  • It doesn't matter how old or new your amplifier is, you can always connect our phone, tablet, pc or laptop on it and play your music. It is very cheap and you only need a: ( jack - tulp cable ) or ( 3.5 jack to 2 RCA jacks ) or ( 3.5mm To RCA Male Y Cable ) or ( Rca 2 Audio 3.5mm ) or ( 3.5mm Male Plug to Dual 2 RCA Jack Cable )...The shops who sell these cables use different names for it but they are all the same.
    You can plug the RCA plugs in aux, tape in, cd and many more.
    With this cable you can:
    Connect your phone to a amplifier
    Connect your phone to a receiver
    Connect your phone to a stereo ore 7.1 receiver
    Connect your tablet to a amplifier
    Connect your tablet to a receiver
    Connet your laptop to a amplifier
    Connect your laptop to a receiver
    Connect your computer to a receiver
    Connect your computer to a amplifier

    It is embarrassing how so many people around the World can speak their native language and English. I admire their intelligence and ability. I'm an old American. All I can speak is English. BTW, thank you sir for this instructional video.

    I'm an up and coming producer, working full time/60hr a week and raising my daughter. So building an at home studio is a challenge, I was given a 1995 jvc all in one receiver/amp/tape deck CD player and just KNEW of be able to use it.

    This individual is correct that you CAN connect your smartphone or tablet to an older stereo system, but what he doesn't mention is that it's not the ideal setup for the best sound. Why? The Line-in on stereo systems is designed for a certain signal strength and impedance, which would be the Line-out from a device. The output on your smartphone or tablet is not a line-out; it's designed for headphones or earbuds. Will it work and maybe sound pretty decent? Sure. But it's not ideal. If trying to get the best sound out of this setup is not that big of a deal for you, then it will work. But if it does matter, since smartphones and tablets don't have a line-out, the best thing to do would be to get yourself a blue tooth device that has a line-out. The line-out gets connected to the line-in on your stereo system, and you connect your smartphone or tablet to the blue tooth device. You will get better sound this way than directly connecting your device to the stereo.

      @777danieler: complete crap. Bluetooth is rubbish. Use this way, use the c jack or whatever you have and put a plugin DAC.

    • @777Danieler
      @777Danieler 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@karlos543 Complete crap??? First of all, took you three years to reply to my comment. I had to go back and look to see what I had said. Like I said, we're talking about the output of a smartphone or tablet, which is not the greatest, so no matter what you connect to those devices other than earbuds or headphones, it's not a good impedance match. And if someone is getting audio out of a smartphone or tablet, which like I said is not exactly audiophile quality, why are you going to be wasting decent equipment to connect to them. Sorry, not all of us are audiophiles like you, apparently. And by the way, opening a comment replying to someone with 'complete crap' won't really endear you to a decent discussion with anyone.

    My iphone SE 2 has a lightning connector, if I connect it to the lightning-to-jack cable, and connect that to the RCA-to-jack cable, and connect it tonthe amplifier it gives a lot of noise when I touch it and it disrupts the musicplayer of the iphone, the music plays back very fast forward or backwards.

  • @josefedericopresno6668
    @josefedericopresno6668 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Cable Jack to RCA doesn't work with most of smartphones, because of Low impedance in the source meeting high impedance on the destination reduces the frequency response, tailored in the phone for matched (or closed to matched) impedance.
    Additionally, compared to line out, headphone jack has it's own noise coming from the headphone amplifier chip and the volume control. Even worse, mobile phone provides very low Vpp (peak to peak voltage), making measuring the pressure a challenge to the amplifier. Depending on the quality of the amplifier, it's own noise might become audible, especially if the volume needs to be set high. In the end, there might be three different quality reductions, in the worst case resulting as low bass not audible and noise added from both the source and the amp.

    @joetjoepjoeserneejm 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very useful, but can you also show it the other way around?
    What I mean is: sound coming out of your amplifier connecting to a computer. I don't know if that's possible with a cable from the line out/pre out or record out?
    It could be very nice to get sound from my tuner, cassette deck or turntable on my computer's hard drive that way.
    I know you can buy usb turntable and there are cassette decks that digitize cassettes and everything, but I don't want that kind of equipment in my house.
    What I would like is to store the sounds coming from my amplifier onto the hard drive of my pc, using my vintage turntable/cassette deck/tuner
    That way my music would be safe and I would not have to worry so much if a rare record gets worn out or a tape snaps, because I can have a good sounding digital version on my hard drive. It would also help to compare the before and after if I change a needle or something else on my equipment.
    It would be great if you could make a video how to do this in a way that everybody understands, just like you did in this video. Maybe it's more complicated but I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know this. Thanks!

    Met 'streamless wifi' bedoel je waarschijnlijk de Chomecast audio? Maar het streamen gaat over het verzenden. Dus dat heet dan 'wireless streaming' ;) Maar misschien wist je dit al en maakte je gewoon een foutje.
    Je telefoon, wat is dat voor toestel? Heb je die alleen voor de stereospeakers gekozen of heeft deze ook een goede, luide uitgang over de jack-aansluiting? Jammer dat bij veel nieuwe telefoons die aansluiting aan het verdwijnen is. Zelfs de nieuwe Sony-toestellen hebben het niet meer. Hopelijk houden ze er niet volledig mee op. Gelukkig hebben de Samungs het nog wel. Hopelijk doet LG het ook nog. De V30 heeft echt een goede versterker ingebouwd zitten en de DAC is ook goed.

    • @vintagestereo
      @vintagestereo  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ik vind dat telefoons 2 front forwarding speakers moeten hebben, vaak is dit niet het geval om de telefoon platter te kunnen maken. Ik heb een lenovo vibe X3 c70, heeft een sabre dac aan boord perfect geluid als je het via een 3.5 jack speelt over je versterker. als ik de telefoon als navigatie in mijn auto gebruik hoor ik ook een goed geluid door de speakers die naar voren zijn gericht. de v30 is perfect maar wel erg duur
