Awesome achievement 👏 well done, especially in that heat. I would like to have a crack at this one day, but 100 miles, its just next level. 👌👍👏💪kudos to you
I didn't personally make it, got to saddlescombe farm and DNF'd, massive kudos for finishing, it was pretty bleak in the heat so I doth my cap to you Paul
I knew it was going to be a long day as my times were slower than last two times. I think everyone was close to the edge of their limits during the day. You will come back stronger
Well done for finishing. I ran passed you quite early on and you said you werent enjoying it 🤣🤣at that moment, but glad to see you pass later at southease still pushing on. Was a tough day at the office
Huge kudos Mr Coates!!!! Great stuff mate! So much grit and determination! You are a huge inspiration mate. Good to see Ron and Mr P making and appearance 😎🤘
Mr P was a real star. Only meant to drive me there and then popped up at some of the aid stations. He is a true gentleman. I think Ron struggled with the heat a bit as well
Great video Paul! And huge congrats to getting it all done on such a hot day!!! 43% DNF rate I gather (to which I contributed). Good to share a few miles with you early on and to witness first hand your legendary trouble-making at the first aid station! 😆
Sorry to hear the heat got to you. But next time, you will have more experience. Always lots of banter at aid stations. The second half was a real struggle. Mr p gave me a lift and then popped up at 3 aid stations. Bless him. It’s so hard without crew or pacers, but we still carry on regardless. See you at another race no doubt
Great job Paul, sorry not to bump into you there! Good to see Kev there at Jevington aid station 👍 Hopefully they'll put in some more flat hills next year
Bloody bravo! This was my first attempt at 100 and a combination of the heat, and a number of nutrition and kit mistakes meant I dropped out at mile 67. Learnt a lot and will be back stronger next year, motivated by the 54% of you that got to the end this year. Well done mate.
Great running Paul! Your race schedule is mental though 😅If I'd know you were running, I would have come and said hi at the start! That heat was brutal. It was a real struggle running through the afternoon!
@@PaulCoatesTrailRunning Completely agree! So many cases where they went above and beyond. Getting ice under my hat and spraying me with water. Made all the difference.
I'd be very happy with 27 hours, Paul. Well done fella and thanks for sharing another run!
It was a tough day out. My feet were so sore after getting trench foot at TP100. But we try our best
Fantastic effort Paul
Many thanks!

They do become “do-able” after building up the miles. It’s a change of mind set. Set off slow and slog it out
Amazing, fantastic, superb!
Mental fortitude beyond anything I possess 👍💥
Probably just stubbornness and a mix of stupidity really

Unbelievable determination Paul - fantastic job 👍🏃🏻♂️🏁🥵
I didn’t have you to push me. So focused on the tea at the end

My legs were empty from recent races and it was a real challenge at the start. Glad we made it to the end. So warm

Yeah, they always promise flatter hills….don’t know if I believe them
Another brilliant effort, this time with blazing heat. Well done, Paul.
Different to the mud fest at Thames path. I wonder why we do these daft things
Great stamina. Love the way it transitions from the hottest day to you waist deep in muddy water. Nice one.
That end clip was a couple of years ago in February. Chest deep and only a few degrees C. Massive difference
Incredible, saw a huge dropout rate this year with the heat. Congrats
I am not surprised
Bloody bravo!

Oh bugger, that’s a long way before dropping. But back next time, wiser and stronger
Fair play to you and all the other runners, what a hot run for you all. Great effort Paul well done on getting to the finish.
It was a very long day, but was so pleased to run around the track at the end. Pasta, tea and walk to train station. Very tired on train home
What an inspiration! This just makes me want to keep running ultras! Keep pushing!
Thank you for your kind comments. Saw you took a tumble on a 50miler. That’s normally me.
Great running Paul! Your race schedule is mental though 😅If I'd know you were running, I would have come and said hi at the start! That heat was brutal. It was a real struggle running through the afternoon!
It was relentless _ but the Marshall’s were the stars. Nothing was too much for them

Fantastic job Paul 👏👏 Great to see you at Botolphs….I told you there were no hills!! 😂
@@bensmith6633 - thank you for the positive vibes. That hill was nearly flat
@@PaulCoatesTrailRunning haha 😂 Truleigh hill can be never ending!
Incredible mate. Well done.
Thank you 😊
Another 100 miles smashed out! How do you manage to keep yourself motivated during the night? Thanks for the videos. Rob
I am not actually a fan of 100’s for that reason. Think I need to focus on shorter distances and get home same day
Donkey 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Special cryptic message for you. Mr P is such a star ⭐️
