No issues with those reels. You're barely using them since we're fishing in 12-24 inches of water so it doesn't cause issue

Witch b&m reels are you using? Are tying a Loop knot? And what size jigs head please I would like to come fishing so need set up.I wade fish Gulf Coast for specks like to have set up for casting also banks thinking 7.5 2 peace with lews reel 1000 let me know

Does the Army Corps of Engineers flood the standing timber or is this from heavy rainfall. Does this happen every year about the same time. If someone wanted to come down in the future.

They raise water levels up to summer pool in the Spring. Heavy rainfall adds onto it
