      Hi Terry thank you.
      Does take a little bit of sorting out and you might find it easier with pattern of float.
      It’s something I do get asked in the shop and it’s something that will make a difference.
      So my plan is to do a video and all being well show how it works.
      But in the meantime
      If you can picture the float tip as it is an indicator. It will show bites not only as it goes under but as lift bites or as we call them hold ups.
      The only way you can do this is by using the full length of the float tip.
      Obviously weather conditions etc etc can and will change this but if we keep simple.
      Imagine the float tip has three colours yellow first above that red then black.
      I’d would shot the float with the bulk taking the float so nearly all the yellow has gone. Stage one float set
      I’d probably have a couple of dropper shot that would take the float to red. Stage two
      As that final and third dropper settles the float tip will be primed and ready as only the black will be showing.
      If a fish picked up the bait and effectively swam up thus taking say two drop shot out you’d see the yellow show
      Lift bite.
      As you can see there’s quite a bit on this subject.
      But it’s quite important to use all the float tip.
      You can only set your floats up to a point at home with fine tuning being done on the bank. Adding or removing trim shot so that all important float tip position works as an indicator.
      I hope that helps
      But I will endeavour to do a video on the very subject soon.
      By all means if you have any more questions please ask
      👍

      Not being funny but he said twice he got it from the Range for about £6. Why click on a video if you're not going to listen?🤷‍♂

    The smallest shot I can use is a no.8. Anything smaller I find impossible to handle.

      @SoartackleCoUk  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Smaller shot are far from easy to use unfortunately. Have you tried slot shot or styles? They tend to be easier to use as they’re normally softer. Also being an oblong shape they’re easier to handle. 👍

    Hi,
    I'm from another country, how can I buy that cylinder?

    • @SoartackleCoUk
      @SoartackleCoUk  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi not sure if I can help you with that one. Might be just a hunt around your local shops that sell floristry items as the cylinder is sold as a glass vase here.

    Thanks for the video. I make my rigs up using a Rigmate and check them directly in my water butt. (Obviously, no good for your demonstration)

      @@SoartackleCoUk I bought my pole of youse a middy muscle tech 6 mtr with a few extra extensions 4 and 4 top kits I bought 2 packs of 3 sensas 1.50 mtr hollow tips and cut them down to suit the bushes for the 3 sizes of middy solid elastics you recommended and use this set up for all my pole silver fishing great kit ,I actually bought another muscle tech 6 for spares , I actually regularly fish it with all the extensions and the butt from the other pole getting me about 11.5 mtrs and not a bother tempted to go longer but can't seem to source spares anymore because I think middy have stopped trading any idea what's happening with them ,anyway sorry for rattling on ,what you think of my setup ?be nice to get an experienced anglers opinion regards owen

      Hi mate, Set up sounds good to me. So long as it works for you that is the main thing. Stick to your 11 mtr its more than enough id of thought for most places. You could always chuck a waggler or a small feeder/bomb for your longer line. Sounds like your doing bob on with elastic choice. :-) As for MIddy they are still around. The original owners retired and sold the company. The new owners have annouced they hoping to have everything back up and running in March. They have been posting about stuff on Facebook.
