It lookes great. Yeah, you won't have to get under there very often, but when you do, that concrete pad is so nice. The corners look professionally done! Good job on the insulation, that's something a lot if people skip, but it's going to save you money and possibly keep your pipes from freezing.
I like how you did your skirting, neighbor! I don`t live to far from you. I live just outside of Watkins Glen. Did you ever get the venting done on your skirting?
Strapping is done by the specks of mobile home manufacturer.. Did no video on the strapping it was done by the mover .. Holes were drilled in concrete and wedge anchors put in with strapping and nuts added
Pretty girl, have a great school year! If you put the insulation on the back side of the wood supports, would that give too much gap between the metal and the insulation?
Its best to leave a 1 inch space between the bubble foil for better insulation value .. My brother didn`t want to mess with crawling under trailer to staple it on .. But you can rip the boards down a inch add bubble foil and then the strip you ripped off to get the spacing required .. It is how I would have done it for myself .. Thanks for the Question and watching
My Opinion I if this was my home I would rather have the metal ridges Vertical corners looks unfinished If I came home and saw this and you didnt asked my how I wanted the metal run I would be pissed
I guess a job that looks better takes more time the corners looked good not trying to be an AHole you guys did a good job on what yall did just looks better to me vertical my opinion no disrespect intended

Would not have thought to just rip the boards and then sandwich the insulation. Thanks for the advice!

Just curious why didn't you want to use cinderblock for skirting?
Does it need vents to breathe under the house. Most skirting have vents.
This is metal roofing so it will need venting like a insulated skirting
You do the top rail for the metal skirting?
The top part is the vinyl that was already on the mobile home
Hmmm. No Vents?
Plumb Bob
Where is your vents
Getting added soon
I was thinking about the vents also, glad they're getting added.
