@@thekernowrunner3752 - you should do. I ran it as two races. Get to Petworth. Reset my mind and start again. That seemed to work

@@conradburdekin722 - it’s a good race to do. Steady build up. Expect it to be hot and be ready for quite a bit of walking during the night. Superb finish though

Well done Paul, nice to see you again. Sadly a DNF for me. A big tumble at about 7km in the field with the flat long grass. Put my foot into a hole under the grass. Hurt my wrist and knee, hung on until CP2 but the swelling had gotten painful. Decided to pull out and save myself for Serpent Trail 100km.
Oh bugger- pretty sensible decision. Hope you are fit for Serpent 100k

It was so humid. Had lots of chaffing as T-shirt was so wet. But it was such a lovely course. And great company

It was four seasons in one day. I did Hangars 50k this weekend and my legs were trashed

Really feel for Threshold having to change Race to Stones and King. Never knew king had gone to 100km. Glad you had a good race!
Threshold have the largest food and snack collection at their pit stops of any races. Plus hot food at the finish
didnt know they had to change rtts, knew about race to the king as the cathedral didnt want them finishing at Alfreds statue,

Is the route well signposted Paul and how many runners usually take part for the three days?
They provide a gpx for each day as the coastal path changes every year. There’s a couple of hundred runners doing 1-2 or 3 days or the 40 mile ultra on the Saturday

Three had days in a row, even with your experience of doing it previously it must have been a challenge. Loved the beach in the last two miles
10 days of chest infection just before the race didn’t help
