Mexico City does have a lot more neighboorhoods worthy of finding an AirB&B, a hotel, or an apartment, to live and trhive within the hustle and bustle. Avenida Insurgentes Sur conects many of these NHs, including San Angel and the fabulous Coyoacan, an ancien town that got trapped by cdmx sprawl, with plenty of charm... Then you have Santa Fe, Interlomas, Bosque de las Lomas...but because of the topograhy they are set in,, they feel more isolated and detached from the city, eventhough they have their good share of shopping, food and dinning available, very diverse, but a lot more fragmented... Then you have other cities, such as Queretaro, that will compete for your attention....
What a charismatic personality you have, well articulated and beautiful, ...you have spoken well of a city, and country, that with its numerous challenges and imperfections, it does welcome everyone, and yet, most stay away as you said. Mi casa es tu casa, thank you for your warm commentary.

Hope you get to check it out sometime!
I was in Mexico City many years ago, but only for a couple of days, and I didn't venture too far beyond the Zocalo. I was interested to see what else I was missing - a heck of a lot, it turns out! :)
Yup you definitely have to go back 🙂
Excellent work on Mexico city, Alina.
I fully expected to click this video and see a gringa boasting about Condesa. Much respect for actually indulging in mexican culture. Much love
haha thanks
Thank you for this! I’ll be going to Mexico City in 2 days!
Hope you have a great time!
what I missed the most about Mexico are public transportation and good food. I wish the US had decent public transportation, it is so much needed.
It’s so great to see a video of Mexico without that yellowish filter that most Amer-media use when it comes to show cities down the border
Thank you 🙏🏼
Next time you should visit the Museo Nacional de Antropología e historia is the best and more important museum in México. It is very close to the Castillo de Chapultepec
So beautiful ! Loved it.
Love Mexico 🇲🇽 ❤
When I was in the Navy, we went to Cabo. There was a storm, so we ran into a toll both, and coincidentally two Canadian women ran in there with us. I will always have a great memory of that weekend lol. I also partied with the Canadian Navy whom knew how to have fun haha
Really enjoyed your video of México city, 🤩💯👍
Mexico City is a colosal, powerful and a beautiful city with a lot of things to see and enjoy
I love of my loved country🇲🇽 is “Puerto Vallarta” ‘cause pirate 🏴☠️ ships are so funny and the sunsets🌅 are so so beautiful🤩)
🤍💙

@@AlinaMcleod CDMX is a worldclass city imo. BEST city in Latin America hands down!!!!!!💯💯💯💯💯💯
Beautiful city I really wanna enjoy more videos about this city ❤️❤️❤️
My pleasure!
Do not forget to enjoy as much as you can of the gastronomy or overlook the museum of anthropology and history to better understand Mexico
So beautiful country 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Came across your podcast of Mexico City today Alina. Wanted to hear what a fellow Canadian had to say about it. I want to take a cultural trip to the Yucatan to see Mayan culture. I see you recently make some podcasts there as well. Looking forward to watching them next!

Bienvenida. Y qué viva México👍
¡Exceptional presentation of Ciudad de México! As a high school student in 1968 I lived with a Mexican family on Aguascalientes in Colonia Roma and studied Mexican culture at the Universidad de las Americas - then located in Ciudad de México. I’m ready to return with my wife. Learning the safe areas will hopefully assure her that we can freely enjoy as I reminisce.
