BK23 you helped me pair my Sansui 9090 with my iPhone 7 using a BluDento BLT-HD a few months back. I am very pleased with its performance. You're right it's not CD quality however the distinction is negligible. The cost was just over $100. The end results are worth the cost. Thank you :)

I connect out through the headphone out, straight into my vintage amp via rca. Cheap and easy. 😉👍

Try this technique, it does sound better. ( proper impedance )

Will this also work with a IPod 6th generation?
    (no headphone jack)
    Thank you.

IDK. If you can get audio out the pod using a lightning jack then I would imagine it would work.. Sorry wish I could better help you.

How about Bluetooth from the stereo to speakers? Instead of phone can I use Echo?

I'm breaking my broken brain buying little devices and connectors in an attempt to play pandora thru the Schiit modi3. Nothing is working so far. Amplifier is a vintage sansui 2000X. (Not that it matters).
Maybe a powered usb micro hub is needed?
Please, sir....another video for us 5 yr old galaxy users with the Modi 3..???

Its been a while since I have had a Galaxy S7. I know you get analog audio out but I dont think you can get digital out like in this video.

I go from iPhone into the amplifier out to speakers. How do I prevent volume loss? CD’s play much louder.

Use this method, it sounds best. You are sending audio via the phones DSP (yuk!) . Also the impedance for headphones is incorrect as far as RCA line level is concerned. So by adding a outboard DSP with RCA line level (@ 2v+ RMS) out will drastically improve your SQ. IMHO

My receiver doesn’t have auxiliary. Can I plug it into tape or cd on my receiver?

Yes, either Tape in or CD in will work great

    Bit of a expensive deal.
A BT box will set you back $20 & connect it to the back via a phono to phono cable or 3,5 to phono cable.

I've thought the same bought a $30 Amazon Bluetooth 5.0 receiver tryed it out four a couple weeks but just didn't hold up to any other audio source in my opinion sonically. Decided to try the Ifi Zen Blue v2 $200 and wow did I hear a difference the sound stage came alive the details were astounding almost rivaling CDs on my system I would never go back.

I tried doing this with my iPhone 11 and a SMSL SU-1 DAC but the phone wouldn’t power the DAC
