- In this video, we are talking about the JD1 In Ear Monitors that come with built in DAC and is priced at just ₹1,699!
You get a 10mm Dynamic Driver inside with Alloy plating, along with a 120cm Copper cable featuring a mic, controls, and a Type-C connector at the end.
The DSP can output upto 24 bit and 96Khz plus you can even change between 5 EQ profiles just by clicking the volume buttons together.
The Sound Signature on the JD1 IEMs is well balanced with a V Shaped curve which results in good bass and the vocals are very very detailed but the treble feels a bit rolled-off at the higher end.

I'm good with my 3.5 mm one's.... atleast charging and music can go on ....... Cost less for same sound quality
It does come with a 3.5mm variant but you don't get a DAC in it.
You can't listen to Hi-res audio on the 3.5 mm one if you're not using a separate DAC with it. Still it would sound better than boat and most other TWS at that price range so that's that.

Well balanced and V shape? Nahh that's not how it works brotha, v shaped graphs have higher bass, to not make it sound dark, companies put on higheruppers too and wallah we have a V shape. The mids here are mostly muddy or atleast the instruments aren't that clear. A balanced sound signature does not push anything up, and hence it's balanced. I really suggest you to only make vidoes on something you have an idea about. Get some good iems say hexa ( I have one ) listen to that and then you will understand for yourself
They advertise this IEM as 'Balanced Sound Signature with a V Shaped Curve', which should result in better bass, but in our testing the bass is just decent and not as punchy as other KZ IEMs.
We tested this IEM thoroughly before making this shorts. In-fact, we also compared it with the '7hz Salnotes Zero IEM' which are in the same segment and has better bass but these JD1s handle the vocals better.

This is the DSP version. HPZ says it's got five different tunings. The first one is balanced, while the second tuning is V-shaped. They even said the 5th one is Harman Reference, which is a bold claim to make for something that costs 1.7k.

@@newlearner8701 Depends on what tastes you have. Balanced or V shaped, but if you want to get into the hobby, you should see what balanced sound is all about. For this purpose.i would recommend the Simgot EW100p or the 7Hz zero ( I have not tried the zero 2, but it has more bass than the zero, and to my ears the zero has enough bass, although many do say that it lacks in bass). Honestly, you cannot go wrong with any of the two but simgots are a tad bit better acc to me and should suit a newbie better. And your ears might need some getting used to the "in ear" part, but rest assured you will get used to it and it will not bother you after some time

under 2k u should get 7hx crinical zero 2, qkz x hbb(more bass than zero 2) , tanzu waner(very neutral , very less bass , all focus on vocals , female vocals sounds good) . if u can spend more then see thruthear hola, qkz x hbb khan, and the thruthear x crinicals zero project red( dont get blue). crinical and hbb are ytubers and audio tuners and engineers too, see in this regard.

Hey. I bought this but I find the highs to be a bit distorted. Is it a manufacturing defect or just the nature of these earphones?
That's exactly what we mentioned in our video. The treble is not as sharp and that's why the highs are not handled well.

1700 is very cheap for iems with dsp. Ps iems can end up costing upto ₹2,00,000 and above and that tho without a dac, so yes, very cheap!
The same website sells the DAC type C to 3.5mm adapters for ₹2k.. it is included here.. plus these would sound better than any wireless headphone upto ₹10k and better than regular airpods even..
