In the original Tarzan book Terk is a boy, but Disney made him a girl

njsnow04 I know this was 6 years ago but in the musical I think he’s a boy. They made him a girl in the movie because they wanted Rosie O’Donnell to play the part really bad after her audition so they rewrote Terk as a girl.

Manestream I know this was 8 years ago but Rafiki is a girl isn’t the Lion King musical because the director of that production thought that wasn’t a female supporting part
