    Have to chime in here as I own two SC400, and have BC racing on one and rev 9 II on the other ... The BC are on the one I track (drift) and the Rev 9 II are on my daily. I will say that you're supposed experience is definitely not the normal. For the extra 600 bucks no way would I take my Rev 9 off and put bc's. For a daily that you DO NOT PLAN ON TRACKING Rev 9 are 100% efficient/fine with a ride quality that is excellent. Zero issues or problems after 18 months of daily driving on my Rev 9 .... Oh yeah not to mention they're rebuildable. My advice to anyone is watch 10 other videos on rev9 before listening to this guy telling you don't buy them.

    • @MemosGarageAZ
      @MemosGarageAZ  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ("My advice to anyone is watch 10 other videos on rev9 before listening to this guy telling you don't buy them") = I'm a big advocate on people doing their research, it's something I always recommend either in my videos or comments and not just to go off what I say here on my channel. I did this before I bought mine and honestly didn't find anything bad or similar to what happened to me. That doesn't mean that it hasn't happened before, it just means not enough people out there making videos or reporting what happened to them most likely cause of the cheap price not worth their time and move on or they get their refund and move on. Why do you think they sent me a replacement redesign top hat? Cause they know that design that broke on me is cheaply made, so they have these on hand and send them on when this happens. Honestly I would have preferred to be given the option for a full refund or the replacement part and I would have chosen a full refund, how can I trust anything they make at this point; BTW this isn't the first product I've experience with Rev9, bought an oil cooler for my G37 and it was poorly made as well, the kit has missing pieces/hardware, the wrong o-rings/washers and the sandwhich plate looked like it was chiseled with hand tools, it didn't look like quality machine work, very rough everywhere. Even then I decided to give them another chance with the coilovers and I got burned again. Glad you haven't had issues with yours, sounds like they did a better job on the ones for your car model. I'm pretty sure I said in my vid, I was only looking for something short term for at least a year or so that's why I went cheap on price with the Rev9's, these were never going to be for long term use but they only lasted like 3 months and they were way too stiff for the streets for my liking anyways. The BC Racing Coilovers have given me ZERO issues and I've had them on for over a year, the quality is on the BC's compared to the Rev9's is light years apart and I would say they are mid level and worth 100% the $1K price tag. After my bad experience with some of Rev9's products how can ever recommend them to anyone? I just can't, I have to be real, I'm showing/documenting my real life experience testing out parts on my channel but at the end of the day it's your money and you spend it how you want to.

    • @lewokejames
      @lewokejames 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I also am giving first hand real life experience, which as you see in my initial comment stated I run both BC and Rev 9. And I have no issue telling anyone that reads this that for a daily non-tracked car buy rev 9 with 100% confidence. Also if once adjusted to your desired height and turned to full hard isn't stable enough for anyone, simply adjust the spring rate upwards 3 or 4 turns at a time and test drive until you like how it feels.

    • @MemosGarageAZ
      @MemosGarageAZ  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Cuz I can buy both the Rev9's and sway bars and still save money over the BC's!
    NOT A FAIR COMPARISON.
    Additionally, I've watched well over a dozen TH-cam videos and some professional written reviews and NOT A SINGLE person has reported even ONE problem, clunky sound, defective, etc. with the Rev9 street II's in any of the info I've seen! ... You are the very first.
    I think everyone knows that ALL products have defectives, or people that accidentally or intentionally treated their car a little harsher than they preferred to do and had a product get damaged. That's just a fact of buying products. Look at the screws that were lost. That shouldn't have happened. Whether that's the companies fault or yours, it's never gonna be determined. To say not to buy the one you messed up, and to buy the BC's even though they are $663 more, well, that a huge step up, with a couple of steps in between. Not a fair comparison! :(

("people that accidentally or intentionally treated their car a little harsher than they preferred to do and had a product get damaged. That's just a fact of buying products. Look at the screws that were lost. That shouldn't have happened. Whether that's the companies fault or yours, it's never gonna be determined") = So you're taking the stand of blaming it on the customer even though It's absolutely without a doubt the companies fault, it's their design not mine, these were used on the streets as intended, if I would have taken the car rallying maybe your statement would make more sense as I would have been using them in a way that they were not meant to be used. I don't buy products with the mind set to bash any company in my videos, in my channel I like showing/documenting my real life experience testing out parts but at the end of the day it's your money and you spend it how you want to.

    Appreciate your vids man. How have the BC’s been treating you so far? Do you daily drive your G? I’m debating on getting them for my g37x sedan or spending a little more money and getting fortune autos

      Hello there. I have zero complaints so far and yes the G is my daily. These are so smooth and comfortable that sometimes I forget I'm on Coilovers. Hope that helps and good luck.

    So let me get this straight, YOU had an issue with rev9 coil overs so YOU get on TH-cam and make a video telling millions of people not to buy rev9 coil overs like everyone is going to have a problem with rev9 coil overs? I had an ass load of problems with BC racing coil overs BUT I didn’t persuade people into not buying BC racing coil overs because I had an issue with them. I have a Infiniti Q50 which has rev9 basic street coil overs for 2yrs and I have NO problems what so ever. You guys need to stop with all this Internet fear mongering and miss information, you probably jump the curb and damage those coil overs yourself then you get on TH-cam crying and complaining that’s what I find funny about this bullshit video do you know how many people had problems with BC racing coil overs always blowing?

      WOW someone got off on the wrong side of the bed this morning. I don't tell people what to buy or not to buy, I share my real world experience with the products I personally run on my cars guy. At the end of the day people are going to do what they want to do no matter what I say so take your 🗑️ elsewhere. Good luck with your stuff and thanks for watching.

And by the way we all have real-world experience when it comes down to suspension or building engines etc etc but the way you come off to these people like you're saying do not buy Rev9 coilovers like I said I had a terrible experience with BC racing but I would not get on TH-cam blasting them That's between me and BC racing
