  • Healthier Versions recipes for macronutrient restrictions. I share these recipes because I know what it's like to live with dietary restrictions. Because of this eating lifestyle I have been able to avoid being put on 4 medications, maintain a 17-pound weight loss, maintain a blood pressure range of the mid 120's to the low 130's, as well as maintain an a1c in the low 5's.
    Today's recipe is very quick and easy to make. It has been around for several, several years. Being that it's hot all over the United States right now, I believe that you would like to make something cool and refreshing. It is low-carb. low-sugar with a decent amount of protein. The Healthy Highlights and Recipe are as follows:

    Healthy Highlights
    Cals=93.8 SatFat=1g Chol=102.8mg Sodium=247.5mg Carbs=2.8
    Fiber=0.2g Sugar=2g Protein=9.7g Net Carbs=2.6
    Ingredients
    Tuna (Hyvee/Light-Low Sodium) 1 pkt
    Egg (Boiled) 1 lg
    Onion (Sweet/Chopped) 1/8 sm 2 tbs
    Onion & Herb ⅛ tsp
    Garlic & Herb ⅛ tsp
    Onion Powder ⅛ tsp
    Kosher Salt ⅛ tsp
    Relish 2 tsp
    Mustard ¼ tsp
    Miracle Whip 1 tbs
    Directions
    Boil then chop egg
    Chop Onion
    Empty tuna into a medium bowl
    Stir in remaining ingredients
    Enjoy!!!
