  • There’s too many activities to choose from 😰 one of the things I love about CDMX is that they’re on a constant rollout of festivals, events, cultural exhibits, and all kinds of free activities you can imagine. There is no such thing as a boring weekend here. I wish I could clone myself 5 times to be able to go to alllllll the things but here’s what we managed to fit in this weekend:
    • Visiting the Centro Cultural de Ambiente 🌿 the newest addition to Parque Chapultepec’s many museums, but this one is all about the environment. Entrance is free open to the public all week. They have some really interesting displays on ecology & urban planning history of Mexico City specifically, including a whole section on the indigenous history & ritualistic practices that have defined their relationship to nature and the earths elements until today.
    • Eating some of the tastiest vegan food in the city 🍦🍔 aka @fat_vegan_mex . seriously THIS PLACE. on another level. and so many different things to choose from! We shared a gringa (like quesadilla but smaller), burger and fries, this delicious falafel plate, and soft serves cones to finish 😌 as someone who’s tried a lot of vegan food, and especially those comfort foods, this place has by far been the best I’ve ever had… TRY ME.
    • Went to the Zoo 🐯🐢 also free! Anthony really wanted to go and it was honestly so much fun, we felt like little kids again just staring in awe at the creatures that exist in this world. Also saw a giant panda for the first time 🥹
    • This was on our way back home, but there was all this commotion for a spinner toy (?) so ofc we had to watch and Anthony got in on the action. Love seeing this kind of stuff 😂
    • Dinner at what is the best Japanese restaurant we’ve come across so far (and we have high standards ☝🏼). @mogbistro is the closest thing I’ll ever get to Fuji’s (iykyk), and honestly I’m very very pleased with their sushi 👏🏼 this is definitely a regular spot for us now and I almost always order the dragon roll, those crunchy little toppings really get me.
