What rig do you use to catch a paddle board or swimming cap?

I use fox predator rig bins there's a foam tube inside I use them for my piking snap tackle my longer barbel hook lengths and also for my jigger floats I've got 6 rigs made up but you'd easily get another 6 in and with them being sealed in a tub they can't get damaged or squashed

brilliantly explained as usual Andy, What type of top kit would be best, match or carp? I'm getting an edge monster soon and never pole fished before?

Short kits would be the first choice for this (they tend to come in just the one rating with most poles) or if not a standard match kit would do the job.

Where can you buy the jigger floats from ? Ever place I've looked are discontinued

Go to your local tackle shop if they don't have preston dibbrfs and ask for a line through dibber for jigging & some float stops

I can't see why it would not work for Carp!

It does work for carp, but if there are a lot F1s, they usually beat the carp to the bait.
