92 I have the fuel screw all the way in, but was told to make sure the idle is turned down before you start the truck, that's what causes the runaway. It's been like that for a few years now and haven't had an issue. I also have the throttle arm turned so it's on the 3rd notch instead of the 2nd and the part of the arm that rests on the on the idle adjustable is ground down, puts more tension and on the gov spring essentially.
Power screw tuning = with engine running turn it in a bit, blip the throttle....once the rpms start to hang you know you are close to run away. Then back it out until rpm no longer hangs. Thats max power for a given set up. And just ditch the idle screw if tou have the pump top off, use the linkage dog bone to adjust idle!
I would look into if an optical pickup is available for integration to your dyno for reading engine rpms. Back in the day that is how Dunbar had his dyno setup slap a reflector on the crank and point the pickup at it and the dyno has the engine rpms. That keeps the torque value accurate. I noticed it said on yours peak torque was 1300rpm but I think that is because it’s losing wheel speed thru the trans so the rpms it thinks the engine is turning is actually lower than it really is.

You can use a fine tip flat screw driver wayyy easier than a pick it is a pain but can be done

What's your opinion on bumping timing when you have a dynamic timing spacer?

Check your fuel pressure.
If it is a non intercooled. The turbo could use a upgrade
What if i turned the idle down before adding more fuel?
